Unfriendly. Looks like everyone hates their job and it shows in the food and cleanliness. There was ONE girl that was very sweet, Tiara. Health department should be called on this place. We sat at the counter and the prep area was filthy. Never Once saw anyone wipe anything down. Gross! Good part Was there was no wait . Now we know why. And last, a woman showed up in the cook area helping out and was not wearing a hairnet. Disgusting. Turned out she was the GM! My server was Kristi, me and my friends went after homecoming and Kristi was AMAZING!!! she absolutely made my night!

Food is usually good but service is always terrible. But on my last visit, I waited over an hour for pancakes and then they came out burnt. To make it worse, they tried to serve them upside down so I wouldn't realize it. The lack of integrity was the most disappointing part. I think the entire staff hate their jobs, which is clearly a sign of poor management. I really hope it gets better, since I love Dennys and was excited to have one so close when I moved here. read more

We came in for a late lunch and the place was completely empty. The waitress was very friendly and kind, she took very good care of us. Food was good, as expected, the restaurant was clean and we were satisfied. We can recommend this for lunch in cocoa beach. read more

We are multiple families in a hotel nearby so it was an easy walk. As soon as we arrived Jeremy was extremely attentive and personable. Breakfast was excellent and the service even better. We know how challenging it is for servers waiting on multiple families with kids, but Jeremy did not miss a trick. Hot food, cooked well, served in a timely manner. On our way out, another family was walking in who said they were back for another breakfast because of their great experience as well. We will definitely be back while we are staying here on vacation. read more

Every time I go there, I get her displeased face, poor customer service. One elderly white worker must learn to treat and serve customers well. Her behavior is simply disgusting .... The server was the only positive about this place, she was nice and attentive. It took over 30 minutes to make our food with only a few other tables seated. The food was absolutely awful. The meat balls tasted funky and cheap. I got one of the skillets and it was one of the worst things I've got at a restaurant. It was flavorless and clearly used unseasoned frozen crap. Waiting over 30 min for food and our server actually yelled at line cooks because our 3 meals weren't even started. Other who came in after us received their food and were done, but we still didn't have our food. When it did come, my hasbrowns were burnt and hard. My pancakes tasted funny. I ate my eggs, took the rest, but ended up throwing it away. Poor quality of food and as nice as I tried to be to server, she clearly didn't want to be there. If I can do less than 1 star I would. I anticipated leaving the whole time and believe me I had a whole lot of time! My servers hands where so freaked dirty, like she was gardening. i call and order food from cocoa beach denny's like 1 or 2 times a week and been doing this for a few months now .I placed a order today for a super slam wasa told 10 min and i wait that 10 mins before i get in my car to drive there seeing its only a few blocks from me . well i waited another 15 min's . when i got there my order hadn't even been given to the cooks yet so i waited another 15 min's in Denny's my food was put up and i had to ask one of the girls to get it for me seeing i have to close my business to go get the food . but when i get back to work the slam i order wasn't what i got am sure what i got isn't on the menu at all i got half a half a stick of bacon didn't get any sausge at all and they put four pancakes in there i only ever eat one but it comes with two when make right .this is two times now that something like this has happen to me not sure i'll be going back there again .. read more

Horrible experience! The place smelled like wet dog. They had fans running towards the wet carpet. Our table was dirty and took a while to order. The server didn't write down our orders, so there a few mistakes when the food FINALLY came. Cold. Uncooked. Even colder because we had to wait for silverware after asking several times. The kicker was when he brought our toast after 5 minutes after our main dishes. There was a bread bag twisty tie on the plate with the toast. He asked if we wanted anything remade. They have very bad customer service. The staff was complaining about other employee not being present, which is bad because its not the time or place for this type action. The tables was dirt until like 9am. In between customer should be your time to clean and make sure your place of business is suitable for your next guest. When the 9am employee showed they where all huddled talking two or three people quit in front of customer instead of servicing and cleaning the restaurant. Very very bad never seen nothing like it. It's Denny's so don't expect much. If you get "Carmen" as your waitress just get up and walk to another section. That woman spends more tikme at the counter arguing whose job it is to fill up the juice machine, what shift someone else is working, and arguing over how toast should be written on a ticket than waiting on her customers. read more

I realize 5 stars is a lot, but this is a 5 star Denny's based on eating here a number of times. Today was our first time since the lockdown started, and our first since relocating to Cocoa Beach (though we've eaten here a lot on visits). The staff were very friendly, super-efficient and doing a better job at following Covid guidelines than a lot of other restaurants in the area. The food was excellent, too. We had dinner this time and the salad was as fresh as one can get, and everything else we ordered was cooked perfectly. With all that's going on if you have a different experience maybe wait before posting a negative review and ripping people who are doing a job that is particularly difficult right now. read more

My dad, sister, and I went for breakfast yesterday. We all got the $8 grand slams. The eggs were cooked perfectly, as were my hash browns, bacon, and pancakes. Although the place is a little run down on the inside, the food was great. The special also came with coffee and juice, which were both good. Our server Joann was also super nice :) read more

Stayed in cocoa for a vacation and went here for breakfast. Like others said, plenty of space but we were put on a waiting list. Empty booths everywhere. The waitresses were unprofessional and often arguing with other staff. The cooks and waiters had no communication which caused more arguing, cold food, and screwed up orders. Now here's the major issues for me. The "bar" and kitchen were filthy. When I sat down I was actually shocked. I can see everything they're doing and they didn't even care. One waiter kept messing with his zipper and crotch (never washing hands) and then wiped his head off which caused dandruff to go into a bunch of orange juice about to be served. The staff laughed it off and we were sitting right there! Staff constantly touching food with bare hands. There was an older woman who was a cook. She needs to be fired. We waited for 35 minutes for eggs. 5 people were in the house. When i said my meat was cold she said why did you say so. Welllll you could not be found. We had not been at this Dennys in over two years because of the pandemic and we are in no hurry to go back. My daughter tried to order a grilled chicken and they were out so she tried the turkey dinner. The turkey was awful. She was given three thick slices that were fried on the grill and tasted like sausage. The mashed potatoes were like a rock. The corn was some awful off white color and looked like they were about a month old and tasted bad. Hard to believe they charge 15.99 for this mess. All the prices now seem out of sight. I went in for dinner last night and ordered the Atlantic salmon with 2 sides of broccoli. My mother ordered the nachos. Hers came back looking like the chips were soaked in grease, so she was very unhappy. My dinner was a disgrace. They microwaved the salmon and placed a bit of butter on the top. It was not warm enough to warm the butter and the salmon was raw and cold. The broccoli was heated just enough to melt the frost off the outside, but the inside was cold, like it came right out of the icebox. The waitress was kind enough to apologize and take it back to be recooked. When I got this one back, it had been heated on the grill and tasted like old grease. Like one would collect out of the top of the fryer. This was the first time in my life I had to cut salmon with a knife. Though the ends were 'recooked, the middle was not at all warm, and it was not cooked. So maybe they should have thawed it before trying to cook it? I don't know. My broccoli was no longer icy but was also not hot. I paid for my meals but no one can pay me to ever go back!!! If I could rate this a zero, I would. I consider myself lucky neither of us got food poisoning. read more

We were attending an event at the hotel across the street and several other people I know were there, all complained about slow service and cold food. The food was disgusting. I think the cooks messed everything up on purpose. They were loudly arguing with each other, wait staff, and manager (yelling at each other). The waitress was amazing. I felt so bad for her. Our eggs came out literally black on the bottom. We didn't want to say anything but our waitress noticed and took them back to be replaced. The replacement eggs were cold and raw. The whites were still clear. Obviously having some staff issues. We won't be back to this location. read more

AWFUL FOOD AND SERVICE..my husband and I were there the night of April 21. There was one cook and one server. I felt sorry for them both. It was so bad guests just left because they were sitting so long without being served or order being taken. Dining room wasn't clean...old food on floor. I would never recommend this place. The waitress said the manager walked out that night and just left her and the cook. She called the general mgr but that was of no help. Even the strippers that came in between breaks at the local strip club left because of poor service. The waitress did all she could to make it a tolerable experience for the customers who stayed. worst service i've ever had if i could give it 0 stars i would. we order, and about 30 mins later we see our server give multiple people whom had came in after us, their food. an hour into our wait a DIFFERENT waitress ASKED us if our waitress dropped our food. she didn't even have the respect to tell us they had to remake it. they were extremely rude. paid $27.63 to literally eat the bacon as all of it was terrible but i at LEAST have the RESPECT to pay the bill!!!! read more

The cook was playing loud music on his phone & flipping through his phone & oldies played on the speakers above at the SAME TIME. It would have been OK to hear just the cooks music or to just hear the Denny's station they had on the speakers above, but to have to listen to BOTH at the same time was ridiculous. Please turn one off. We decided not to eat here because the cook was so busy finding the perfect loud music on his phone that we doubted the food would be decent. I simply can not handle listening to two different songs at the same time. We got our nachos to go. They were dog food quality, canned meat, canned tomatoes and sour cream. The server was polite. I feel bad for her. We might have stayed if it wasn't for the obnoxious music issue. Pick ONE station. We are at Steak 'n Shake now. They're playing ONE station on the above speakers.
