Onec again Dennys is a great place to eat with your family. But this Dennys in Carlsbad NM is to old. The workers are the best at what they do. In the last month no AC and no ice-cream for the kid. Because the freezer are broken. This Dennys is over 40 years old it's time for a new one. And the 5 starts are for the workers for working no matter what. read more

I thought I'd give it one more try. It seems like a hit and miss this time was a definite miss. I ordered just a single chicken fried steak not the double and it was absolutely an edible not only was it overdone to the point of needing a steak knife to just tasting like I've been fried and fish oil. The other meal with my guest or the chicken fried chicken it was only about a quarter inch thick that included the breading. It tasted a little bit better than the chicken fried steak but. We just pretty much took it home for the dogs. Which by the way, scarfed it up right away. So I usually wait six months between visits here hoping that it'll improve, but I think I'm just not ever coming back. read more

I almost left and then the manager saved us. The young lady serving in the morning 10-27, ignored us. For a long time. After a while I started to try and get her attention until I realized it was deliberate. She was avoiding looking in our direction. Very odd situation. I was just about to get up and have a word with her when the manager came and asked how we were. Melissa took our order, served our food, made sure it was good, cleared and rang us out. Staff were friendly...greeting customers cheerfully. They were attentive, as well The food was fresh and tasted good. There were a couple of errors with the order. While the pancakes were fluffy and delicious, syrup was not included with the to go order. Also, hubby asked for no cheese on his omelet, so I made sure to point out that I did want cheese. Pancake is bad unless you get it with chocolate chips. Slow. It is very bland decor inside.

Tina did a great job being attentive while serving. She was really nice and friendly. She recommended the berry stuffed french toast slam and it was a good suggestion. Last time my daughter and her husband were there, our order got messed up, my coffee tasted like water, and they didn't have any ranch dressing for my son-in-laws salad. We won't be back. The service has went down hill. And the air conditioner wasn't working. read more

Last few times the food has been good but tonight I ordered two burgers for my wife and I and after the second bite we couldn't eat anymore. The meat is very bland and literally had zero flavor. I came in to eat lunch with my kids yesterday afternoon my sever mackinsy was the best! Terrible. Terrible food. Terrible service. The place was dirty. There were no less than five waitresses all talking with each other, having a good old time. But folks were having to ask and wait for coffee refills. My hash browns were tough and dry, my eggs were over cooked, my toast had hardly any butter on it. I ordered the hearty breakfast sausage and they brought me two regular sausage links. When I pointed this out they did finally bring the correct meat. My bad. I should've gone with the regular links as thenhearty link was downright awful tasting. I took one bite and even spit that out. I'd never visit this establishment again. read more

I ordered 9 bottles of Dasani water from Door Dash. I received 9 Togo cups of water that was definitely not purified or filtered. It tasted like dirt. I asked for a full refund for the entire purchase and was given $8.51. I even added $2.00 more to the drivers tip, as it was not her fault she had to carry 9 cups to the door. Denny's should have sent a message that they were out of water and ask me what I preferred. I would have cancelled the order. so in the future you might want to call Denny's and make sure they have what you want. read more

Walked in for breakfast and the restaurant appeared to be at about half occupancy. We waited to be seated for at least 15 minutes. No greeting or an acknowledgment. I finally found someone to ask about being seated. They asked the woman that appeared to be in charge about seating us and she yelled "Seats are closed. The kitchen is backed up. Don't seat anyone". I get that they might have been backed up, but there were at least 5 people standing around not doing anything. This was my first time back in here since they reopened and will be my last. Horrible attitude and customer service. I would have givven 0 stars if possible. read more
