I chose a blueberry one. It was nice to try the needham (often called "Maine potato candy"), a highly localized and historic chocolate confection native exclusively to Maine. I'm usually not a fan of dark chocolate, but this was very light and rich. One group took advantage of our group discount and bought extra items. My 3 Sisters don't have a website, but you can track them down on Facebook, Instagram and Etsy. Their Etsy page is where you can order. We found them at the Kennebunkport Farmer's Market where four varieties of their cookies were on sale - Chocolate Volcano, Lemon Ricotta, Cran-Raisin Orange, and Italian Butter. We bought a Lemon Ricotta, one Cran-Raisin Orange, and a small Whoopie Pie. We loved all of them, but if I needed to pick my favorite it would be that Cran-Orange. Fantastic flavors! Their Etsy page tells the story of their recipes. They've "been in my family for generations and we were taught how to cook by our grandparents. We use local ingredients and small batches to make sure the quality is in every cookie. (They) have no preservatives...so when you receive them they are individually packaged and have a shelf life of about 2-3 weeks. Or you can use a freezer bag and freeze them up to 6 months."
