I thought that was great considering I live in Kennebunk. Today was my appointment at 10AM. I did a driveway earlier this week. I arrived today to find the door locked. I called the Portsmouth office and voiced my displeasure with not being told the office was closed. She said they left me a voicemail in December (I never received it). She said the woman I had my appointment with was no longer there. I said I wasn't happy about driving there for 1/2 hr. and since I was close to Portsmouth, did they have anything available in Portsmouth for today. She said yes, at 10:40. I said that would be great. She said I'm gonna put you on hold so I can set it up with scheduling. I sat in my car hoping to get a response. After 20 minutes on hold, I hung up and called back thinking I was in the black hole. So I called back. She had an attitude and said there was nothing available today but she could get me in next week. I told her I was not interested and honestly I did use a naughty word. If there's one thing I cannot tolerate is people wasting my time. They could have sent me an email or try contacting me again. So I wasted 1 hour and 20 minutes. Never again!

Location was nice and you can see the Old Harbor outside. but as you enter - my goodness was the scent so heavenly and relaxing!! I immediately drifted to the soap bar shelf and had the best time smelling them lol The scents were amazing and the soap packaging was beautiful. If you plan to give them for gifts, they are all ready to hand out! I love that there is a "portsmouth" soap sleeve and its cute that they named some of the soaps after things or areas around the town such "prescott gardens", "whaleback lighthouse" etc. There are other things to choose from there aside from soaps and have plenty of accessories and gift items as well. The staff was very pleasant during our visit and we actually enjoyed chatting about how she was from NY, moved to NH and loved it. Very tempting thought lol anyway, you have got to check this shop out whenever you're in Portsmouth and hopefully you'll love it as much as I did.

The woman working here was a sweetheart and helped guide me towards the exact soaps I needed. I bought four body bar soaps and one turmeric bar for the face. The smells were nostalgic, there were holiday scents, beach scents, floral scents, masculine scents, something for everyone. This is the perfect place to buy gifts for others. I cannot wait to come back here next time I make a trip!
