This is a large Walgreens with a drive up pharmacy window around back. The inventory here is good including a grocery area and photo kiosk area. There was a check-out line of about four people and another staff member came up to help customers. Local Walgreens in York that has parking and is clean and well organized. Staff are always friendly and I've never had any issues picking up medicine from the pharmacy. They have a good selection of drugstore beauty products and also offer FedEx drop off, which had comes in handy when I have returns. read more

Manager is rude, store employees look like they are scared to work there, the pharmacy is horrible. The only good things are the prices and items available. I only shop there if I really have to. read more

Ordered a prescription refill online on Thursday with a scheduled pickup on Sunday. On Sunday I went online and noticed it was not filled yet. I called the pharmacy and the rep apologized and said it would definitely be ready for pickup on Monday. Here we are Monday night and the order is still saying "In Progress we are working on your order". Moral to this story, if you have a prescription and your life depends on it, don't go to this Walgreens. In the past, I was using CVS and never had issues like this. I guess "change" is not always a good thing, and I will probably have to change back. read more

I never thought I would miss Rite Aid but Walgreens is terrible. Customer service is non existent. My wife gets the same prescription filled every six months, after two years using Walgreens they have never filled it correctly, every time they say they will make a note in the system and every time they mess up the order. Not only do they make a mistake but they are rude and blame my wife. We will be moving to a new pharmacy. read more

Not sure what is up with the employees at this Walgreens. Almost all have a negative attitude and are rude to customers.

The absolute worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The medication is never ready when they say it will be. Called yesterday and they said 10AM yesterday - went to pick up today and medication still not ready. And they are not apologetic or understanding at all. I know pharmacists are busy and overworked (I'm a nurse) but at least tell the customer an honest time when the medication will be ready. read more

Long wait in pharmacy, usual understaffed. Phone recording says closed. Wait policy is unreasonable. White haired senior woman misinformed me about my prescription/insurance, causing much frustration. She responds snarky. I already knew I'd have to submit to ins later. That wasn't the question. Not sure why this store doesn't have better reviews. It is very clean and friendly. My teenager dislocated her knee on the beach on a weekend. She has done it before so we knew what to do. The store manager, pharmacist and store clerk spent over a half hour helping me find the items I needed so that we could try and resume our vacation as best we could. A petella knee brace and crutches aren't the easiest items to find. Very grateful for all their patience and kindness. I am grateful and will use this store when I'm In York. read more

I got a prescription sent here to start antidepressants after a horrible breakdown that almost landed me in inpatient or worse. The older blonde woman was very rude, aggressive, and unpleasant to deal with. Our whole interaction was miserable, the whole time she was letting me know how badly I was inconveniencing her. she was complaining about me so loudly after our transaction that I could still hear her as I left the front door. Look, I'm just trying to not kill myself. I will never fill my prescriptions here again, I don't care if it means going out of town. read more

The pharmacist was a total jerk to me! I had a question on my prescription and he was so rude and told me he's been a pharmacist for 30 years blah blah and that the medicine my doctor and I wanted doesn't exist. Not a nice person at all!! I was hung up on and put on hold before I even got ahold of him too. Worst place to go for meds!! Shame on him for treating patients like they are stupid! read more

Went to the drive-through with my sister to get a COVID test this morning. Our appointments were back to back so although I was running late we were on time for her time slot. When we arrived to the window an older woman with a blonde mullet assisted us. Although we were apologetic at first she continued to be very rude and seemed upset that we were inconveniencing her by getting a test. She told us," we were killing her" with an eye roll when we first said why we were there. This is an extremely nerve wracking situation and she had no idea the circumstances of us getting tested and made this a truly awful experience. We have been tested at this Walgreens before and were always been greeted with respect and kindness but this woman was rude, disrespectful and condescending. This is our Walgreens but we would rather go elsewhere moving forward than risk having her again. read more
