She asked us questions to understand our needs and then showed us products to help. She and the rest of the crew were so warm and friendly! We had a wonderful experience. After using the products at home in CA for a few months, I knew I'd fallen in love. I've placed several orders since my trip last year both for myself and loved ones. Each time I order, I'm shocked by how quickly I receive my products seeing as they have to come all the way across the country to reach me. Each order has had a hand-written personal note from Sophie thanking me for my purchase. So sweet! I also have sent a few emails asking questions or for recommendations and always get a kind, thoughtful and thorough response. It's so different from most commercial businesses and I love it so very much. It's these types of little touches, the extra care and effort, that keep me constantly looking forward to when I can visit again in person. I literally tell everyone I know about my Jane Gee products and experiences because it's beyond amazing every time. AND- my skin has never been so clear and soft! Location was nice and you can see the Old Harbor outside. but as you enter - my goodness was the scent so heavenly and relaxing!! I immediately drifted to the soap bar shelf and had the best time smelling them lol The scents were amazing and the soap packaging was beautiful. If you plan to give them for gifts, they are all ready to hand out! I love that there is a "portsmouth" soap sleeve and its cute that they named some of the soaps after things or areas around the town such "prescott gardens", "whaleback lighthouse" etc. There are other things to choose from there aside from soaps and have plenty of accessories and gift items as well. The staff was very pleasant during our visit and we actually enjoyed chatting about how she was from NY, moved to NH and loved it. Very tempting thought lol anyway, you have got to check this shop out whenever you're in Portsmouth and hopefully you'll love it as much as I did.

In-Store: I waited for text confirmation but when I got to the store, they couldn't load their site nor had they received my order. They couldn't give me the same promotional discounts but I did get a double side-serving of smug indifference (thanks Brittany). Thank goodness for assistant store manager Wesley: I discovered later that I'd left my credit card behind and he was genuinely helpful when I called then stopped in to pick it up. She spent 8 hours working on my hair, taking amazing care of both me and my hair! She was so kind and funny to talk to, and listens to everything you ask and say! I left after those 8 hours with the most BEAUTIFUL purple hair, more than I could even imagine. She worked with my (extremely stubborn) hair and made it a work of art. She told me that because of my hair color and condition, true lavender all over wouldn't be possible, so she adapted and added a darker purple in places where lavender wouldn't cover, to make sure I was all purple and it turned out SO cool. Worth mentioning that the products she used for highlighting my hair got it to the light blonde I wanted, but left it feeling healthy and happy..something anyone who has had highlights knows is nothing short of a miracle. The store is well organized, clean & associates are friendly. Mom & I came here on 12/26/2025 to check out the annual sale. This will be our last time in this store as the FRM is closing soon. I did learn that there is a BAB store in Seabrook, NH in the Walmart plaza so on our next trip Mom & I will have to head there. Thanks BNB for being AWESOME! We will miss you!
