We had gotten a quote on carpet and LVP from Molynaeux first and had gotten the second quote from Romanos a few days later. Same carpet as what we selected at Molynaeux and a better quality flooring than Molynaeux in a color that we loved. The owner came out all the way from Plum/Penn Hills area to Wexford to measure everything and had given us a few sample options based on what we had told the receptionist we were looking for. He didn't pressure us into going with one brand over another. He brought the same carpet option we wanted from the other place and a couple others that were going to be durable for a baby and dog living in the home. We looked at the samples while he walked around and took measurements. He had sketched a rough floor plan with dimensions of each room where as Molynaeux just used their phone to measure and enter dimensions. We had selected a nicer option or the LVP flooring than what we picked at the other place and we were told that it was actually a little nicer than some of the other options because it was thicker. He assured us with our size dining room that going with something a little nicer wasn't going to add more than a hundred or two onto our total bill. When we received our quote, they were about 1.5k less than Molynaeux. We weren't nickel and dimed for removal or padding that we were at the other place. We pulled the trigger and got scheduled out to do the carpet. Two of their workers came by at 5-6am on the start day and had almost all the original carpet pulled up and the new padding out down. I think they were down in less than a day and a half. For two older gentleman, they were quick and they were clean and professional. Better than the staff that we would have had at our home had we went with Molynaeux. I already plan to use these guys again when we decide to replace the tile in our kitchen and bathrooms with the same LVP we got in our dining room. I couldn't recommend a better company and I'm glad we went with a small owned business over a large chain with terribly unprofessional customer service.

We then moved inside and he repaired very uneven, broken, and weak horsehair plaster. He never told us any of our asks were impossible but he always told us when there was a better way (to include not using him for some repair aspects) and gave us the low down on all the alternatives with quick re-quotes as needed. I am unsure what the other horrible review is from... because that is NOT what I have witnessed!…read more I bought a home with an awning. The previous homeowners used a different local company to take care of their awning. I found that they were so unprofessional. When it came time to get a new awning, I shopping around. I went to three different companies to get bids. Venango, while not the cheapest I found (and also not the most expensive), came out on top with professionalism and kindness! Today, March 26, 2020, I had my new awning placed. And, I couldn't be happier. I went through the process with Mike, the owner. He came to the house a few times to speak to me and show me the book of fabrics. Mike was just great. He understood what I needed and that the awning needed to be adjusted for my very tall husband. When the crew came today to do the work, I was pleasantly surprised with their professionalism! They spoke kindly and worked tidy. I wasn't uncomfortable being home with only my kids while strange men installed my awning. When they left, you would have never known anyone was here, aside for the awning, as my porch wasn't a dumping ground for cable ties. I am blown away by Venango! My awning is stunning. The work was impeccable. The people are just plain nice. I am thrilled. I will always go back to Mike and his crew for more shade work. They did an outstanding job.
