Alan Claude studio always has fabulous food for art walk night, tonight was meatballs and tiramisu. Delish!!!! I looked through the 8x10 prints to find some winter scenes to bring home. But did get a little overwhelmed by the amount people sharing the gallery and shop space and had to duck out. But! He always runs a really good sale for the 8x10s, where you can pick three for one set price. So I've made my list, I'm checking it twice and I'm sending my Santa back to pick them up. Nobody how busy the gallery is, Alan himself ALWAYS makes a point to greet every single person that steps in the door. He's also happy to take photos and sign art!

Bruce walked me through my options, clearly answered all of my questions, and gave some great recommendations. He let me know that it would be tight but he would be able to complete the job by Christmas Eve. Due to the ice storm over the next few days deliveries were delayed and an essential piece of the framing had not arrived on time. While there, we met Dana, the owner, who was gracious and friendly. Many of the prints were beautifully matted, framed, and mounted. There are a variety of landscape prints from New Hampshire and Vermont, with majestic mountains during the various seasons. Some are unframed but we didn't want to then purchase a cheap frame and materials from a chain store. With some prints in various sizes, we finally made a choice as to what we wanted. Dana was very patient the entire time although it was after his 5:00 closing time, but it did not bother him. We would highly recommend Dana and his store because he truly knows how to take care of a customer, and that, in and of itself, is a dying art.
