The only place around to customize a photo or painting with a classy frame. We purchased a painting nearby and stopped in for a frame. Carla helped us choose a simple, yet attractive and well fitting frame for the picture. She gave us many options to choose from and has a great eye for art and colors. Since we had to leave the area that same day, we left the painting with Carla to frame it and paid upfront for the cost of the frame and to ship the painting. I've purchased many pieces here, including earrings, pendants, cuffs, and my favorite -- a customized ring. (The display ring was far too large for me, so they placed a special request with the artist, who made one in my size. I had to wait awhile for it, but it was worth the wait!) The staff is knowledgeable about the artists and the craft of making these special pieces. I'm glad I found out about this little gem of a shop years ago, when I asked someone where she bought a gorgeous turquoise necklace she was wearing. Go check it out!

There's an amazing Chapel up the hill overlooking the green hillsides and white in the winter months. Inside countless visitors have left touching notes, photos and memories of the loved ones. Yes, we trekked up from CT for the same and searched for a very rare open space to place our former pups, too. The grounds were beautiful during our early June pilgrimage. Our Pup Cookie joined us. She took full advantage of the two dog ponds along with other pups visiting from far and wide. The marked trails are splendid to follow around the back of the property. All the volunteers and procurers ask for is a donation for the upkeep of the one-of-a-kind paradise nestled in the green mountains of Vermont.
