Well they were friendly and nice, and proficient too, asked us where we were from, for some reason. Who knew? by telling them Massachusetts, the equipment they gave us was beyond used. Yet the locals getting those goods would definitely refuse; we stewed! Our sons boots were so badly used, his ankles suffered and bruised, the experience was lost in a moment of blues. After one and a half hours of skiing the whole experience was doomed. Boo on you. read more

When I saw the price listed at $15/day I thought "ok what's the catch?", but there was no catch! All the equipment was modern, of good quality (Rossignol skis, etc) and in great condition. The employees were helpful and friendly and pickup and dropoff were quick and easy! I'll be renting from here if I'm in the area again, highly recommended. read more

We've rented skis or purchased stuff many many times over the years here. Always the staff were supremely pleasant and reasonably efficient... prices are low and equipment fair to good. That's a lot to like with little to zero for complaints. Still... it doesn't jump as perfectly over the top for 5 stars. But they sure come CLOSE to earning 5 stars with us. Seriously - they're so very nice and cordial + they are well positioned and quick for picking up rentals for Attatash or places a bit further away. read more

If you need skis or a board when hitting the snow in the white mountains this is the place to rent from. They are half the price of any other rental shop. The gentlemen that work here have years and years of experience and won't let you leave the shop unless everything is a perfect fit. read more

I was staying with a friend in N. Conway and considering getting my rental skis at Wildcat. Had I done so, I would have paid more than double for skis of equal or lesser quality. Heavens was right across the street from the gas station where I picked up an early morning breakfast sandwich and on the way to and from the Mountain. They were friendly and I got in before a big rush. The only downside is that they dont have a lot of different options in terms of ski lengths. I ended up getting 160's, which were a little bit too long for a beginner like myself. You can snag some shorter ones if you get there early enough. You can bring the skis back the following morning (by 8-9am) so don't worry about that. I would definitely rent skis here again when I go back to Wildcast or Attitash. read more

I did rent ski from them few times. Im always happy with their rental ski until few weeks ago. They got new kind ski more wide than old kind ski. I wasn't happy cuz I rather older kind ski. But I was still ski able through the day. When I return the ski, They asked me how its was and I say okay I'm not happy with newer ski. I told them I rather older ski. The owner did get the older ski that I like it. I say should have rent that. I not realize they do have older ski to rental only $20 bucks. I told to owner that I have used ski that I just bought but not have ski boot. He offer me ski boots for FREE. I was like FREE? I said it twice, the owner say yes yes. He is awesome! Also when you walk in and very easy process to rental ski. I will say take you 10 to 15 mins to fill out form, try on the boots, and pick the ski then leave. That's best part. If you rental at ski resort, its will take forever and waste your morning at ski resort. I will high recommend you rental ski or snowboard at Heaven rental ski place! read more

This place is great for renting equipment! I reserved and paid for the ski package for me and my wife ahead of time. When we got there, all I had to do was show them the printed out receipt and they got us the skis, boots, and poles right away. The boots fit perfectly so we didn't have to spend time trying on other pairs. There was only one other pair of customers in the shop and everyone was socially distanced and wore masks. The two workers were very courteous and got us in and out very quickly. The equipment was very new and the skis worked great on the slopes. The return process was just as easy. The price was extremely reasonable at $15 per day per person. I'd highly recommend this place!!! read more

You just can't beat the service and price of Heavens. No, the price you see listed is not a trick. For 12$ a day you can get your boots (mine fit perfect and were far better than those I had gotten previously at the mountain rental places), skis, and poles. For 20$ you can get a snowboard instead if you are a rider. I was stunned by the fact that I got in and out on a Saturday morning in about 20 minutes (including filling out the rental agreement). The staff was all very friendly, helpful, and made the rental experience both quick and easy. They have junior skis for the kiddies for only 8$. I will definitely be back until the day I finally buy my own skis. As previously mentioned, it is right easy to find. Just look for the ski shop located right next to the gas station. I know that you get what you pay for, and when I came here I expected old, battered rentals for $15. And I'm ok with that. As a matter of fact, my partner's boots fit that description, and if that was our only issue, I would have written a completely different review. Unfortunately, that's not the case. To qualify my experience: I am comfortable as an intermediate skier. I have rented from a variety of places. And, I have skied the often-icy slopes of Attitash before. The skis I had today were dangerous. I could barely get an edge in regular snow. I fell over standing still while on more icy terrain. Any time I hit any ice, the skis would completely slide out from under me. Let's just say I spent the better part of the day on my butt. When I returned the skis the guy who helped me was pretty empathetic. The owner, who was talking to someone who had the same problem as me, didn't seem to care. He never looked at me, never apologized, and never acknowledged what happened. He also didn't seem that concerned about the woman he was helping. Thankfully, the man helping me took one look at the owner and slid $15 out of the register to refund me. And that's the only reason they get 2/5 stars. read more
