I called Josh about refrigerator at a rental property, he showed up the same day and supposedly fixed the problem. the same issue happened two weeks later, and he promised to come and check it out. I later found out that he "fixed" the defrost heater and didn't replace it which cots $17 at Amazon. he never showed up. Thriw away the appliance and don't call Josh. read more

I have been using Josh since he has taken over the company. I have had several properties where he has done work. He shows up when he says. He has communicated well. He has always fixed my issue and has always been fair in his pricing. I recommend him to fellow landlords and friends. Where other appliance service providers will take a week to schedule, he will normally be able to schedule me same day for an emergency (he has come after business hours), or next day. read more

Never ever call Joshua or Dennison Appliance even if they're the last people on earth. They are thieves and con artists. They will tell you that you need a part for your appliance then ask for money so they can order it or go get it then after you give him your money you will never see him again. I would rate this company with a sub-zero if the rating was available. I called him to fix my washer. He came three hours later than scheduled. Did not fix my washer. Started stripping parts off my washer. Told me that he has a used washer that he could sell me for $250. He brought it over in the back of his car and installed it, it partially worked and because it was so late, he said that he would be back to fix it the next day. After numerous calls and text messages, he never showed up and is now not returning my calls or text messages. So now I have two broken washers in my basement. This company was sold a few years back and the new owner tried to rip me off for gas money and over charged me for service call and repairs at that time the original owner still had the company so when he retired Josh took over. Luckily the prior owner was still there and I called him and he was shock and reimbursed me back the extra charge. The original owner was the best and when out of his way to get the job done great man. when he retired I stopped using Denison Appliance. read more

I originally was dealing with the original owner--a very nice man by the name of Dwayne. He gave the business over to a young man named Josh who at the time was very dependable. I passed his name along to numerous others-- no problems. I called to gave him repair my daughter's 3 year old Maytag but have had nothing but excuses about returning to complete the job. Josh took money from us, ordered the wrong part, came back a week later to tell me it was the wrong part, proceeded to say the unit needed more parts on the third trip, Tells his customers he's struggling with my unit, so I kicked him out. Made a service call today, the gentleman came and replaced the part needed for my dryer he was quick, professional, and efficient.

Denison appliance is the worst company. Do not have them come work at your house.i had josh come look at my refridgerator whick is 5 years old. He had me order the part which he said was the problem. He put the part in still didnt work than he tells me 2 scrap the fridegerator that its junk. I paid $5000 for it. So i call another company out the guy puts a board into the fridge amd its starts up 2 find out josh put a hole in the fridgeration line amd let all the freon out it. Tried calling josh several times 2 make it right he blows me off tells me he will b out tomorrow !! Now i try 2 call him amd he blocked my phone # ! What kind of business does he run. Terrible !! The only reason I am giving this review 1 star is because I am unable to give zero stars. Josh from Denison Appliance repair is an unprofessional individual who half-fixed our washing machine, promising to return the next day to finish the job. Since then he has been ignoring phone calls and texts. We have a washer that runs no better than before and are out more than $200. He also requested the check payment to be addressed to him instead of the company which was highly suspicious. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY/INDIVIDUAL. read more

Great guy!! Josh has come to my house multiple times and has fix more then one of my appliances. Hes a very reasonable guy!! Also very reasonable with prices!! always fixes Them and the best part about it he does not charge a lot like most serice places! He knows what the problem is as soon as he sees the Machines. VERY shady company! I should have listened to my instincts. Josh said he took over the business from Dwyane (who was awesome and I had used several times) when he retired, and that he had worked with Dwayne for 10 years. My dryer wasn't heating, he told me it was an easy fix so I had him come out. I had never seen him with Dwayne before or I would have remembered him. (I remember another guy but not his name. I actually told Josh that. He told me that at 79 years old Dwayne had found "the love of his life" and retired.) He took my dryer apart and tells me it wasn't what he thought it was and had to order a part. When that part arrived another part "accidently" broke when he was trying to replace the new part, saying it happens because the dryer is so old. Yep, I had to order yet another part. That part arrives, he comes over to finish the job, very late at night on Friday. I hear the dryer running and it is louder than it ever sounded before, and I do mean LOUD. He tells me it is because of the new motor. That didn't make sense to me but he assured me it would eventually get quieter. Foolish me, since I heard the dryer running I didn't check to see if it was actually working. Just after he left I went to put a load of clothes in to dry. As I was doing that I found one of the feet from the dryer was left lying next to it and the dryer actually tipped over when I opened the door to put the load in, UGH! Then the dryer was running for a very long time so I went to check...yep you got it...the dryer STILL WASN'T heating. I called him the next day, Saturday, and he was rude telling me "it was working when we left". He was angry because I told him not to cash the check I wrote. He told me he was out of town and couldn't come to look at it. Several texts and many excuses later it is now Wednesday and my dryer still hasn't been fixed. A little too late but I did some calling around and found out that Dwayne had actually passed away and that a man named Jim had taken over the company. SO basically I am out of $258, at a time I really can't afford it, which I had told Josh, and still no dryer. Save yourself from all of the aggravation and money I went through and don't use this company. read more
