I had to wait three weeks the person who works on them only works part-time. Picked the lawnmower up on 05/15/2026 go to start the lawnmower the next day it does not start. Take it back while repairman is there. He tells me water is lawnmower form the gas. The gas was just put in the lawnmower! They start the lawnmower I check it out and it's running. I take it home and mow the lawn. Two weeks later the lawnmower does not start. I was told to bring it back to them the next day at 12pm. The repairman will be there tomorrow. He does not come in that day. However, Friday they call me your lawnmower is fixed. I asked what was wrong. The repairman is gone. I go to mow the lawn 2 weeks later and guess what? Lawn mower does not work! I call and the person says it was working when you left. It was running. I told him it's doing the same thing that it was doing for me to bring it in to get it repaired. He then tells me I am doing something wrong. How...I asked? I pump and pulled. Employee: It started when you left here. Me: 3 times it started and 3 times it stopped. He told me to bring it back. I'd rather not. I'll take it someplace where people know what they are doing. Are not nonchalant about the service after they get my money and the repair man works regularly and is not rude. Also, everyone who was coming to pick up something it was the carburetor. I don't care what was being repaired. Power Washer(carburetor) every lawnmower( carburetor) it didn't make sense. Never will they fix anything else of mines.

We couldn't do same day, so we met the following morning. Just as hoped, the guy kept it straightforward, honest, helpful and as described. A little context: Originally Sears was out (yes, they still exist). Having repaired a few refrigerators, garage doors and operator control boards myself over the years, I knew things weren't right with these Sears guys (yes, plural -- well, one in training, poor sod). They weren't dishonest, really, just excessive. Especially with cost (...pretty obviously constrained by dinosaur policy -- what felt geared towards getting a fleeced customer to buy a new appliance from Sears). The Sears guys estimated a four-figure two-man project, including for two off-the-shelf generic machine screws, $37 each, parts only. (Still had to pay them for coming out.) Bless their little hearts. I can see how people get bamboozed by this blue-shirted Sears "professionalism". Hearing good things, I contacted Daniil. And in a little more than a day, paid an eighth of the price for way more, better, no-nonsense, good natured, in-and-out service. With warranty. (Sears' job was to be "As-is" for an older-ish appliance in excellent condition.) We're grateful, Daniil -

He was back 2 days later with the replacement part to repair our dishwasher. Service was fast, professional, and reasonably priced for the quality of work provided.

    AVOID MR. APPLIANCE! Trust the Yelp Reviews! Unfortunately, I called Mr. Appliance Cleveland to…read morerepair my refrigerator starter and capacitor... which based on research I understood to actually be a simple DIY for anyone not afraid to open the panel on the back of the fridge... but I wouldn't dare...and also aware that the parts were very inexpensive, I figured if it was that simple, it shouldn't cost much and took a chance with "neighborly" Mr. Appliance Cleveland because reviews, their website and friendly staff made me feel safe that I wouldn't get gouged. Wrong. The tech spent 10 minutes behind the fridge on the phone with Frigidaire to diagnose then gave me an electronic invoice for $260 labor for a job that takes less than 30 minutes and $247.80 for parts that were $130 in total online for the most expensive OAM parts (they were much cheaper on Amazon, but for the purpose of my discontentment, I'm sharing the most expensive costs I could find at any retailer). Because I decided to decline after questioning the invoice details, I was on the hook for $199 diagnostic fee + $20 restocking fee for the parts. Naturally, I don't want to give them $220 for a 10 minute visit, and I need the repair but don't have time for additional research to find a more honest company at this point, so I will pay them to do the work, but will NEVER refer anyone or use that business again. Read the Yelp reviews and you will find that my experience is not unusual. Correction. The charge was $548 and the technician was there for 10 minutes.
