I just love her style - she's very REAL and spends time talking with you about both your medical issue and life in general. She was very sympathetic to my financial situation when I was seeing her (unemployed and without insurance) and always went out of her way to ensure that my costs would be as low as possible. My only regret is that once I became employed again my only option was Kaiser and I couldn't continue to see Kim for my medical needs. I HIGHLY recommend this practice, and Kim Kinder in particular.

This doctor did not show any interest at all nor concern about what basic symptoms I was experiencing. He was curt and just quickly rushed me out of his office with 2 business card referrals for me to consult. I am African American - My wife is Asian, and had a similar experience. He made her wait for an hour and a half as he spent time having a lengthy conversation with his preferred patient. He was well aware of her presence in the next room. She decided to leave the doc's office, filed a complained and re-scheduled. This doctor's 'bedside' manners are despicable and unacceptable. He displays preferential personal affable treatment when his patients are either white or one where he has probably had prior close personal relations with them either culturally or socially (in our opinion). His 'bedside manners' with African patients (or people of color) in particular were particularly deficient and brisk, with barely any follow-through medical attention or concern. I always feel rushed like it's a 'waste of time' for him or his practice. I am quitting their practice - I decry Motamedi's prejudicial practices (I daresay 'bigoted' even) and will find another medical provider.

They ran a bunch of tests and was diagnosed with a blood pressure issue. They told me to see my GP for medications and recommendations. Motamedi told me there was no reason I needed to be there and the only time low pressure is dangerous is when it hits 0/0. I stopped going to him and went to another doctor who took it very seriously and referred me to a cardiologist. I was prescriped medications and things have been controlled. Did I mention he was eating soup during my appointment??? And YES you wait forever and all they want to do is go over the medications and supplements over and over again! I was leaving the office and they wanted me to repeat it all by filling out a form. NO WAY!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Unfortunately, his office staff sets the gold standard for incompetence, rudeness, and general discord. They cannot get anything straight, lose appointments, do not return calls, and have horrible manners. It took me 3 days of repeated phone calls to get them to get me a referral. Each time I called they had messes some other aspect of it up. The other problem is that the office is only open a few hours a day. The do not open until around 10:00am (sometimes later) and then close for lunch at noon. They reopen sometime after 1:30, but sometimes as late as 2:00 or 2:30. Then they close at 4:00. I *swear* I am not exaggerating! While this must be very nice for the staff, it makes it very hard to get an appointment, or even reach someone on the phone. So...in short, great doctor, but everything else about going there is pure hell.

If switching locations she doesn't always have the patient record and more critically made an error regarding prescriptions due to a lack of electronic records. Her office staff are rude and nasty creating a barrier between patient and doctor, refusing to pass on messages (and Dr Jackson doesn't have a portal or email). Although she has voicemail her office staff won't put you through to it. Had office staff been better and more accommodating we would have stayed wither her; however they made it impossible. Dr Jackson would do well to hire competent and compassionate staff and become modernized. That said she really is an excellent diagnostician and listens well. So I would recommend her only if you didn't need to see a doctor more than once or twice a year.

Has a calming demeanor. Does not treat patients like a number but asks AND REMEMBERS individual life events. My family used to go to his office in Mt Airy but closed it a few years ago. We felt so comfortable with Dr. Harding that we decided to follow him to the Olney office which is 30 minutes away. I do agree with the other reviewer, to a degree, that Dr. Harding is quick to prescribe medicine that sometimes treats the symptoms and not always the root cause. This may be an overly-compassionate desire to relieve discomfort in his patients. In any case, I believe everyone has to be their own health care advocate by asking lots of questions or have someone to act in that capacity. I was impressed to learn that Dr. Harding shares his time and talents with others who are less fortunate by financing his own mission trips abroad to assist patients in under-privileged countries who cannot afford or do not have access to modern health care. This speaks volumes to his compassion. My only other complaint is that I cannot remember the offices hours which are consistent week to week but not standard day-to-day -- but that is my issue as I cannot instantly the office hours for any given day but instead have to reference it. We were called several times for different tasks (bloodwork, X-rays, ct scans). Every nurse and doctor attending my mom was gentle and kind. We were admitted to a room where again, the nurse was exceptional. The room was clean and again, the whole area was very calm and quiet. Our nurse was Nurse Cheryl. Our doctor was Dr. Eric and he was absolutely wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about him. He answered all our questions and attempted to speak Spanish to my mom as well. I have been trying to schedule a cardiology appointment for the past 10 days. Each time I call, the…read moreautomated system puts me on hold for about 10 minutes with music and service announcements, and then the call disconnects. There is no option to reach a live person, and it has become extremely difficult to speak with anyone or make an appointment. Frankly, the current phone system is worse than what existed 20 years ago--at least then you reached a real person or received a busy signal. This experience is unacceptable for a medical facility, especially for cardiology where timely care matters.
