Shadow helped me and my mom with our makeup and hair on my wedding day. About 9 months before the big day, I met up with Shadow once and knew right away she's the one I want to hire. She's not only accommodating and super nice, for an indecisive bride like me, her consultation really helped me tackle down what style I want to go for on my big day. Not to mention her price is super reasonable. I listened to Shadow's suggestion, grew out my hair (I had shorter hair when I met up with Shadow) and dyed my hair to a lighter color just before the wedding day (she said it'll make the braiding of hair much more lively and natural looking). The end result, man, I cannot say more, it's just exactly what I pictured myself to look like on the most important day of my life! Shadow changed my hairstyle three times throughout the day and helped me changed into two different outfits. The hair/makeup matched my outfits perfectly. She is so efficient, professional, and calm, which is extremely helpful since I was so nervous on the day. I even forgot my bouquet in the dressing room right before I needed to walk down the aisle, it was Shadow, who is a tiny little girl wearing booties with heels, ran across the hotel hallway in lightning speed, all the way to the dressing room, grabbed my bouquet, and ran all the way back to me, made it just on time before I stepped out on the aisle! From this, I know she's not just a makeup and hair artist, she genuinely cares about each and every single one of her customer, and does whatever it takes to make their big day the most perfect day of their life! Please check out her webpage for all the amazing pictures and I just cannot recommend her enough! Not to mention a side bonus that Shadow is super cute and pretty, which will make your getting ready photos 100 times better

Koko arrived super early at the bride's house and finished all three of us (bridesmaids) makeups and hair! Before she started the makeup, she discussed with me regarding the styles and few heads up instead of moving forward without my opinions. She's delightful to work with! During the process, she also patiently explained her choices of the makeup products to better suit my skin and style :) She also responded well to spontaneous requests and concerns! I told her that my hair is soft and thin so it's hard to create a "full volume" look. She immediately addressed the issue, creating a very beautiful hair style for me :) I would recommend Koko to everyone who is looking for a makeup artist who listens, cooperates and is skillful and pleasant to work with ;)

From the beginning, Pace was communicative and clear about what she needed from me to understand my vision. The hair and makeup trial was such a great experience - I felt comfortable throughout, and it was clear that she was being thoughtful and intentional about understanding what I liked (and didn't like) about the looks we tried. Pace was punctual for every session, and the hair and makeup on the actual event days aligned beautifully with what we discussed and worked through during the trial. She was open, listened to my feedback, and made me feel like I could really trust her to bring my vision to life. She gave me exactly the look I was hoping for: natural, but elevated and polished. And the hair and makeup stayed completely intact throughout both events, which was especially impressive given how warm it was! I'm so glad I found Pace and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for hair and makeup for a wedding or special event. She's talented, thoughtful, communicative, and just genuinely wonderful to work with.

The salon is very clean and all employees are friendly and professional. When you're driving by the salon, it can appear to be closed, but it is open throughout the day, and they even opened up super early on a Sunday so I could get my makeup done for graduation. There is street parking along the side street and your car will be safe. When you're getting your makeup done here, you're their main priority - unlike when you go to the mall to get their makeup done and they stop a few times throughout your appointment to cater to others or push products on you that you won't even know how to apply right when you get home. The makeup they use lasts all day (I had it on from 7am-12midnight) and it still looked flawless at night even though I was out in the sun in June all day! Before booking an appointment to get my hair done, I stopped by one afternoon to show Jasmin my hair. At this consult she told me what she would have to do, how long it would take and a quote. I gave her my hectic availability and she was able to book me an appointment the following week! During my appointment, Jasmin explained each step and why she had to do something a particular way and how long each product would be in my hair. She also explained that every final result differs on the hair. I really appreciated this because never in my journey was I nervous or expecting a result that was not realistic for one session. When my hair was finished, it felt and looked so healthy! I opted to have Jasmin use the oil in my hair that she recommended to help my hair after being bleached. I have gotten my hair bleached at other salons before but was left with dry, brittle and easy to break off. Its been over a month and it still is healthy and soft feeling! She also cares about hair health because she recommended a lengthly gap (8-10 weeks) before coming in to do a lighter shade of balayage. I really appreciate this about her. She also suggested products that I should use to maintain the color, but wasn't pushy about selling her products. If you follow the salon on instagram you'll see what amazing work they do!

HIRE KRISTEN FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY!!…read more I met Kristen in October 2023 when she was the hair stylist for my sister's wedding. I immediately liked her as she was a delight, fun and made all five of us (bride, moms and sisters) look gorgeous! Since I am not well versed in hair or makeup, seeing Kristen's work previously and overall vibe made her a shoe-in for my wedding day! I had a vision, I changed my mind, I was unsure, then changed my mind again - Kristen was there the entire way. She also recommended a makeup artist which took a huge weight off my shoulders. During the trial she was able to take a look at my hair, understand my needs and got to work. She is so experienced and made me feel like anything we wanted to achieve was possible. It sure was! She suggested adding extensions to my hair (something I never thought about) and it changed my whole look! On the day of the wedding, she and the makeup artist arrived early, enthusiastic and ready to go! There were five of us getting ready (bride, moms and bridesmaids) and Kristen brought a light-hearted energy to the day which helped put all of us at ease. We all have different hairstyles and hair types and it was no problem. She kept checking to make sure everything was perfect for each of us - and it was. When it was my turn, she showed me the extensions which she dyed PERFECTLY to match my natural summer color. I couldn't believe it. I was so impressed. I felt so glamorous and my hair and makeup lasted the entire night! On a wedding day or special occasion, delivering something excellent is expected but it's also the little things that are important. It was such a pleasure to have her part of my morning. She made us laugh and feel relaxed. She was ready and game for anything we were doing and/or thinking about. She felt like one of the girls! She was constantly giving touch-ups and checking on us until the final moments. I felt like a movie star and so so special. I couldn't have asked for more. HIRE HER NOW!
