I do come here for my girls(hens) necessities regularly.... What I observed the other day was…read moredisheartening to say the least, going out to see what hens they had.... To my surprise there was a dead chicken in a small cage with flies already accumulating, getting stepped on by the roomie hen who was visibly .... Stressed......The other cages, had NO WATER except for the cages which had no chickens inside... outside in 100 degree with no water, every single chicken was heavily mouth breathing visibly struggling.... I do understand things happen, I do understand the heat here is very very hard on the animals, but that was just pure negligence. Please do better for the welfare of the animals...... I know that your very sweet elderly dog wouldn't be left outside WITHOUT ACCESS TO WATER in these conditions, please know this is not an attack on your business, it was just very hard to witness such cruelty to the animals.

Plenty of workers on the floor and at the register. The selection on, well everything was impressive. It was really nice to explore the old school hardware store, verses the big box stores. The value is evident considering how many customers were regulars, addressing each other by their first names. It was well worth the 30 minute drive, how's that for value.

Best nursery around!…read more 3 specific things: 1-We bought a tree here and a tree from a large/corporate home store (the blue one, not the orange one). The same age/size tree and planted at the same time. The one we bought from the Greenery is taller and the truck is wider and just looks overall better, despite them starting at the same size. The price difference was minimal and I wish we bought both trees from the Greenery. Because of this, we came back to buy more trees, despite the price being a little higher. The overall value is a lot better considering we picked up professionally cared for trees by knowledgeable people (versus a random big box store clerk who didn't know much about the trees). 2-Everyone here is super friendly, goes out of their way to stop what they are doing to offer to help and carry things. Think, normal customer service, but extra caring and thoughtful and nice. 3- Shout out to Alex specifically who took his time to answer a bunch of tree questions on multiple visits. Very knowledgeable about the trees, the planting and care, good tips, other helpful products, and store policies/services. Great guy! Thanks The Greenery!

Outstanding Service from Consultation to Installation!…read more We had a fantastic experience with The Greenery Nursery and Garden Shop. Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. Jay gave us an excellent consultation and recommended the perfect plants for our flower beds, which get full sun. His plant knowledge took all the guesswork out of what would survive in our yard. Martin handled the installation and did a phenomenal job planting everything and setting up a drip line irrigation system. He was thorough, professional, and left the workspace clean. Highly recommend The Greenery and Garden Shop, as well as this team for both their expertise and execution!
