R.E.L.I.E.F, Inc. is an incredibly ethical organization. I have personally observed that each…read moreperson's donation goes directly into the program of their choice. That said, I am very excited to be involved with Relief's efforts to not only help the impoverished in Liberia, but to educate women and children so that they are able to provide for themselves in the future. There are currently a number of programs in place that really need funding. WOW is the Women Of Worth program. This program provides scholarships for women's trade education. The KIS program is Kids In School and it provides children with education, so important in a country that is basically starting over with very little infrastructure. The global leadership training program based in California also needs support. Relief ships donations of food, clothing and medical items to Liberia and is seeking like items. Relief creates global leaders of tomorrow with their youth leadership training programs based in California. They are also active in their US home base, delivering much needed food and toys during the holiday season. I encourage you to support this fantastic organization led by selfless, dedicated people of integrity.

This is perhaps one of the best companies that addresses Seniors in our Modesto Community. The…read morestaff and the leadership have a very clear focus on helping Seniors get the "movement" and the support that they need with exercise and nutrition programs. I have no association with this group, except that I so appreciate the things they are doing for people in Modesto. That's how I have to begin because this non-profit organization continues to give 110% to senior citizens in our community and they do it so well! I've attended the major events that they put on each year for a couple of years. The Age of Movement in May and their Healthy Aging Summit in October at the Center Plaza. This brings senior citizens, like me, together, and educate them, offer free services from vendors attending the shows, and always with the idea of bringing awareness to our community and love to our seniors. The management staff have done a remarkable job of keeping programs and activities for us going, despite many cuts in programs throughout our county. They have a limited staff, but they pull volunteers together for their big events, from those that just love what they're doing and want to help. If you don't know about this group, get to know them. Research them on Google, and get involved with them. They are one of our city's treasures. By getting involved you'll also get "back into action" and into health too. Thank you so very much Healthy Aging Assn. You guys rock! :-) healthyagingassociation..

All I can say is, "Wow!"…read more After recently relocating to Modesto, I was in search for local mosques in the area. After visiting a few times for Jummah, I was very impressed with the friendliness of the community along with the support they offer through many different programs for the youth. The khutbah led by Mufti Nabeel Ur Rahman was inspiring and uplifting, many elements I miss about the Bay Area Mosques. Their commitment to newly resettled refugees in this area was very unique to the rest of California. I would highly recommend this mosque if you are looking for adult nightly classes on Tafsir & Seerah. Also, the many Saturday options of programs for the community to participate in is a real bonus. Don't forget the Islamic Studies and Qur'an classes for kids. In conclusion, our family will now be part of the CVC family. This is truly a hidden gem in Modesto!
