I'd like to share my great experience using Den Defenders, as I recently had a security door installed by them in November of 2024. When I began my search for a security door install company, it was quite difficult, because I live in Vallejo, and I didn't see many reputable options. I eventually stumbled upon Den Defenders during my search, and after doing some research on them, and seeing lots of positive reviews, I decided to call, and schedule an appointment with them. For my initial consultation appointment, I was set up with their awesome employee Mike Carson. Mike was the best to work with, as he was a very professional individual, who seemed quite knowledgeable about the products, and services that Den Defenders offered. Mike helped me find the perfect solution for my home, and family's needs, as we needed a door that would allow more airflow into Our home for the hot summers, while keeping out insects, and also being very secure, so that we can sleep without worry of any intruders entering our home. Mike recommended the Viewguard security door, as it appeared to meet all of my family's needs. After Mike educated us on the door, its quality, and its features, We were sold, so we ordered one, and set up an appointment for the install date. When it was install day, My family was very excited, because when we first seen the door, it looked like a very high-quality, and sturdy unit. The install took about a few hours, as my home needed some stucco modification for the door to fit, but the Den Defenders crew had all of the tools/ equipment to get the job done, and they even kept the area clean as they worked, which was a huge relief, and very professional on their part. I'd like to point out that I couldn't be more happier, and satisfied with my purchase, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the market for a high-quality security door installation. Before ending my review, I'd like to personally say a big thank you to Mike Carson for setting everything up, and ensuring a very satisfactory experience for me, and my family. Anthony arrived on-time (a little early even) for the appointment. He introduced himself and showed company credentials (though the logo covered truck was also a giveaway) before confirming the work that was going to be done. Inspected the chimney and cap on the roof and pointed-out some areas of potential concern for standing water around the enclosure (done incorrectly by original home builder). Prior to entering the house, he placed covers over his shoes to avoid tracking anything into the residence. Anthony took care to clear items from around the fireplace area and shield the area to avoid excess soot from spilling out. Fireplace was inspected with a live camera, and he showed the ideo feed while explaining the entire process. Inspection was thorough, and he answered all questions we asked of him. Appreciated the walk through of the inspection report along with the explanation of proposed repairs. Very professional and courteous. We had used another company to repair our gas fireplace a few months back. The technician was out 3x changing out parts etc. and never did fix it. I called Den Defenders after reading reviews and hoping for the best. An appointment was scheduled and confirmed via text & e-mail. The technician (LaMont) showed up as scheduled. He impressed us right off the bat by wearing booties over his shoes, placing a blanket around the work area to protect the carpet and parking on the street until we gave him permission to park in our driveway. LaMont was on it. He impressed us with his knowledge and enthusiasm. He was able to fix the problem within one hour. LaMont even suggested that we make a video to remember some hints that he showed us in operating our gas fireplace. LaMont showed us a battery back-up for when the power goes out. Today I had Mike's Chimney Service come out to my home. My gas chimney didn't work after 14 years. The representative who came out named Anthony Wilkie took pictures of my chimney in my home and on my roof and got up on my roof with ease. He carefully explained every detail of my chimney, circled pictures of what was wrong with some of the worn out parts, vacuumed after he was finished, cleaned the glass, and told me in advance the price (and they did on the phone before he came also ), so I would know if I could afford them), worked fast and efficiently! My family has been using Mike's Mobile for years now to repair all the window screens on our homes. I recommend the solar screen, you can really tell the difference as soon as they put it up! I thought it was going to make my house dark inside, but I left them up all winter and it wasn't even noticeable. They dramatically lowered our electricity bill last summer, but most importantly our house is just way more comfortable. He gave a courtesy heads up when he was on his way, was personable and polite in our home, got our fireplace working in prime condition!! He is a 5 star employee for sure. The 4 star rating is simply for my personal issue with the extremely high installation price the company puts on a less than one minute part replacement. We could not have asked for a more competent estimator or installer for our security window screen and beautiful security side door. Twice now three little thugs broke into our home via upstairs bedroom windows (while we were at home, no less). The first time they broke the sliding glass door & screen and stole one of my jewelry boxes; Mike's Mobile came right out and fixed the screen door; then, a month or so later the little buggers came back and broke the adjoining bedroom screen frame & screening - again, while we were still at home, downstairs! It got so that I was afraid to get undressed upstairs for fear that I'd run into them! Anyway, Clifford (our wonderful installer) replaced the upstairs window screen - no one will EVER break into that again! And he also installed a beautiful new Security Door that leads out to our driveway...and no one will EVER break into that! We can't recommend Mike's Mobile enough.
