My Pork Banh Mi sandwich was very tasty. Great bread. Lots of flavor. I would Highly recommend. The spring rolls were fresh. The sauce was good. The veggies had nice crunch. This was the first time I had Bubble anything. I had a Bubble Mocha. The bubbles were fun to chew on. The flavor was decent. But I wouldn't think it would wake me up in any sense. The restaurant could have been cleaner. It was pretty small and seemed busy. But some tlc would spruce it up. Service was kind and with a smile. Food came up in about 20 minutes. If you are getting takeout, I would recommend calling in your order. Worth the money. 4/5 read more

I found out that this had opened recently and is only about 2 miles from my house. I love bubble tea, so I was happy to find this place so close to me. It's an adorable, very clean, little place with seating inside and out. There is off street parking on the side or in the back of the building. Service was super friendly and the menu was not too big, which I liked, since it wasn't too overwhelming for newcomers to Vietnamese food. I tried the Taro Tea based upon a reviewer that commented on how good it is. Don't get me wrong -- it is good -- and it's my favorite color :) But best way to describe the taste is...did you ever drink the milk after eating a bowl of fruit loops??!! That's kind of what it tastes like! Sweet and creamy. I didn't try any of the food here but when walking by the patrons that were siting outside, their food looked amazing!! I will be back to try the Bahn Mi as I've never had one before. Prices are reasonable as well. read more

The small menu of just the classics and favorites was expertly chosen and executed. We had both kinds of Spring rolls. You get two per order. The cold spring rolls have sliced pork and shrimp inside. They're served with a dark, tasty peanut sauce that was good on its own but better with the addition of sriracha. The crispy rolls were delicious. No commentary, just delicious. I also had a mango bubble tea with added lychee poppers. It's playful and sweet. I love a beverage that I have to chew. I had a grilled pork bahn mi. The bread was amazing. I was taken aback that the pork was some kind of patty or sausage but it was tasty. My husband had a vermicelli bowl with the same grilled pork and he enjoyed it. read more

Took us a couple minutes to find the Vegetarian options (they were labeled: No Meat). Ok, that was fine. They serve these dishes with a fish sauce laden dipping sauce. No worries, there were sauces on the table. My Bahn Mi was tasty and filling. Coconut Milk Tea was a bit bland. Restaurant and bathroom need cleaning. Front door covered in dirt and grime. read more

The Boba shop was quaint (even though it looks a bit run down). I got myself a taro milk tea (which they made really fast). The level of sweetness was pretty good, not too sweet. However, the texture of the milk tasted as if it was a little heavy and a bit "slimy" (there isn't a better word to describe it). Overall, a pretty solid boba place. I would still probably go back again to try some pho over there. read more

If you are in the Harrisburg area and are looking for Boba this is the place to go! This is a great place to eat and get your boba needs! Will definitely be back! read more

This was my second experience at Den Bubble Tea, and I am sure at some point I will be back for a third! The boba tea here is quite good, with a variety of options. Specifically, the milk tea has been a little hit or miss. This trip, our Thai milk tea was excellent, however the taro tea was fairly milky and a little too dense. the strawberry tea pictured below was a nice change of pace and would recommend. Overall, the service here is quick and nice, however I would just like to see a little more consistency with the milk tea. If I could, I would give them a solid 3.5/5 rating, would recommend and will go again! read more

Overall: Impressed! Within the first week I found out about this new pho spot I went twice! The boba was that good. The tea has an authentic flavor with a good amount of sweetness, unsure if you can request different levels. The boba itself is definitely best on the east side of the river! Sweet and chewy and tastes fresh every time. I also had the chicken pho, I believe it was new at the time and honestly I didn't think it had a ton of flavor, but I'll definitely try the combo pho and banh mi soon! Parking : parking is plentiful in the back but watch out because there's a 1 way road back there where people don't really pay attention to other cars, the traffic in this area in general is bad because the roads get congested. I'd avoid eating here around rush hour to save yourself a lot of stress. read more

When I saw the "coming soon" sign for this, I immediately sent a text to my roommate (okay, I waited until I got to the stoplight, shush) OMG BUBBLE TEA SUPER CLOSE TO HOUSE WE'RE DOOMED. I drive the road now and then, but I began making it part of my routine as much as I could so that is know when it would be open. Well, despite my vigilant stalking, my roommate was the one who learned they were open first, and last night we went for food and tea and were NOT DISAPPOINTED. Yes, the menu is small, but the food was delicious. I just wanted snacky food and drinks: crispy spring rolls with the mango tea and tapioca pearls, and the Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Okay so I have a thing for textures, and it took a lot of convincing to get me to try Bubble Tea in the first place. I'm not a fan of tapioca in general, and specifically when something has inconsistent textures. Some places, you'll get soft ones, then one you have to really chew. Den's tapioca bubbles? All the same soft-barely-needed-chewing texture. I've no idea if this is how it's supposed to be done, but it's exactly how I like it. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely evening...it is a fairly busy street, so if you go during lunch or rush hour, sitting inside might be the better option. (The inside is super cute!) read more

Food: 2.5/5, Friendliness: 2/5 While I am Chinese-American, my parents were born and raised in Vietnam so they've exposed me quite a bit to Vietnamese cuisine. I'm also from Philly, so there are some good options there. I would say Den pales in comparison. I mean, they're not horrible but I would say they're not doing an amazing job representing Vietnamese cuisine either. We got the F1 (Goi cuon), two types of Banh Mis (F4, F13), and the vermicelli dish (F10). * Fresh spring rolls: The sauce was tasty but there wasn't anything really special about the rolls themselves. The texture was alright. 2.5/5 * Banh Mi: Bread was stale. Filling was minimal and bland. 2.0/5 * Vermicelli: Fried spring rolls was decent, but otherwise it was just alright. Will definitely fill you up if you're hungry, but for over $10, eh. 3/5 Friendliness: Umm... not really present. The guy on the phone when I called for pick up and then at the counter when I arrived always sounded and looked angry or upset. Maybe he was just having a bad day. It felt intimidating and unwelcoming. I was pretty excited to try this place because I've living in Central PA for the year and am on the hunt for good Asian food and as much as I would like to support local businesses, I feel like the service and the food are lacking. Hope I just caught them on a bad day. read more

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell. It hit my right in the face & I couldn't wait to order & get out. I couldn't identify the smell but my friend said it was moth balls. Really gross I couldn't stay in there. The outside of the place looks cute. The inside is nasty. I went to get a bubble tea with a friend. We both got a fruit bubble tea with fruit balls. I asked if it was non dairy & the woman said yes but I'm not too sure if it was non dairy or not. The juice balls were good, the tea not so much. The after taste of the tea was better than the actually taste & wasn't very flavorful or fruity. Couldn't even tell which fruit I got which was supposed to be mango. Disappointed & wouldn't be back ‍ read more

I saw that there was a new bubble tea place opening and was super excited to try! I went to try it since the grand opening was offering 20% off and was kind of disappointed. My favorite flavor bubble tea is Thai Tea so that's what I got and it didn't taste like Thai Tea at all. It tasted like sweet milk, but I guess it's because they use powdered stuff to make it. I also got jelly instead of boba and it was ok. The jelly was a little too sweet for my liking so next time I'll stick to the boba. I would want to go to try the food and probably a different bubble tea flavor. read more

FYI, check in coupon is no longer valid. Don't know why it's still active for use. Very tiny clean place, but would be crowded if there was more than 20 ppl at anytime. We ordered their (2) F6 pho, the F13 banh mi, (2) F2 eggrolls and D6 mango drink with lechee poppins. The pho was good, a little sweeter than what I prefer. The plate of herbs had plenty of jalapenos and freshly cut limes. Mostly high volume places have old cut lime and jalapenos. The egg rolls are good. The traditional vietnamese banh mi was very good, the roll was warm and on point, the meats the cilantro was fresh, I wished I had a bit more pâté. The mango drink was good but not the, the best places make them out of real fruit. It's this place is small, they have less beef pho options on their menu, I am suprised the have chicken and shrimp pho. read more

This place is the best like literally the food is delicious and the boba is out of this world I come here like every day, love it forever

Taste: Delicious bubble tea, subs, and spring rolls. The veggies are meat is all fresh and cooked to order. Price: If you get a large, the price per ounce of bubble tea that you get is better in comparison to all the other bubble tea places I've been to around the Harrisburg area. As for the food, $6 for a 6" sub with fresh veggies and/or cooked meat isn't too bad of a deal but could be cheaper. Same for the spring rolls, although those are even more expensive but you get more food by weight in comparison to the subs. Overall the price isn't too bad and it's a decent amount of food. read more

Anytime I see a short menu I know the food is going to be great. The pho broth was tasty and clear. The excess oil and meat fat had been clearly meticulously removed providing that crisp taste that allows the flavors like basil, cilantro and lemon to shine through. When I traveled in Vietnam this is what the street pho broth tasted like. More herbaceous and less greasy. The bowls admittedly are smaller then other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. But I'm trying to enjoy my food not leave feeling like a greasy sponge. The bubble tea is the best in the area. I'm spoiled by california bubble tea but this will definitely satisfy any craving. Finally, we were sitting outside and some wind blew away literally all our food. The staff was so worried, re-made all our food and tried to not charge us. Overall, friendly family-owned establishment, short and sweet and authentic menu, and a worthwhile visit. read more

Absolutely awesome. This is my first Yelp review, but I wanted to support this place. After spending a lot of time in Hawaii and LA, it can be hard to find really good Asian food in other places. This is the best boba I have found in the area. I had the Thai tea. It was very sweet (which I like) and after a half hour it still wasn't watered down and the tapioca was still soft. The pho was great. Service was very quick and friendly. I will absolutely be back. read more
