Milk tea with boba and green tea with poppers
Cindy J.

My son had a strawberry slushie with mango poppers. His first sip and he said 10 out of 10. The boba tea here is really good. I prefer the "poppers" that have a nice pop of fruit juice. This place does close at 7! We didn't realize and got here about 20 mins before close, but the staff were extremely accommodating and made our food really quickly. We sat on the couch in front of the windows while waiting. Great idea for a sitting area. The dumplings are so good, the skin is thin and so delicate. Will definitely come back!

So many different options for boba tea and milk teas. Dumplings were so good. I believe it's a new business and the staff was a great help with pick out tea. I would definitely be coming here again. CHECK THEM OUT.

Rice poke bowl with chicken (unmixed)
Lena M.

I ordered a small 16 oz boba milk tea and a rice poke bowl with chicken. Both were delicious! I hadn't had boba milk tea since before the pandemic and it was exactly as I remembered, satisfying to sate my craving. I just wish I'd gotten the large 24 oz one instead of the small! The rice poke bowl had great flavor, and it tasted very clean. Unlike some places, it wasn't drowned in the yum-yum sauce or house special sauce. That may be a con for some people, but for those wanting to appreciate the flavor of the food, it's much appreciated and the sauces were just enough to enhance the flavors. Don't be deceived by some of the pictures you may see, the serving is a lot bigger than it looks and could be split between 2 people if they want to try a few items, leftovers for a midnight snack or lunch the next day, or be a side order if one wishes to do takeout between a few places. Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity received. Ordering online is easy and user friendly. Clearly states what's in each dish, the price, and even recommends other products to add. A picture is even included with each dish which I believe is crucial for visualizers and to get potential customers salivating (I know that's part of what enticed me to order). When you enter Boba Sensi, pickup is on the wooden shelves/cubbies to the right when you walk in and requires no interaction if one wishes to get in and out quickly. The employees were nice enough to keep my boba milk tea in their fridge while they waited for me to pick it up. That shows the staff really do care about the customers and how their products are represented. The Hummelstown/Middletown area's not known to have a ton of diverse, international food, but Boba Sensei will surely be a hit as word gets around (especially with several schools and a university close by). I was inside for less than a minute, but heard the employees explaining their products and were clearly knowledgeable and friendly. Great place that's going places! For being in business a few months, it looks like it's doing well based on the number of customers coming and going and a welcome addition to the community. I will definitely be back to try the ramen bowl next and the other products!

This place would probably get more business if they had a neon sign. They have a faded sign and we…read morejust noticed it recently. Our usual go to boba place is Bon Bon Tea in Paxtang area, I believe, and that's far because we live near Linglestown. Bon Bon puts too much ice and I never thought to ask them to put less ice so over here you can order less ice, which makes your boba tea last longer. I ordered the Earl Grey tea and I loved it. I usually get Thai iced tea boba, but Earl Grey is so mild and smooth. My drink lasted an hour as I ate it with my shrimp spring rolls, which were healthy, good, and filling. Husband and son got the sandwiches and pork egg rolls. The sandwich bread was perfect. Not hard and from Giant like other local Viet places. The bread tasted fresh baked and was not super hard. We wish they had more sandwich options though. Anyhow, this is going to be our new Viet boba place. We are from northern VA where Vietnamese restaurants are all over the place so it's good to see more Viet places popping up in Central PA.

Drink- for $7-$9, I expect a lot more, and I grew up in a boba capital of the US (SoCal) so I think I've trained my taste pretty well. The flavor of the brown sugar was nice, but without tea, the milk mellowed it a little bit too much. I got half sweet which was a good idea otherwise it would be way too sweet. The boba were super disappointing. Tough/dry texture and no flavor. By the end of the drink they just tasted like dough, which leads me to believe the boba pearls aren't well made and the syrup they're in is doing all the heavy lifting. The combination banh mi was excellent! It's new for me to see the veggies packaged in a ziploc and paired with the warm sandwich, but I don't mind it. Great flavor and tasty bread. Would get again. Experience : Came in on a Tuesday at 1:30 and it was PACKED, loud, and hot. About 10-15 people waiting for drinks/food, cashier quoted 10-15mins for a drink and it turned out to be around 20, so not bad. There is a mandatory tip screen which I don't love. The private parking lot is a mess, I really hope the nearby strip mall parking is allowed or if there are any more than 5 cars it's a pain to go in / out. The ambience inside is quite nice and I can imagine it being a cute place to catch up with friends if you're lucky with your arrival and the crowd. I'll come back to try other drinks and absolutely for more sandwiches, but Harrisburg has a surplus of expensive yet mediocre bubble tea shops and so I hope they find their stride to improve drink and topping quality.

Found out it to the left once you exit boscov. Showed up & the guy was on the phone and didn't even say hello. Ordered the Thai milk tea with boba small size- $5.25 was no offered a receipt Tasted the drink and the boba was not well formed and mushy. The Thai tea it self was "ok" was not impressed. Overall I'd like how the place was very clean and they had fresh fruits laid out. Maybe they're better at smoothie stuff than bubble/ boba drink idk. But I know I shall not be returning here for boba ever again. The mall it self looked very run down and someone told me alot of the shops are going out of business. This was a pit stop for me on my way through the town and I didn't have the best experience.

This would be a go-to of mine for their Vanilla and Oreo Frozen Latte. It's basically a frappuccino but with more of an Asian, milky, and creamy vibe to it. Just yesterday I tried their bubble tea for the first time and it is bomb. I get that language barrier might be a bit of a problem with customer service, but they are still really nice and serve their drinks well. The prices are obviously great for the quality, and I believe they are underrated, especially for an area like Harrisburg where we don't have as much to offer tbh.

I really love popping Boba and was so excited to see that they have a few flavors. They did not have the strawberry milk tea or strawberry smoothie that is my usual go-to vessel for the strawberry poppers. I opted for a large wild berry smoothie with strawberry poppers and my fiancé got a large strawberry banana smoothie with strawberry poppers. The price point is excellent and cheaper than anywhere else we have been in PA! The drinks tasted super fresh and it is fun to watch them being made. We were there on opening day (5/28/22) so the line was really long, but it moved super quickly and everyone was so friendly! We will definitely be back! All of their menu items look delicious and we have a lot of other combinations that we want to try. The location is near Dave and Buster's on the side of the mall, near the food court. The Food Court entrance is the most convenient way to get here - just walk straight in and it'll be in front of you!
