Demming is absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend her enough. I called from the mainland to arrange a surprise for my son-in-law's birthday while he and my daughter were visiting Lahaina. Demming was incredibly helpful, responsive, and communicative, and the balloon bouquet she put together was a huge hit! Then I was working on an even more special surprise. My daughter and son-in-law are expecting their first baby, and I wanted to create a special gift that would also reveal the baby's gender. I had contacted a couple of stores directly without any luck, and even the resort gift shop wasn't able to help. So I called Demming, explained my idea, and asked if it was something she could possibly do. My idea was simple: an Aloha shirt for my son-in-law, along with a matching baby-sized shirt, so that when he opened the gift he would discover they were having a boy. Demming didn't just make it happen, she took my idea to an entirely different level! She did all the shopping, found the perfect Aloha shirt for my son-in-law, and then found an adorable baby outfit with little shorts to match. She creatively wrapped everything so that his shirt was on top, with the baby's outfit tucked underneath in tissue paper, along with the sweetest card that said, "Surprise! It's a boy!" And because it was also his birthday, she cleverly disguised the whole thing as a birthday present! What made this experience so special was Demming herself. From our very first conversation, I could tell that she genuinely cared about making this surprise wonderful. She was excited about the idea, enthusiastic about helping, and clearly wanted to make the moment just as special as I did. I was thousands of miles away on the mainland, but Demming made me feel like I had someone there who was personally invested in making this incredibly important family moment perfect. The surprise was absolutely fabulous, and I am so grateful to Demming for helping create such a special memory for my daughter and son-in-law. If you need someone in Lahaina who will go above and beyond, think creatively, and truly care about making your surprise special, call Demming. You will not be disappointed! read more

I would like to do a review for a small Lahaina business, Demmings Delivery. We have been coming to Kaanapali Beach in Maui since 1980 and usually do our own shopping. We discovered this grocery delivery service from the concierge at the Kaanapali Allii where we are staying for 10 glorious days. I checked with the concierge before we arrived whether there was a service available to stock some basic grocery necessities so they would be there when we arrived at our room. When I called I spoke with the owner Demming. She was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and as we discovered, knows her way around a grocery store! I texted her our order and she called to make sure that everything was correct before shopping. She was very flexible about adding more supplies and easy to work with. I must say that it was such a pleasure to walk into our condo and be able to pour a cold drink and have a snack. We did not have to go to the market until today when my husband wanted to select his own barbecue Ingredients. Demming got everything in our order right, it was carefully placed in the refrigerator or cupboard almost the way I would do it myself. I highly recommend this service for grocery deliveries. They service the Lahaina area and you can always call with any inquiries you might have. You will be communicating with a lovely person who wants to assist you however she can with your individual needs and order. Thank you Demming! It was a pleasure working with you! Seriously this was the best basket!! If you want to have something special delivered to someone in maui, this is the place! It was delivered (same day) to the Westin in Kaanapali. It was over the top! The recipients posted a video of it on their social media and everyone was blown away by it. If you want to really make someone's day, use Demmings. read more

We have used Demmings each time we go to Maui. We like the gift "basket" that is a small cooler. It is such a great thing to have for the beach & picnics. Our friends also used them and all of us were really happy with the service. I'll be ordering with them again this winter when we are back! read more

When my parents decided to run to Maui during the Mother's day weekend, I quickly started brainstorming how I'd surprise my Mom on this very special day. When I called the concierge at their resort, she quickly gave me Demming's #. I called, ONCE, Demming answered herself and directed me to her website - said it'd be easier to order what I wanted there. She had a 'no problem' attitude, which I really relieved me. I ordered a bouquet of Hawaiian flowers to be sent on Sunday, Mother's Day. Well, when my mom got home from whatever excursion she and dad were on, the bouquet was there on the table greeting (and surprising) her with an explosion of colors and beauty! She was THRILLED! (And I looked good! lol ) Thank you Demming, for being there, making it super easy for me to show my momma how much I love her. It made SUCH a difference! It took me all but 10 minutes to make my Mom's day. You're awesome D!!! I put my trust in you and you delivered . . . quite literally!! LOL Thank you!!! I'll post a picture that my mom sent me of her and her flowers . . . read more

I cannot say enough good things about Demming's Delivery! My Boss is vacationing in Maui for her Birthday. I wanted to surprise her with something special. I called the resort, and they transferred me to Demming. I was thinking a nice bottle of Champagne, and Demming gave me several ideas. I ended up choosing a gift basket with Champagne, two flutes and tropical flowers. All set. Or so we thought. As the resort has individually owned condo's, this particular one was hard to get a hold of the host. Demming went behind the scenes and above and beyond to make this happen. All the while making sure I didn't need to worry about a thing. She had this. The day of, there was one small hiccup (not her fault in any way), and she smoothed it out and the picture attached is the result. Gorgeous. My Boss was surprised and loved it! Demmings knowledge of the area and properties is incredible. Her bright, happy, no worries attitude is so amazing. And she backs it up. Had I known she does grocery delivery I would have set that up too. No one wants to grocery shop when they can be relaxing by the pool or laying on the beach. I 100% would recommend her services. Thank you Demming. I am already spreading the word to friends and family. You Rock!! read more

What a FABULOUS service and local owner! With just a day's notice, Demming helped arrange a welcome basket and lei delivery for our friend's 30th wedding anniversary. She knew exactly what to do/who to coordinate with so it was in their condo prior to their arrival - so it was a LOVELY surprise. She clearly knows the area and was super supportive and helpful, and made it SO EASY for us! What a lovely service and business owner who takes pride and joy in what they do! read more

I used Demmings Delivery for a birthday gift. My bro-in-law was in Hawaii on his birthday, so I ordered a gift basket in a soft sided cooler to be delivered to his room. It was delivered on time, and had everything described on the website. The only bummer is that it's stuff you can get from Costco, like the four cheese sampler, and stuff from Long's or any other store. Having more authentic foods, especially from local markets, like Star, would make it especially cool. Or at least have the option to choose for people who are more adventurous tasters. The company also can deliver balloons, cakes, flowers. You can fax a shopping list if you are in a condo, and they will deliver everything on your list to the condo, saving you a trip to the store as soon as you get in. You can choose for them to shop at Safeway, a gourmet store or an organic store. It's a 30 dollar minimum shopping fee, but if you prefer vacationing to shopping, this may work great for you. I just used the company for the delivery of the gift and was happy with it, but I just wish it had more local products that aren't so "touristy." Everybody can buy chocolate covered macademia nuts, how about something more interesting? read more

Amazing service. Sent a brief email one late night prior to my arrival, I received a prompt and courteous email stating everything will be arranged. Upon my arrival, at a rented villa, the food was put away and presented beautifully. Some gorgeous local bread, cheese and fruit included. Receipt left discreetly. Stellar service. P.s. My email was brief, my 10 year old self could of probably composed a more substantial message, it was literally "Need $100 worth of food (fruit too) delivered to ... ASAP". read more

I found Demming's on Yelp completely by accident while looking for a way to surprise my girlfriend at work with something nice delivered. I called up and got Demming herself, who was super helpful in coming up with a perfect idea for a gift. We decided on a Ukulele, a bottle of wine and some flowers, wrapped in a nice basket. I called in the purchase for the uke, she picked it up, created the basket and delivered it about 2 hours later. Unbelievable. She even kept me updated on the process and sent photos of the basket for approval! My lady loved it, and now we have all the essentials for a date and serenade once I fly in this week. Demmings Delivery service is awesome. Demming makes the process very easy and communicates very well. Changes are allowed up to a couple of days before your arrival. I know this sounds crazy, but arriving at our fully stocked condo after a long day of travel was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was put away, we had cold drinks in the fridge and could just relax and enjoy our condo. Not having to run to the grocery store was the best. We will be using this service for all of our future trips to Maui. Highly recommended! read more

Dependable and convenient service! We're traveling with kids so definitely did not want to stop by the store to pick up groceries!

I sent a gift to my family vacationing on Maui. The picnic cooler was well stocked with fresh fruits, snacks and sparkling cider, arrived chilled and made for a perfect for a beach picnic at sunset. Much more economical than ordering through the resort's amenity website for the amount of food received. Easy online ordering and excellent communication. read more

After a resort dropped the ball on delivering a basket to a friend of mine staying at that resort, Demming stepped in to make everything better. Her customer service alone is so wonderful and refreshing. Especially after the mishap with the resort's gift shop. Demming was so apologetic for a mistake that wasn't even hers and she went above and beyond just to make the situation better. I can't even express how appreciative I am. Thank you! If you are thinking about gifting a basket through a resort, please think again, don't hesitate to call Demming and as soon as you hear her kind voice and professionalism, you'll be happy you chose her for your gifting service. read more

I cannot say enough positive words about this business and their customer service! My girlfriend's parents decided to renew their vows while in Hawaii. It dawned on me at the last minute that I should send a gift basket. I reached out to Demmings and had a beautiful basket with champagne and chocolate covered macadamia nuts delivered in about an hour. It was beautifully wrapped, carefully put together, and delivered with amazing service. I was nervous about it getting there on time, what to write on the card, and if they would have the ability to make contact for delivery. I was not only put at ease but also contacted after it was delivered just to let me know all was well. If you need anything, Demming's is the place to go! read more

Demming was amazing! My parents went to Maui to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. I wanted to surprise them with something big. I called Demming, and she was so helpful. She let me create my own package that wasn't on the website. She suggested flowers and a room full of balloons (and even helped pick out the colors). I added chocolate covered strawberries, but my parents don't drink champagne, so I asked if she could give them sparkling cider instead. I ordered a delux fruit basket for a family that were visiting Maui for several days. It was not delivered on time (but partly because I forgot to put a unit number on the address. But I had to follow up with them 2 days later as my family did not receive it. They should have followed up with me if they noticed it was missing a unit #) The fruits in the basket was so hard, not nearly close to ripe.
