The day of service took 4 hours as expected, she gave me a very nice blow out but kept turning my chair away from the mirror which was odd, at the end she just took off my cape to check out, didn't show me the back or ask if I liked it and after 4 hours I was honestly dying to leave so I paid and left. After getting home I quickly realised my hair was fried at the ends with breakage in my bangs, the color was not a bayalage it was a partial foil with an ashy brown all over which covered the few foils she did. The next day I went to two other salons for a consult on what service was done on me and both said "partial foil with a very ashy toner" which was not what I paid for. The only reason for the 1 star is after contacting her she agreed to try and fix it, however, so much damage was done from her bleach I opted out and she fully reimbursed me. My word of advice is ask for specific pics of their work on the service your asking for and speak up if you feel something isn't right, I noticed 2 minutes into her starting my hair and wish I spoke up cause now I'm stuck repairing alot of hair damage.

I felt like she was rushing me out of the salon. I showed her a picture and told her how I would like my hair cut and did not end up with what I asked for. The stylist was cold, unresponsive, she talked with other people in the salon while cutting my hair and even stopping mid cut to have a conversation with some one. She didn't give a crap about my hair or my needs that day. She just wanted me out of her chair and out of the salon...or at least that is what it seemed like to me. I just didn't feel very welcome at all. Do yourself a favor and go to any of the other salons in Beverly. I know I will.

My trial went so good and I booked them as soon as I could. Laura created a wedding day timeline for us far in advance for hair and makeup which made things so easy. Most importantly they did an amazing job, my bridal party consisted of all ages form 16 to 64 and everyone felt amazing and loved both their hair and makeup. I've been in a few weddings and it's close to impossible to make 6 women happy with both hair and makeup, but they nailed it! We had an incident where one of my bridesmaids got upset and cried (teenager stuff) and wanted to have her makeup fixed up again (though honestly she didn't need it, she still looked amazing) and Laura just handled it without any hesitation like it was completely normal. My daughter changed her mind about her hair, it was down and she wanted it up instead after an hour (teenagers!) , Solange changed it with no problem and did a beautiful job. These ladies are quick and talented and very down to earth and I would work with them again in a heartbeat. Laura even gave me a little bag with things I may need to touch up throughout the night, make up, hair spray etc it really was a nice touch. They made the whole process easy and stress free which is exactly what you want when planning a wedding.

We both wear a little bit of makeup pretty regularly for work, and maybe a little more for special occasions; but we wanted looks that were a *little bit* bolder and more special that would also stay put for the whole day and night. We thoroughly enjoyed the consultation process, where Grace clearly heard what we wanted and asked lots of helpful clarifying questions to be sure everything would be just perfect. While it initially looked as if we'd be paired with a team member day-of, we were lucky enough to have Grace herself get both of us glam -- plus my step-daughter! So, so perfect for all of us. And Grace is also a wonderful life coach. We opted into the pre-wedding stress-relief sessions (on Zoom), which we both found really helpful in keeping us focused on the excitement and the positives -- rather than the inevitable logistical challenges and problem-solving and nerves -- as we headed toward our big day. Really top-notch service, which among the other plusses brought me to a shade of pink for my lip color that I love but never would have picked for myself in a million years! :) I understand that Grace also does makeup tutorials and more general life-coaching, and while the post-wedding budget doesn't quite stretch to that right now I'm definitely considering it. Just the best experience 11/10!!
