I want to apologize to everyone that wasn't informed of the closing of Deluxe Spa. As an ex-employee we had no control. We were only informed by the owner that he was done and close up. With that being said we had no time to notify all our loyal clients. This horrible notice happened to us before the holidays. What ever issues the owner had and still may have was not the doing of all the employees. Please understand that we are still distraught by the lack of professionalism by an owner. I was randomly just scrolling on Instagram and just saw that you guys closed yesterday? Why would no one contact me and tell me this? Hidden gem located near the Hilton in Parsippany. My mother-in-law came across a Living Social deal here when looking to plan a spa day for my bachelorette party. We called the spa to see if they could accommodate a large party before buying the deal and they told us they would price match the deal without going through Living Social. The were great to work with and blocked out the whole spa for the 12 of us. We had access to spa and hotel amenities all day and were able to have a relaxing day in robes and slippers. The services themselves were amazing and we all felt so relaxed by the end of the day. Our very reasonable fee also included lunch, which was very tasty. Definitely a great place! read more

Still a wonderful spa. Note that during the week, you can get a Swedish massage and facial, each an hour, for $139, although tax and tip aren't included if you schedule between Monday and Friday, 10 to 3. Taking advantage of this on a Friday, I again had a facial with Claire, which was superlative, even my husband noticed the glow of my skin. And Raj provided a very good massage working on my tight calf muscles. Recommend this spa again and this is a great deal if you can squeeze it into your schedule. read more

And according to the gentleman at the front desk of the Hilton, they closed abruptly and took a lot of money with them (from pre-pays, like us). I went today and had the most relaxing experience! The only thing I'm upset about is that I didn't find this place sooner! I had a Groupon for a massage and lunch. I was immediately impressed by the spa it is so clean and so relaxing and rather large compared to other spas I have been to in the area. The massage itself was excellent I fell asleep several times and it felt like only ten minutes passed I couldn't believe and hour went by! There were hot pads used...hot towels...back scrubs...hot stones...aromatherapy ...it was all so so so relaxing. I will most certainly be going again and making sure I allow myself enough time to use the hot tub and pool after. read more

Went for message on my anniversary, called prior to confirm availability due to planning to buy Groupon. Young lady was very nice offered to match it if booked directly with them, No problem. Package was 2 messages with a back scrub and lunch. Specifically stated it was my wedding anniversary. Made no difference was separated from my husband and when questioned was told Groupon said message for 2 not couples. (Groupn I didn't buy). But if I would've asked I would've been told it was an upgrade! Well how about a little customer service and you offer it! Went on with what we both felt were mediocre messages at best. Next lunch was 2 tasty wraps & tasty mimosas... with some dry purple cabage on plate. I'm assumimg for color. While we ate 5 to 6 different employees walked back and forth through the dinning area. Not peaceful at all! Also let me add that the atire on the receptionist and the massage therapist were like they were in park on a Saturday. Could've been nice afternoon, but they need alot of upgrades, it was far from professional. Good note :Spa is nice, everyone spoke pleasantly. Just not classy, doesn't fit Hilton name . read more

Hidden inside the Hilton, which itself is suspect, the spa is beautifully decorated and emits aromatherapy that in itself am purchasing. I am so glad I found Deluxe Spa! I hosted a bachelorette spa day here this past weekend and everything was just perfect. The spa coordinator, Claudine, is amazing. From the first time I contacted her to the moment I walked out she was extremely helpful and patient. When I arrived to the spa the day of the party, she helped me set up some decorations and favors that I brought with me. The spa is very cozy and welcoming. They keep the lighting nice and low and soothing music plays throughout. Our party was a group of nine women. We had the spa to ourselves as they let us use both locker rooms and the large private room for parties. They provide robes and slippers. With the party package we chose, each person had the option of a facial or massage. I chose the one hour massage. It was so nice. Renee really is the best! I was completely relaxed and at ease. Every single guest raved about their services. The party package also included a champagne toast and a fruit platter with fondue. I ordered extra food to go along with it and everything was really good. The spa only allows one champagne toast. They provide tea, cucumber water, and cider. Any additional alcohol must be provided by the Hilton. I thought the toast was enough considering we had a day party and it was only a few hours. We also had access to the Hilton facilities for the day. This includes a fitness facility, indoor pool, and whirlpool. The Hilton also has an outdoor pool but it was winter so obviously it was closed. Our party stayed overnight but you do not need to stay in order to enjoy these services. We dined at Ruth's Chris for dinner which is also inside the Hilton. A huge thank you again to Claudine, Liz, Renee, and all of the staff at Deluxe Spa. I had a very disappointing experience at the Deluxe Spa. My daughter and I went for massages. Neither one of us had a good massage it was more like a light back rub. My masseuse completely skipped major muscles. My daughter's masseuse talked the entire time. There were very loud people outside the room during the massage which was disruptive. The very small locker room was not clean. There were towels and slippers all over the floor from people there before us. There wasn't even toilet paper in the bathroom. Other customers came in and out while we were there and we were all in each other's way. It was awkward and there is no privacy even coming out of the shower. When asked how our experience was, I nicely told them how disappointing it was. They didn't seem to care, and they didn't seem surprised by what we reported about our experience. It was an expensive disappointment. read more

Renee is an awesome massage therapist, highly recommend. Westminster is kind of a no-frills outpost so if you're looking for full spa ambience be sure to book at the Hilton. I like Westminster because it's closer to home, quiet and less fussy. Great specials and promotions, too. read more

I've been here a few times and want to like it, but don't. The gal who works Saturdays seems "out of it" for the most part. The place appears to be a nice find but honestly the service is hit or miss depending on the therapist you agree to. I wish their promotions were more consistent. They up & change things last minute which makes me want to try someplace else. You used to get more perks in the past. This place may be destined to close soon. If you cheap out on your customers, there are other spas that will give you more bang for your buck. read more

Tried Deluxe Spa when Groupon had a promotion for a hot stone massage. The Spa, changing, and waiting areas are a bit small but the massage from Mary was absolutely fantastic. I am usually awkward when going for a massage but Mary made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She worked out all the tension in my neck and shoulders and gave an amazing massage overall. Booked a couples massage while staying at the Westminster hotel. Westminster does not have a couples room so we had to go to Hilton hotel in parsippany. I had janette who was amazing. My husband had Raj- who decided it was best to give him a deep tissue massage (maybe because he was a man)? Although my husband told her a couple times it was too rough- and she kept telling him to relax ( he was tensing up bc he was in pain) she didn't let up on the roughness. Between that and her heavy breathing and coughing, my husband came out the massage in pain and stressed. Front desk was very nice. Not sure of the location though... While I was showing and getting dressed- children were playing right outside of the window. I wasn't sure if they could see in so I rushed. Not sure if I would go back- I wish janette was in a different location because I def would book with her again. read more

I recently visited this spa and was so extremely satisfied. My appointment was taken on time. which I really appreciated. I received a full 60 min massage instead of the customary 50 min's. In this massage I got hot stones and a hot towel all included in the price! Then I went to the nail area where I again was taken right away and received my manicure and pedicure, I just love all the summer colors. the chairs were so comfortable and the whirlpool foot spa was divine, . I purchased a deal on living social for a spa mani/pedi with hot stone massage , foot scrub and a glass of champagne. First, The spa mani/pedi was mediocre to say the least. They don't even remove callus properly. There's nothing else to classify this service as a spa level service. They don't even massage you much. I've had better experiences in the local nail salons. Also There are only two chairs in this tiny, dark space. Then, the hot stone massage could hardly be called "hot stone" since the stones were luke warm and it didn't feel like a massage at all. Finally, they completely left out the foot scrub and champagne. Yes, my mistake for not remembering until I got home, but I tried to contact the spa and they have yet to reply to me. It was way over-priced for what I got. At $55 I expect a lot more than a mani/pedi I can get in any NYC salon for $19.99! read more

Horrible place!!!!! They offer Gel mani/pedi's and have maybe 8 colors to chose from!!! Mani/Pedi was great and the girls where very nice!! However the front desk messed up our appointments and did so to the people after us!!! I don't see this place staying in business at all!!! They're products suck!! I bought my mother a facial and a massage for Mother's Day and she absolutely loved it. She said the service was great, the treatments were phenomenal and the overall ambiance made her extremely comfortable. The Spa itself is really lovely, but it's hit or miss on the services. The spa is poorly managed and sometimes it isn't that clean. It isn't consistent and you never know who will be doing the services. They are linked with the Deluxe Spa at the Westminster Hotel and that spa can really be filthy.
