Unfortunately, my last two appointments with Aimee have been disappointing. On both occasions, my nails were misfiled in a way that noticeably affected the shape. The first time I brought it to her attention, I was told, "I don't know what you're talking about, they look fine to me," which felt dismissive of my concern as a paying customer. At my appointment today, I again noticed issues with the filing and politely pointed them out. After a small attempt to correct them, Aimee sat back in her chair, shrugged her shoulders, and said, "That's the best that I can do." I found this response highly unprofessional, especially after expressing a concern about the quality of the service. I want to be clear that I value good service and regularly tip accordingly. However, due to the experience and level of professionalism displayed during this appointment, I did not feel comfortable leaving a tip this time. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that customer concerns are taken more seriously moving forward, as I have otherwise enjoyed coming to this salon.

I went in for a pedicure and a no-chip French tip. When I left, I wasn't completely satisfied the tips were a bit crooked and too thin, and the French base was more milky white instead of the neutral pink I prefer. I didn't say anything at the time because I'm pretty shy, and I didn't want to come off bratty. After showing my nails to a friend, she encouraged me to call and get them fixed. I was hesitant because I didn't want to come off as someone who complains, but I'm really glad I did. The receptionist was incredibly sweet, super apologetic, understanding, and accommodating,. She encouraged me to come back in and insisted they could fix them . When I returned, another nail tech gladly fixed my nails exactly how I wanted them. Not once did anyone make me feel uncomfortable or like I was being difficult. They were kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming the entire time!!!!!! Great customer service makes all the difference, and they really delivered!!!!! I truly appreciate how they handled everything . I was super happy!!!!! Definitely recommend this place!

I needed my nails done for an October 2024 wedding and found Ipop Central. They had glowing reviews…read moreso I booked an appointment over the phone with owner Mylinh the week of the wedding. MyLinh went over my preferences and she requested I send a pic of the work I wanted done. I saw a picture off of Pinterest I wanted to replicate which required extensive artwork. With these parameters I also needed nail extensions. After going over preferences and quoting a price, Mylinh recommended I do the Russian manicure with builder gel application. I never had a Russian manicure before but was willing to try it out. She paired me with two technicians. Adele who did the manicure and Jamal who did the artwork. Russian manicures are high quality focusing on cuticle deep cleaning which can extend manicure wear. In fact, all of the work is dry application meaning your nails never get soaked in chemical solution. Total work with the artwork took 4 hours to complete with longer lasting results versus a traditional gel extensions. I kept my manicure over 3 weeks before seeing outgrowth and even then they still looked great! When it came time for removal they used a fine drill bit (no soaking was involved). I left with my natural nail intact with the nail bed feeling healthier than ever. Adele did a great job on my nails. She was gentle, patient and really took the quality of her work seriously. Jamal is a trained nail artist who does a good job with her nail art whether it's freestyle or replicating a design. The facilities are modern and clean with comfortable seating. Their pedicure chairs have customizable massage functions making your session a relaxing experience. I rarely get my nails done. At the most I get them done once or twice a year on special occasions or a vacation. However when I do get them done I go all out. After the amazing service I had here I plan to seek out Ipop Central for any future manicure/pedicure needs. Note: Parking is street side only so plan and schedule accordingly.

After a manicure with a nail design that looked like I'd done it myself, and an unexpected upcharge, I decided to switch and find a new salon. If you have plenty of time and patience and are seeking a simple color without a design, ipop is a good option. But if you're looking for an efficient service, I would consider looking elsewhere.

Both are incredibly detail-oriented and take their time to ensure everything is perfect. While it's on the pricier side, my nails lasted over a month the last time, so it's definitely worth the price. Kristina (apologies if I'm spelling it wrong!) was kind, respectful, and very professional. I especially appreciate how sanitary she was--she asked me to wash my hands twice, wore headwear, and always kept gloves on. The salon itself is chic and well-maintained. The woman who do did my feet really took the time to care for my toes and feet which I appreciated. If you are expecting a crazy leg massage you won't get that here BUT your feet will feel AMAZING. As far and my mani, they actually took off my old polish the correct way (soaking and not by machine filing like many quick in and out salons do). When I arrived the place was empty. The owner?/manager? Was curled up in a pedicure chair and covered with blanket. I was glad because now they do dips there. He got the foot bath ready for me. I had trouble communicating with him. He spoke little to no English. She said that he would still do it. I thought how could he do it over the fresh polish. He used some CLEAR solution on my legs. Not mud and not mudlike. He wrapped my legs in a plastic wrap. Then aimed "steam machines" toward my legs and walked away and sat down. Did not say how long it was going to take. After 10-15 minutes I moved them off. It was not comfortable. The "manager" saw and called him over. He removed the wrap and looked at my toes. I was not sure if the polish made it to the edges. He said something to the manager and she came over. While she was he once again painted the edges of 4 nails. She took her finger to test if they were dry and smudged the polish. The color did stay but smudged. She painted over the 4 toes. He then attempted to put my flip flops on me in an odd way. Did not have success so I did it myself. She then said I could go when I wanted. I was not going to stay another 10-15 minutes to dry again. There was no drying table. I did tip him usually. I did not feel it was his fault. I think he was surprised. Also near the bathroom there is a sink to wash your hands. Above the sink is a large hole in the wall. You can see into the restroom! There was a picture or something against the wall from outside the restroom. It still left a nice size hole you could look into and still see the toilet. The highlight of the pedicure... online it said it takes 45 minutes. I was there 2 hours without staying to have my nails dry! I wish Rose had not left.
