They did remove my no chip without charging which was great but the manicure was very disappointing. Thank god I got a regular manicure and didn't pay $30 for a no chip! Asked for the same shape but shorter. My nails are nubs now and not attractive. Maybe the language barrier was a problem. The experience itself was odd. They do back massages but don't tell you until the girl is flipping your hair out of the way which I asked her to stop. The hand massage was unnecessary too. It's not like they're masseuses so it's not a bonus in my book or a reason to go here as a walkin. Seemed like others in there were regulars though. I am particular about my nails and about sanitation practices, and have had mostly disappointing experiences with nail salons in the city. I am willing to pay and travel for good service and cleanliness. I also want to be able to communicate with the technician who is doing my nails. I was looking to get my nails done before a weekend trip and wanted a place that was closer than my previous go-to suburban salon. I checked Yelp reviews, and chose Deluxe Nails based on the rating and comments. I have been to Deluxe Nails twice now, and had an excellent experience with Jenny both times, it definitely lived up to my expectations! Jenny has given me probably the best no-chip manicures I've had. Many salons charge a lot more than Deluxe Nails and do a "dry" no-chip manicure, which basically involves pushing back your cuticles without any softening, clipping/filing/shaping, applying the polish, and then applying lotion. Not at Deluxe Nails! It is a full-blown manicure - soak, cuticle removal, shaping, an outstanding and careful application of the no-chip polish with ample curing time, topped off with a neck and shoulder massage. I have selected CND Shellac polish both times (my preferred brand) and have had perfect nails with no chips for 3+ weeks. They have quite a few colors and brands of no-chip polish. The pedicure is nice, their spa massage chairs really give you a going over! I need to spend some time checking out the different massage features, the first time I felt a bit manhandled by the chair's default setting, but not in a bad way. They go beyond the basics on the pedicure as well. They sanitize their tools and pedicure bowls well, and use disposable files, buffers, and whatever the little bars are called that they use to exfoliate your feet. Each station has multiple fresh items ready for the technicians to use. The decor is not fancy, more functional, which is fine with me. I appreciate the outstanding service and result for what I consider a very fair price - 40% less than what I was paying at the salon where I have my hair done. Their closing time is earlier than what is listed on the Yelp page - I felt bad because they stayed late to finish for me because I went in assuming they were open until 7:30 but discovered that they close at 7 on weeknights, at least during the winter. Next time I will confirm when I call ahead for an appointment if it's near the end of the day. There are parking spaces in the rear and a back door, or you can park on the street. read more

Love the staff here. They do a great job at very reasonable prices and they are great at accepting walk ins but they do tend to get busy so try and make an appointment ahead of time. Also cash tips are preferred! Love that there's a parking lot in the back since it's such a busy area. read more

Found them on Yelp and Looooved this place! We walked in and were taken care of immediately. Went for mani/pedis. They had enough staff that they did both our nails at the same time so neither one of us had to sit around and wait. The pedicure was great, the foot and leg massage awesome. The manicure was perfect, the hand and arm massage spectacular. They even give you a neck and shoulder massage and finish with a hot towel. I felt pampered, and ready for a nap afterwards. Ehh not the best. Came in through the back. Went in for a pedicure and no chip. Did pedicure and wait 1 hr (I had time) for a no chip but then as I wait for my nails to dry and for the lady to be free- I just kept looking around. I wasn't too convinced it was sanitize and cleaned like how other salons are. They do have some great massage chairs though. read more

I have been on the search for a new nail shop, I mainly do pedicures. I decided to try Deluxe based on reviews and convenience of the location for me. Came here a few weeks back for my first pedicure of the season and I was not disappointed. I paid the $32 and went for the deluxe pedi which included the hot stone massage. The pedicure was good and the girl did a good job. She really took her time and took care of my ingrown which I appreciated greatly. I will definitely be back for my pedicures, hopefully the service stays consistent. read more

I really like this place, I came here based on other yelp reviews. When you first walk in you think "ok another quick in and out nail salon- been there done that" but then surprise... this one is really different. How? The techs are all very friendly and courteous (ever have the feeling techs talk rubbish about?) Yep, you won't ever get that weird feeling here. No rushing the job, ever. I've been here now 5 times and never ever was I rushed. There are no excessive fumes. The chairs are comfortable and the prices are fair. The salon is clean and so are the tools. I didn't have an appointment, so I had to wait about 10 minutes for my pedicure, which was fine. The pedicure was okay, although she clipped one toenail noticeably too short. The people who worked there were polite, quiet. Afterwards, she told me to just stay in the chair to let my toenails dry, which I thought was a little strange (usually there is a separate drying area), and after quite a while, I put on my shoes and went up to pay. Its disappointing. Don't get me wrong, the final product is actually ok but the whole experience is extremely lacking. They barely talk to you when you walk in the door, don't offer you any water/drinks when you first come in, they speak to each other in their native language, the lotion they use feels like it is diluted with water and the leg massage is 2 seconds long. I just expect so much more from a mani and pedi. That's my time to be pampered and this place definitely does not do that. Its disappointing and while it is walking distance from my house I chose to drive 5 miles away to a place that relaxes me and provides me with a great all around experience. read more

I absolutely love this nail shop! I have only gotten pedicures here but they do a great job. It is very clean and the ladies are very attentive to what they are doing. I also like that they open a new package of nail instruments for each client. This stops things such as fungus from spreading. They also do very nice nail designs. This is the nail spot! I came in expecting nothing special (i have had many mediocre experiences at nail shops before), and it was spectacular! They really pay close attention to detail, they cured my no chip at least 6 times each per hand. They even give you a nice neck and shoulder massage while you wait for your nails to dry, the finish you with a hot towel. The place is very clean and everyone was very friendly. Kim and her team are the best! Clean, fast and beautiful work no matter what your looking for. Comfortable, friendly atmosphere without the "hurry up" turnover feel.
