I went in for a fresh set of acrylics (mine were on for 3 months). Walked in on the day before Christmas Eve at 9 am, assuming it would be a hectic mess, but I walked right in and sat down. I had to do a soak off which lasted 30 min. They took their time and made sure I was completely satisfied. I didn't end up leaving until around 10:45 but they were attentive the whole time. She made sure the shape was exactly how I liked it a couple times and even helped me pick out the best color. Their color selection is huge, far more than many places, and they do their acrylics thin. The overall price for a fresh set including soak off was $53. UPDATED 1/26/2016 - 2 of my nails broke within a week by doing simple, everyday things. Very upset. Won't be going back simply because the drive is just not worth it. read more

Unfortunately, this will be my last time coming here. First of all, I'm not convinced about the sanitary conditions of the pedicure station. The tools they use are just thrown back into a bucket after use. ...Are they sanitized? Yikes. And my main sanitary concern? My feet started peeling like crazy about four days after I came here. Second of all, it's been 1.5 weeks, and the gel on both my hands and feet are yellowed. I paid $105 (including tip) for this. While the man that did my manicure and pedicure was nice enough, a friend pointed out to me that he messed up the curve of the white tips on several of my nails. There were also several places where the white tips were not finished on the side. She criticised me for going to the mall to get my nails done. (I clearly don't know any better, as I'm not usually someone that gets their nails done.) - Honestly, I don't feel like my nails should be THIS off-white already. What the heck? I'm already contemplating taking the gel off. - And seriously, what is wrong with my feet? They don't hurt or anything, but if this persists the next few days, I'm going to the doctor's. I shouldn't have to worry about catching something, going to a nail salon. Do you have to worry about that with all nail salons?! I'm not sure this is worth the hassle, haha. read more

My daughter (15) went to get a full set. They added a lot of extras without telling her (gel polish, coffin shape and "cuticle" treatment) it ended up costing almost a hundred dollars. My nails look good but it was more expensive than other places I've been and the costumer service was not great. I went with a friend, we both got a pedi and mani. Mine toes were done at least 20 minutes before my friends because she got a massage and I didn't, even though we paid for the same 'level' of pedi. Also, the women doing my dip manicure rushed me to pick a color and checked her phone several times in the middle of working on my nails. I came here today because I failed to get an appointment at my usual place (S & D Nails) and tried to do a walk-in which has worked in the past as long as I arrive when they first open, but alas, there was a huge wedding party that had appointments so off I went to the mall. I was in desperate need of a polish change and use shellac on both my hands and my feet. I have found that some places (Tavernier's) will do nothing less than a manicure and pedicure if you use shellac just so they can charge you more, I assume. Granted, a polish change for shellac is more labor intensive and usually cost as much as the traditional manicure and pedicure. But the benefit of being long-wearing is worth the cost in my opinion. Overall I was happy with the result, they have a large color selection and usually can accommodate walk-ins easily. read more

I went here today to get my fist ever shellac color polish. I wanted to try it to see if it really does last longer than regular polish. With me regular polish only lasts a few days. I also wanted just to get a color change on my toes since I'm 36 weeks pregnant and can't reach them anymore! I walked right in. Signed in and was asked to pick out a color for my toes. The girl did s good job on my toes. Then we got to the shellac part of my hands. This was a new process to me and she wanted to file my nails with a drill! I thought that was so odd because I have very thin brittle nails and the only time I have ever had them drilled was when I was getting acrylic nails. She quickly said well that's how we do it here. I told her no filing on the top of my nails due to their brittle structure. Then it was time for the bill which came up 10.00 more than I calculated. I asked why it was more and she told me it was because I got a shellac manicure. I told her no that's not want I wanted nor was it what I wrote down. I even pointed out the sheet what I had wrote. She proceeded to argue with me. I felt very taken advantage of. A regular manicure includes cuticle trimming, soaking, massage, color polish ect. All she did was reshape my nails and polish them. Which I pointed out. I asked to speak to the manager and was told it didn't matter I had to pay that amount. I wish I would have had cash as I would have only paid what I had ordered! This was the first time I didn't leave a tip. I also was so disturbed that I spoke to the mall personnel in the management office and filed a formal complaint. I came to this place years ago and had a good experience, so I decided to give them a try since I've recently moved back. Long story short the first technician seemed to genuinely care about doing a good job on my nails, but failed at the application because they started to lift/chip after 3 days and completely fall off within the week. Having been out of town I couldn't go back to get them fixed right away, so when I returned only a week later, they said they were willing to have the tech fix them but were obviously upset about it. I asked to have someone else fix them because clearly the first tech was inexperienced and I didn't want to have to return a second time. The new tech low key blamed me for the nails turning out bad because I was indecisive about my color the first time around (which was false). And then told me she was going to do a new technique for dip that made them last longer, which was actually just acrylic. I've had acrylic before and don't mind it, but don't lie to me when I ask if that's actually what you did. That's sketchy af. In the end the new tech was clearly annoyed with me, when literally I said nothing to her and answered all her questions politely. I even tipped her at the end. But I will not return due to the way they treated me just for asking my nails to get fixed, and for them lying to me about what they did to my nails. read more

No one was particularly outstanding but no one was rude or unpleasant either. It was your standard run of the mill pedicure at a reasonable price. There was no wait, although they were quite busy. I really appreciated that my tech was patient with me as I tried on virtually every nail polish OPI ever created. he took his time and gve a really nice massage. This is definitely one of the nicer/cleaner salons in the area. Staff seems friendly. I don't know how one reviewer mentioned she spent $180 on a mani/pedi for both her and her daughter. Their prices are clearly noted all throughout the salon and you can get a mani/pedi combo for under $40 a piece. Pedicure was great. No complaints felt well attended to. I got a gel manicure by the same lady. Definitely wasn't as great. There was a huge bubble under one of the nails before it went under the light. I told her and she wiped it off to redo it but had I not mentioned it she probably wouldn't have fixed it herself and it was very obvious. No cuticle oil was used on my nails during manicure and no massage with basic apparently (not that I even needed or wanted one). She didn't bother to buff or file my nails after the polish was dried as well so I touched it up myself when I got home. The polish looks good otherwise. Too expensive for the 22 minutes i received ($40), water was cold. Tech got up twice from doing my daughters who was with me, didnt shape, clean or buff nails, horrible polish job and left me to put my own shoes back on. i got a dip manicure and it was a pretty good experience overall, but there were a few things about this place. first of all i liked my nail tech ( dan ) and i would say he is pretty good but he made it a little lumpy and left a lot of space between my cuticle and actual nail. he was extremely nice and he remembered my name and everything! he did cut my finger just a tad bit and it was when the filler rolled off my nail on accident, so it just looks like a hang nail. the towel he's was using was a little dirty but overall the supplies were really nice and clean ( as far as i could see ). the nails look really cute and i'm overall happy with the nails! Don't waste your time. I've been there twice now. The first time I got a fill in and it was priced reasonably ($35), and the guy did a great job. The 2nd time I got a fill in--which she convinced me to completely take off and re-do at a cost of $60!! I wouldn't have done it for that price--besides it hurts like heck! I also got a pedicure for $50. I still have ingrown toenails today and my heels are still rough. You pay extra for the mud on your legs, but it wasn't nearly long enough for the price. read more

My nails chipped quickly and they did not sell any nail polish for touch ups so i had to go with chipped nails until i could find something somewhere else.I literally peeled the polish off of my nails with ease less than a week later. I also had a very red sore spot on my cuticle where the girl rudely cut it with little regard for whether or not it was hurting me. I was also with a group and was not seated anywhere near them. DON"T GO HERE. I opted for the "royal manicure" and it was anything but royal. My cuticles were not pushed back or evenly trimmed. The french manicure was not even and the nails were not filed in the same shape. If you are looking for a place to go for an important event DON'T go here. Also, within an hour of leaving, with little to no activity the polish is chipped on my non-dominant hand. I could have done a better job at home with no previous experience. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I went here to get a gel manicure on a Monday evening after work. I came as a walk-in, as I usually do for nail appointments, and they got me in quickly. All seemed to be going well. The greeter asked me to have a seat at the salon chair and I waited for one of the nail technicians to attend to me. I sat in the chair for 15 minutes and waited, and as I waited the salon got busier and the greeters and technicians attended to these customers (instead of me). Eventually the greeter realized I had been sitting there unattended for some period of time. He apologized and brought out a whole bowl of acetone to soak off my previously gel polished nails. I asked if he could use foil instead of making me stick my hands in a bowl of pungent acetone. He sighed and said "They do that there but it takes longer." Because I usually have my gel polish removed with cotton, foil, and acetone, I knew that the time frame is usually about the same. As a result I requested the foil. I requested this especially because this salon charges extra for soaking off gel polish. I waited another 10 minutes and no nail technician came to attend me. Eventually the greeter came back and started to wrap my nails in foil, cotton, and acetone. I could tell that this was his first time, as he used entire cotton balls versus pieces of cotton and large strips of foil on each nail. It took much longer to put the foil on because he would do one fingernail and then leave me to greet other customers and set them up in pedicure chairs/salon chairs for manicures. When he has finished wrapping my nails, he asked me to wait 20 minutes. He did not return after 20 minutes. He only returned after an hour had passed. At this point I was extremely upset, but did not say anything rude. I asked that he just remove the polish and stated that I didn't have enough time to wait for a gel manicure. I was off all evening, but I didn't appreciate him wasting my time off from work and forgetting about me. I figured I would pay for the gel removal and take my business somewhere else. To this day I have taken my business elsewhere and have had very good service and experiences at a more friendly, caring, and hardworking salon. read more

I have been to this salon twice now. I was hoping that giving them a second chance would work because it is a convenient salon when the one I usually go to is too busy. The first time I went they pushed the shellac on me even after I told them that it makes my nails weak and brittle. They told me it was just gel and that it would be okay. I went ahead and did it after they accosted me for ten minutes while having my toe nails done. I've been dealing with brittle nails ever since. I decided to try again in hopes of a better experience. Again they tried to get me to do the shellac and I told them no three times, explaining why I couldn't do it. The girl looked at me like I was crazy. They did regular polish for me. Three hours later, after only sitting at my house watching tv, my nail polish was chipping off and separating on my nails. I returned to the salon unhappy and asked for my money back. They refused and called the manager. I explained the situation to him and he said that all services were non-refundable and it was at the top of the paper and that they did the manicure and the polish is just extra. He said they would repaint them and do the shellac for me (after I explained to him why I can't do shellac). Then they tried to tell me it was because I used a regular polish. I do regular polish at EVERY salon I go to and this has never happened. Then they tried to tell me it was because I didn't let them dry long enough; that I had to wait ten minutes. I told them I had waited ten minutes (12:37-12:50). Then they tried to tell me that it was because ten minutes only dries the top coat. I was tired of their excuses and had them take the polish off and told them I would not be returning. Needless to say, I've given this salon two chances and both times I have been dissatisfied. They refused to let me pick what I wanted and kept insisting that I needed certain things to make me pay more money! They were very rude and hateful. The nail tech drilled my nails and my cuticles until they bled... She then did a terrible job applying the tips and shaped them very unevenly. When she put my nails under the dryer she told me "don't bite and don't mess them up"! (While continually giving me dirty looks and whispering about me to another nail tech) I will never go here again and I don't suggest anyone else go. Also I can still see the polish from where I painted my nails last time under my new French tips. My nails look HORRIBLE and are very PAINFUL.
