From the second we walked through the door, the team treated us like family. They listened to exactly what Krista wanted for her trail adventures in the Black Hills, pulled out the perfect Trek model, and spent real time getting the fit spot-on so she feels confident and comfortable right From the beginning. The whole process was smooth, fun, and zero pressure. They answered every question (and there were a lot!), assembled the bike with expert care, tuned it perfectly, and even took it for a quick test spin to make sure everything was dialed in before we loaded it up. Krista has been grinning ear-to-ear on every ride since, and she keeps saying "this is the best bike I've ever owned!" A buddy rode back to Sundance to pick up a tractor battery from an auto parts store. Riding down Cleveland ST, he saw a sign for Woody's HD repair! They had a battery in stock, and he brought it to me and I was on my way. Unfortunately, 20 miles down the road, the battery and engine light came back on, and I knew I had an electrical issue and immediately pulled over. I knew I could not ride the 30 miles back to the shop, so I used the receipt and called Woody's. They sent a trailer and picked me up. Woody's was jammed as this was Sturgis Bike Week. They had correctly identified a burned out stator and had (1) in stock. 2 hours later, I was back on the road and the rest of my trip was without further mechanical issues. Erica, the shop manager and wife of the owner, was the nicest, most understanding person I have ever met. She was very reassuring that my bike was in good hands and would be fixed. The prices were very fair, and Justin, the owner and tech, was very capable. This is an OASIS in the middle of nowhere (as far as a broke down bike is concerned), and all of us felt lucky to be is such good hands. Another surprise was that Deluxe HD was also located across the street (new shop), but I much prefer Independent repair shops.

They have athletic clothes, hats, water bottles, travel/day packs, hiking/running shoes in all the well-known brands, in addition to a good selection of climbing gear. I was especially surprised that they had climbing shoes for my tiny Women's size 6 feet. Peyton was super friendly and helpful with finding the right size and fit for my first pair. I ended up getting some Scarpas from the Clearance Cave downstairs for only $66 :,) The Clearance Cave has tons of clothing and shoe options by the way, but especially for the less common sizes so definitely don't forget to check it out. Granite Sports has a very good moderate-sized inventory, and one of the best options for climbing gear. I drove all the way out here from Rapid for climbing shoes, and I was very satisfied. I'll definitely be back for my next pair.

A dealer in Wyoming took it apart because of valve train noise, but found nothing wrong. Dakota V-Twin put it back together for us, fixed the noise it was originally torn down to find, and charged us one third of the dealer's quote even though their tech worked on it until 9:30 on Sunday night to finish it so my wife could ride the Black Hills! This kind of service and dedication are unheard of! I can't speak highly enough of Dakota V-Twin, and highly recommend them to anyone who needs parts, service, or repairs.
