I am a moderator of a Cadillac forum and help owners around the world diagnose problems on their Cadillacs. Finding competency and honesty in the auto repair segment is very difficult. However, Augie is the FIRST mechanic I have met that listens to the customer, is honest and he knows his stuff. He is a rare find and you won't make a mistake trusting him with your car. His fantastic reputation is absolutely true and my needs were met and exceeded greatly. I called up this morning to make an appointment and immediately got a respectful answer and a time to come in from Bobby himself. When I arrived I was greeted by Bobby and his assistant who were both friendly, respectful and enjoyable to talk to. My car was immediately brought into the bay exactly at the appointment time and I got to meet one of Bobbys employees in the back as well. He instantly got to work on my car and the job was done in a timely fashion but to an extremely high quality. The waiting area has many cool car related models and race inspired products showing that Bobby sees cars in a way that true car guys do. When the job was done he had me come back to personally check the underside of the car to see the work was done correctly and had me start up the car with him to make sure everything was done correctly. Clearly a respectful and honest man of his word who hires only the hardest working, most respectful staff. My car is not worth a million bucks but it was treated with the same level of care as a brand new, worthless vehicle. It looked, smelled and drove exactly as it did when I brought it in but it just sounded a whole lot better. I will absolutely use Bobbys again with my next exhaust needs and I highly recommend them. But after a while the dad retired, son took over, got married had a baby, bought a house and then prices went up considerably. Being retired living on a SS and a small pension I had no alternative to find somebody else. But all of this doesn't mean they were not good they are but just too expensive for my budget. If you're in and around Deer Park and you are not in a tight budget, they are very good mechanics. BTW they give you a ride home and or to work and will pick you up when they are done.
