Not only was the pricing on point, but the quality of the installation and the professionalism Christian provided was so far beyond expectation. Literally the pricing is beyond reasonable, the work exceptional, but the transparency, kindness and courtesy shown to us was a breath of fresh air. I HIGHLY and STRONGLY recommend Green Solar Electric Solutions. When you call the office and speak to Julie, she AMAZING!!!! If ever there is a company that deserves recognition for their awesome work and professionalism, this is the company for you!!! I also needed an outlet installed in the hallway where there were no outlets near by (also with own dedicated circuit) John was quick to call me and schedule an electrician to take a look at what i needed. Robert came within hours of the call and gave us a fair quote for the work. We got 3 other quotes and they all seemed in the same ball park - $1200 to $1400, based on the work (i don't have an attic, so a lot of cutting) but Green Electric gave the most competitive pricing and the work is insured. We received a first time customer discount as well. We decided on Robert because of his professionalism and amount of knowledge he had on the work and the input he gave us. Robert did a great job. Worked on saturday for about five hours and gave us a drywall recommendation. The weekend worked perfectly for us as we both work from home. Would definitely work with Robert and Green electric again.

They had the engineering, design and permits done in a just a few weeks and stayed in touch with me each week with updates - which made me feel super comfortable. Unlike the other solar companies, they educated me on all the types of systems and the state and federal programs and let me choose. I chose HERO which is a state PACE program where I don't even have to make payments for over 16 months! AND it is a 100% tax write-off!! I especially like that they gave me a lifetime labor warranty - I know they wouldn't do it if they were using the regular cheap panels and inverters.

My husband and I have always wanted to get solar, and after buying a house last year it was on our…read moreto-do list. What kept holding us back was distrust for solar companies and solar salesmen out there. There is a whole lot of conflicting information and misinformation on the Internet and we dreaded solar salesmen the same way everyone dreads car salesmen. A friend we trust swore by Michael McClure and American Solar Fund, so we filled in the interest form on the website. Michael called less than an hour later to set up an information session at our home. He arrived on time and took the time to sit with us and give us all of the information we needed to make our decision, patiently answering all of our questions. Michael is intelligent and well-researched and solar energy is clearly a big passion of his, not just a sales gig. After he left more questions came up of course, so we continued to write or call him about them, and he always got back to us quickly and answered them to our satisfaction. I still text him occasionally for insight on things green- or energy-related, like tinting our windows, etc., and he always responds quickly and with helpful information. We were approved for a HERO loan, and we went forward with the process of getting solar installed. The company mapped our roof, drew out the plan, ordered the solar panels and installed them in less than a month. Our electric bill went from $262 in October to $43 in November (though you don't pay any electric bills all year until your true-up date, when you pay the difference between what you used/produced). The whole process was smooth and surprisingly stress-free. We're happy with our solar and we're grateful to Michael and American Solar Fund for their reliable, honest, professional, and quick service!
