Don't do it! My wife and I had purchased a home in Belleville about 2and a half years ago. We moved in after winter so after our first year there, we called Delta because on the coldest night of the year the heater was keeping us at 50 degrees. So we called and were able to get service when they recommended we swap 2 of 3 coils and some other maintenance to get the heater back on track. During the repair they managed to break some of the newly placed tiles by the heater but it was a tight space. Understandable. At this time they disconnected my AC system and said it was necessary to be able to wire it to the new heater system. They said they had to come back the following summer to connect it, when of course they tried to convince us to replace our AC instead of even hooking it up. Which we stated we just wanted it plunged up, and they barely connected it while leaving exposed wires and wire ties exposed to the weather. I mentioned the cracked and broken tiles to the "Son" "servicing" our AC to re-connect it, and he disappeared. Came back with his father the business owner to yell and fuss and say they didn't do any damage. This is all before I knew their next move, because mind you he still hadn't hooked our AC back up. Soooo, the finally agreed to just hook up what we had as they had originally promised. Which I believe they still wanted to charge us for, but it was not charged because we were told it was included. They also proceeded to loosen our Freon connection to allow it to leak over the summer so when we went to use it again, it was naturally almost empty due to the slow leak on a screw left loose. So of course I'm sure they were hoping this would cause us to doubt our decision to keep our old AC, even though there is nothing wrong with it, just had to have it charged, by someone else, anyone else really. Whom was nice enough to point out all kinds of issues with how it was set up electrically, corrected it all, and mentioned a loose screw, causing the leak. All good now, just wouldn't recommend the business. Thankfully the heater still works though. read more
