I have been using Delta Heating and Cooling since I bought my house 11 years ago because the prior owner left a Delta business card on the fridge. They had been servicing the same house for years. I am on a twice a year service and maintenance schedule, and really appreciate how efficient and professional their staff is (Al is our usual technician). Scam artists. It was really hot under our house so my wife had Delta come take a look. They charged is $160 to put a lid back on our duct work and tape it on. They were there for 20 minutess. When my wife questioned the price they bullied her into paying, stating they would no leave without being paid. read more

My a/c went out on the Saturday the 2nd of the 4th of July weekend so I had to wait til business the 5th for office to open! Since it was a factory order part, we ordered on July 5th overnight delivery and they installed the next day on the 6th! I have utilized this local business on at least two occasions over the past 5 years. Both were a semi-emergency wherein we were either going to be very Cold, or very Hot. They responded both times within hours, diagnosed and fixed the problem on both occasions, and were professional, courteous, friendly, and efficient. To top this off, the rates were quite reasonable and well worth the alternative. I will continue to call Delta with any HVAC issues I encounter, and would recommend them to anyone. The service tech from 4-5 years ago is still working [Derrick, I believe], and the technician today [Eric] was equally impressive. I am impressed by longevity of service and career path, as it at least appears to demonstrate a mutually satisfactory business relationship from both employer and employee. "I am going to install an TXV valve." "How much?" "$650." "Will it make my house cooler on hot days." "Most definitely." I call to schedule appointment to have TXV valve installed. Ask again, "Will it really make my house cooler on hot days." "Yes," says the lady on the phone. Hot day comes, and it is 81 degrees in my house. I have technician come back out and explain why my house is 80 degrees. He runs tests, says everything is working fine, but that my AC unit is underpowered. "But I just paid $650 to have my house cooler, and I double checked with two different people at the company who said it would cool down my house." "Yes, but your unit is not large enough." "How come the last technician did not tell me that? And then charge me $650 to get my house cooler only to have you come out and tell me it can't be done." "Well he was just treating the symptoms." "I paid $650 to have someone treat the symptoms but not fix the problem. Although I specifically asked him if it would fix the problem, you're saying it never could have been done? Can I have my money back?" "Again, your unit is not large enough." "So had you been the first technician you would have told me that and I would have saved $650?" "I'm not sure. But your unit is not large enough." "So why did he say he could make my house cooler?" You get the idea...this went on for 30 minutes. Finally he said his boss would call me. I never received a call. $650 is a lot of money to just be guessing. If they would have done the right thing, or even offered a partial refund, I would be more understanding. But to charge me despite me asking it they were sure the $650 repair job would work...that is just disappointing. read more

Glenn is our life saver. We've used Delta in the past for a fan replacement and some minor work to our A/C but just recently, our A/C stopped working! We bid the work out to 7 companies in town, some of them actually never even sent us the quote! It wasn't like that with Glenn. He was so quick to come and give us a quote in person. Delta was booked out by about 2 weeks but we were happy to wait. Their techs came, got the job done and Glenn came to check up and make sure everything went smoothly and answered any questions we may have. I highly recommend Delta for any A/C issues. read more

Just had my AC unit replaced by Delta. They did a great job at a fair price. I've done other business with Delta in the past and I've always been happy with their work. Delta seems to be a very honest and professional company. Regarding other Yelp negative comments... get a quote from other companies. I'm sure you will find Delta to be very competitive. Our old heat pump was on its way out and we called a few places for quotes. Glenn gave us the best price and only included what we actually needed, and not run up the tab. Since our old unit was going out Glenn bent over backwards to help us keep the old one going until our installation date. On installation day the crew arrived on time and ready to work. Our stairs and carpet were covered with drop clothes to collect the fallout from the attic. The new unit was professionally installed and looks and works great. After the equipment was installed John showed me how to program the new thermostat and link it to my modem and gave me all the service manuals, etc. The new Rheem heat pump runs smooth and quiet, looks great, and keeps the whole house at an even temperature. I will recommend Delta to everyone. read more

At 8:00 AM on Monday, we called Delta because our old heat pump, which we bought from them over 10 years ago, wasn't keeping up with our unseasonably cold weather and our house was around 55 degrees. By 9:00 AM, their repairman, Al, was at work fixing our HP and inspecting our very old forced air back-up unit to see if it would be safe to turn it on in an emergency. I was VERY impressed by both Al, who fixed the HP quickly and explained what to do in extreme temperatures and by the rapid service from Delta. Impressed--but not surprised. We have had consistently good service from Delta on other properties. Later this year, we will ask them to replace the old unit, but, for now, we are just enjoying being warm. My home had been service by Delta by the previous owners, so I called their emergency line today b/c my a/c suddenly wasn't working. The recorded message said that I should expect a call in about 30 minutes... and nearly 12 hours later, still no call! (and I clearly left my phone number twice in my voicemail) I went with another company, who was very responsive and reasonable, and ended up signing up for the other company's maintenance service. We are very, very impressed with Delta Heating and Cooling. They were referred by neighbors and we could not be more thrilled. Our heat went out and we had two conflicting diagnosis which ultimately looked like we needed a new system. When Michael came out the next day, he spent more than an hour of his time assessing the needs of our system, inside and out, and the condition and efficiency of the duct work of our older home. He patiently explained everything, and conveyed first class professionalism and knowledge. When he sent the clear, thorough quote that evening, he offered to send a tech out to get us heat until the new system could be installed. That basic decency of concern that we had heat was pure gold and a very welcome level of quality and compassion in this trade! Good to his word, Travis came out exactly when Kelly scheduled him the next day and worked diligently until he got us heat. Michael corresponded quickly with emailed information and responded to my questions in a very timely manner. Travis was polite, knowledgeable and diligent at sticking to the job at hand until he provided us with heat. He had a fantastic attitude and communicated en route and after finishing. Stellar performance, Travis! We are scheduled to have our replacement and look forward to continued first class service from Delta Heating and Cooling. Boy were we nervous. Our heat pump went out right before company was coming and a weeklong family vacation, I called Delta and scheduled an appointment 10 days out, Monday morning, at 8:30. (She offered same day) They were prompt, courteous and WOW! We were worried they would try to tell us we needed a new heat pump but he found a leak and fixed it and put freon back in the system. About $150 and repaired. We will be repeat customers. read more
