We stayed on the 7th floor we could see and hear all the planes taking off. The noise wasn't bothersome at all. I loved the free parking which is what made me pick this hotel. In the mornings you can see the horses on the track that was interesting to my kid. The room was spacious and I got it at a good rate and we got an upgrade room at check in. The staff were really nice and not rude like the reviews said. We used room service to order a pizza and they got it to us pretty quick. The pool area is wonderful. I don't gamble so I can't comment on the casino I would absolutely come back here.

Let me start by saying that they've really put in a lot of effort in equipping this place with a bunch of games. From darts, to bingo, to computer slots to table tennis to pool. The place is a pretty huge size. But the funny thing is that on a Friday night, the place was empty. The kitchen & bar closed at 11pm. The only thing alive was the bingo room which had quite a bit of people, who left the room right after the bingo game was over. I am not sure why the management of this place isn't promoting this place. If I was in charge, I would host weekend parties here, by calling in DJs or live bands and of course advertising to get a decent crowd here. Monte Carlo is located just east of Dundas and Dixie, but is not visible from the main roads, which made it hard to find. There are many pool tables and a handful of snooker tables that take up the large space, which consists of one long main room, and two smaller rooms. The staff were accommodating when I informed them that I had a Groupon. They even gave us a reminder when we had 5 minutes left in our promotional 2 hour limit, which was very nice of them. The drinks here are decently priced, with a beer costing about $3.50. The appetizers are decently priced as well, but don't expect anything special. I ordered the jalepeno poppers and they were clearly just heated from a frozen state, with some being colder than others. While the food was just alright, the actual pool tables were quite good! The tables are well kept, and ours didn't have any rips or bumps that would've impacted our game. There was ample space between tables, so at no point did we ever feel cramped for space. The cues are also decent and plentiful. I'd definitely recommend this place to others for those who want a pure pool experience. I've been to a handful of others in the GTA, and driven by some more; in spite of potential bias, I feel the Rose is nicest. Beautifully designed, no poor seats, terrific acoustics, a separate smaller theatre for smaller performances, a massive lobby which itself is well-suited for events. There's also free parking and coat check. It's perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Brampton with several restaurant options all within the same block. The Rose (I believe) also owns the fountain in front which is often converted into a mini-stage for local performances in the summer and compliments what's happening in Garden Square. I should award it 5 stars by these virtues alone, but the often lacklustre performance lineup can't really be disassociated with the venue - especially since it effectively organized by the theatre. It's not to say there are never worthwhile shows, but a bit too few and far between. I'm actually a bit surprised there aren't more since it is a such a perfect venue - perhaps its due to the fact that Casinos can offer more money to performers. In any case, a wonderful spot and hoping that it can draw even more shows and that the local population gets behind it.
