Stay away from this joke of a business.. I was referred to this company because I had an electrical issue with my 2014 Chevy cargo van. Made an appointment with the owner and then the owner ended up calling me twice to reschedule me dropping the vehicle off. Finally on Friday 8 days ago I dropped the van off. I was then immediately told he charged $200 an hour and that they would diagnose the problem fast and then call me and let me know the resolution. 4 days later I had to go in there on a Tuesday morning to find out what was going on with my band. I didn't find out from the owner they hadn't even touched my van. I asked when do you think you'll know, the owner responded maybe this week hopefully. Few days later I get a phone call stating they were having trouble figuring it out, but they had changed some hoses on the engine area to help with the AC and that they should have a resolution within the next day oh and by the way I'd have $700 bill. Now mind you they had my vehicle at this point six days it only worked on the vehicle according to them for three and a half hours change some hoses and I have a bill of over $700. The next morning I get a phone call from his mechanic telling me that there was air sensors they thought needed to be replaced but they weren't sure. My question to them was if you are specializing in electrical automotive and you're charging $200 an hour that is dealership pricing why can't you find out what is wrong. And then they tried to charge me another $900 close to $1,000. Now mind you at this point they had my van I believe what probably 8 days at this point. I told her that I would not be moving forward with any more work and I would be in to pay for the the $700. I received a phone call Friday late afternoon stating that they were leaving at 4:00 p.m. and I had to get the vehicle out of there, that he had no room. But yet the owner had my vehicle now at this point every bit of eight days if not longer and because now I'm stopping the work you want my vehicle out of there. The owner who was a younger guy didn't even have enough respect to come out and explain to me what was wrong with the vehicle or give me a reason why they couldn't fix it. Had some older gentlemen have no idea who he was take my card charge me 3% fee on top of the mechanics fee and then print me out paperwork that was faded and you couldn't even read. First of all these people are a scam, as long as you're willing to pay their overcharged prices and let them finagle you out of every time they'll keep your vehicle the minute you stop them they want you gone and out of their lives. That is not good customer service. I mean so be advised public I paid $700 for some hoses to be replaced that's it that's all they did. And the amount of money that they charge is unbelievable when they only have one mechanic. They have one person working on the vehicles back there. So when you got multiple vehicles in one guy working you are being charged for hours that you're not even having your vehicle touched and they're going to bill you for it. This company is shady, somebody should turn them in for their exorbitant pricing. And one last thing to add, the owner stated and said he stood behind his word that hit $200 an hour that covered all the parts and everything that needed to be done. So the three and a half hours they charged me at 7 00 and dollars and some change, then they're telling me that the flow sensors including the labor after telling me they're charging me for the parts wasn't part of the $200 was going to run me up a bill close to $1,000 and they weren't even sure if that was it. So you see what they did they went through one thing and then hit me with a bill and then they went to a second scenario not sure how to fix it and remember these people are so called electrical experts that's a joke and then even then they did not know how to fix it and at the end of the day I was told you probably need a new Cadillac converter. So when I said why not just replace a Cadillac converter and being get done with it be over it they wanted to go these other routes first meaning all we were trying to do is milk me for hours and labor in parts that was totally not necessary. So if they try to do this to me and I was smart enough to stop it immediately how many unsuspecting trusting clients and people public customers have they had in the past days weeks months and years the trust these people that they've done this to. I can imagine and I can guarantee it's not just me they pull this on. So if you have any sense you will run when you see this company. They are not honorable, they are liars and they are con people. And that is exactly what they are. I have a Shelby Cobra Replica that I just bought. Electrical system was wired wrong on it. Car didn't start half the time. This father and son team just worked on it all day and rewired everything. Previous owner could not figure out why car wouldn't charge and finally decided to sell it because of the hassle. It now starts every time and all the electrical has been rewired and it is now perfect thanks to Isaac and his dad. I will be using them for anything that may come up in the future. Best shop in Escondido! I was having electrical problems with my car where if I turned on the A/C it would shut off the radiator fan and overheat my car, either i was cool or the engine was cool I take it to a mechanic and he can't figure it out, says try an electrician. I go to one and he has it for 6 days and doesn't find the problem!! Luckily I found Delta! I take it to them in the morning and by the end of the day they knew exactly what the problem was, a defective fuse box module. They called the dealership and the part cost $1,000; however,they offered to go down to the salvage yards in the morning to look for a used module if I wanted, they found one for $100! Car was ready by noon. Issac and Manny were professional and very communicative. The shop was large, clean and I could see plenty of equipment that seemed modern which is always a good sign. If you have problems with your car don't do what I did just go straight to these guys. read more

I am about customer service. I was given a referral to a different place. I called and the owner said he would have to call me back. After 2 days that didn't happen so I called back and owner again said he would call me back. That is the end of THAT story. I found Delta and spoke to Isaac YESTERDAY, dropped my vehicle off this morning and by 10:30 Isaac called and said my car was done. I believed my electrical issue was going to cost me a big chunk of money. When I took my car in, I explained the problem, Isaac gave me a few ideas of what the problem might be, but said he would get in and check out the problem and call me in a hour. Guess what happened an hour later, YUP Isaac called me! He wasn't done but wanted to tell me what wasn't wrong... but yet hasn't found the problem. How cool just to let me know the status. 60 minutes later Isaac called back and said he found the problem and fixed it and it was pretty much all labor costs. I AM A GREAT FAN OF DELTA AUTO ELECTRIC! My first experience with Delta Auto electric occurred in January of 2017. My 1992 Silverado pickup was found to have high fuel pressure, was running cooler than normal, engine was misfiring and ECU was not functioning properly. All of these problems were investigated and solutions applied and I left the shop impressed by the owner Manny's experience and knowledge. Later in 2017 I returned to Delta Auto Electric and Manny, together with his son Issac, diagnosed and fixed non functioning instrument cluster lighting. Replaced headlight switch to restore function of headlights and tail lights. They also installed new set of headlight assemblies with high intensity discharge lights. In 2018 they tested the throttle sensor with oscilloscope and discovered that a new TPS was needed as well as a new ignition module. In 2019 the Silverado failed California Emissions Test. They addressed rich mixture condition replacing 02 sensor. In 2020 custom after market headlight assemblies with high and low beam 40W LEDs were installed in the Silverado. In 2018 I bought a new Subaru BRZ ts. In 2022 Issac removed an aftermarket security system from the BRZ that mal functioned restoring the factory alarm system. Beginning in 2020 I asked Delta Auto Electric to take responsibility for California Emissions testing: they take my vehicles to an Emission Testing site they work with and repair any issues that might emerge. I no longer need to find someone to fix an emissions issue and take vehicle back for a retest, if there is a problem! Recently, I heard some noise emitting from the front passenger side of my BRZ. Issac found that the front sway bar had a bolt that needed to be tightened down and the rattle disappeared. Delta Auto Electric has an extensive network of auto repair specialists they call upon, if they are unable to fix a problem. As with auto emissions testing, I can count on them to diagnose issues and bring resources together to address problems. This is a great relief at a time when otherwise diagnosis is one problem, if you can get an appointment, and locating someone to actually fix the vehicle is another problem! Delta Auto Electric is my main provider of auto repair services. Issac, Manny's son, has taken over managing the business and is a pleasure to work with. Is 10 Stars an Option? (TL;DR - You want these guys to fix your car!) I am so happy I found Issac and Manny. Finding an honest mechanic who knows what they're doing is really, really hard. Even if you do your research. I know because I just went through it. Just before bringing my truck to Delta Auto Electric, I went to a mechanic in San Diego who told me he could find and fix the problem with my airbag light. But after 1 1/2 hours of diagnostics ($172), though he said he found the problem (wiring, he said), he told me I needed to find a mechanic who specialized in automotive electronics to fix it. And not only did he not fix the issue, it turns out he didn't even diagnose it right. Then I found Issac at Delta Auto Electric. He ended up spending almost the entire day working on my truck, trying to chase down the problem. After several hours, he isolated it to one component. He then called around to his parts suppliers and found a reasonably priced, used replacement. In Otay Mesa. So he hopped in his car and drove all the way from Escondido to Otay Mesa to get the part! Most shops would have told me to get it myself or told me to wait until they could get it. Unfortunately, while the part solved the main issue, it created another, so he was not able to install it. But he then helped me find a working replacement online and installed that a few days later. All at a VERY reasonable price, given the circumstances. And now my wife and I can drive around Southern California roads knowing that my airbag system will work. That's a big deal. I've seen a review here saying there was a lack of communication. My experience was the complete opposite. They told me everything that was going on and what the next steps would be. I never felt out of the loop. Issac is honest, talented, determined ... and he cares. (He even offered me a slice of Pizza after I had been there all day!) That's a combination that is hard to find. I will be taking my truck and my wife's car back there to fix some other issues. I HIGHLY recommend you do the same. read more

Had my RV worked on at this place almost 1 year ago. RV broken into, damage to inside, stuff stolen, entered through window. Issac said it was the lock on the door. $500 plus, nothing electrical was fixed in the RV. Said there was no diagram, owners book in RV with diagram. Had RV for 8 days. Left out the first night, next week they kept inside. Manny admitted he step on the couch, and his foot went through the particle board. Issac denied it up and down. Had to replace the ignition from the break in, I got charged labor. Estimate 2-4 hours, charged 5 hours. DO NOT leave your vehicle here. Manny is honest, as Isaac's truck states on his back window, he's a BITCH!! Marinemomof3 My review has been deleted once, Yelp says they paid to have it removed! After a terrible experience with an Auto Electric shop in Mira Mesa, I let my poor car sit in the driveway for 3 whole years. After ruining another brand new battery, I finally started researching where to take my SUV for both electrical and mechanical work near by. We brought the car in to Delta Electric in Escondido after hearing all good things about this shop and it's mechanics. Wow! What a great experience I had with Issac, the owner, who turned my dreaded auto repair into a positive experience. Not only did Issac call and explain each problem that had occurred, he also wanted to be sure that I understood the issues while giving me affordable options! I immediately knew I had chosen the exact right shop and mechanic to get our car in tip top shape. His labor was reasonable and he took the time to itemize the invoice for our future reference. Lastly, Issac even offered to take the car to be smogged knowing it was behind on the registration. I was referred to Delta Auto Electric by a mechanic in Escondido. My car had its TPMS light and Engine light on when I purchased it used. The Lexus dealership wanted to charge me $1200 to replace the 4 TPMS sensors and reset the system. Thank goodness I came here to save me the arm and a leg. They reconnected my connection back to the OBM machine so that my system could be reset at Discount Tire, and without having to go Lexus where they charge an arm and a leg. My 2006 GMC truck's aftermarket sunroof electrical system was not working and I was unable to open it. Not even GMC was able to figure it out. Recommended by JC Power Audio Shop in Escondido CA, I took my truck to Delta Auto Electric where Isaac and his Dad discovered that there was a missing voltage to the system and found a wiring that was hanging in the engine compartment which was for the sunroof system. In order to repair it the wire was extended and soldered the connections in order for it to reach the power source. My sunroof is working GREAT now. I also requested new LED LOW BEAM BULBS which was installed. Now my truck has a new face lift and looks nice and I can especially see much better at night. Isaac and his Dad are so responsible that during repairs the facing around the radio area cracked and ordered a new one for me and immediately replaced it.
