Well Air Canada is a penny pinching airline that is not customer service oriented, kind of like most U.S. based airlines. Qatar on the other hand, is very customer service oriented. The flight attendents treat you with dignity and respect, not like just another passenger. I would fly this airline again sometime in the future if I am given the choice. The only thing a little questionable to me is all of the religious stuff on their TV choices. I understand that you have a choice not to watch any of the religious stuff, but just seems a little weird. Otherwise, everyone on board treats passengers very well.

That process was straightforward - kiosk and then check in with a staff member, who told us our refunds would be automatically issued. Check in with United was also quick. Clear signage towards security which was also a smooth process. Overall, minimal wait times to get through the airport. Huge Duty Free as soon as you get past security. Definitely spent a good hour here shopping for items. Picked up Spanish wine, some duty free exclusive gin, snacks, and jarred goods. Signage towards gates was also clear and easy to follow. Quick stop by the lounge and then made it to our gate as they were boarding. Overall smooth experience.

Why didn't the rep simply explain that? I wait for 40 minutes and get to the check in rep who tells me I need to go to the next line over to pay for it. What? Why can't I just pay at the location I dropped my bag off. Turns out I can, but the rep never told me I could. It gets better. So I go to the next line over to the bag drop and wait 15 minutes at which point the rep tells me in need to go to THE OTHER LINE at the service window to pay. I then wait another 15 minutes at the service window to pay and then I had to go back to the original check in rep (and wait a couple more minutes) to get the receipt for my luggage. Please total that up. Yes, I had to wait in 3 lines (almost 4) and well over an hour just to check my bag. That is the absolute antithesis of anything I would consider "Easy". EasyJet, please review your processes and staff training to be more informative and accommodating.
