In our case, the plane from El Paso to Dallas was so small that even roller bags were too large for the overhead compartments. Passengers were given the option to get colored tags and drop their larger carryons on the jet bridge before boarding, and pick them back up at the jet bridge upon arrival in Dallas, or they could check them for free and pick them up on the carousel at their final destination. The 2 guys working the gate and doing the boarding were friendly and accommodating, as was the attendant on the plane during our very short hop to Dallas. Though the regional jet we flew on was a smaller plane, the ride was steady without excessive movement or turbulence.

We went up to the gate and explained our situation to the American Airlines employee Ihsan, who went out of his way to make sure we made it to her graduation. He got us priority standby for the next available flight, and when we got confirmed seats, he personally hand delivered our tickets to us at the gate. Ihsan was a total life saver and I really appreciate him for saving me. My Girlfriend was going to maybe miss her graduation if it wasn't for the amazing customer service Ihsan and American Airlines gave us.

They told us check-in was closed and we'd have to try our luck at the gate, NO GUARANTEES. At the gate, we were told it would be $99 per bag for "late check-in." We explained we were there on time, and the downstairs staff just walked off, but the agent didn't care. She eventually lowered it to $99 for both bags, like she was doing us a favor or earning commission. To make matters worse, the flight was then delayed for over an hour. I asked for a refund since clearly we weren't "late" anymore, nope, too bad, money already taken, talk to customer service. So I did. And guess what? Customer service told me Frontier doesn't even charge for late bag check-in. Oh? Then what did I pay for? They gave me a generous $50 voucher, which might just cover a tray table rental next time. When I asked again about the charge, they changed their story; suddenly, it was for overweight bags. Impressive, considering no one actually weighed them. Another blatant lie. We weighed our bags at the airport and were well under the limit. To wrap things up nicely, our bags took over 40 minutes to arrive at baggage claim in Vegas. I guess they needed a nap after such a dramatic journey. The whole experience was a joke. I sort of read up on Allegiant Airlines in the past. Unfortunately, I hadn't read good things about…read morethem. To be honest, I didn't really care since the flights offered were non-stop and pretty inexpensive. I decided to go with them because of this. I'm sure it couldn't be worse than taking a bus somewhere. Let me tell you...that can really be the pits! Been there, done that! I'll try to avoid that. Lol. We'll save those stories for other days. Anyway...My flight to Las Vegas from El Paso (vice versa) ran smoothly. The airport staff could've been a little bit friendlier in El Paso but that's fine. The staff in Las Vegas was friendlier and more helpful. I also booked the hotel through Allegiant online. Everything with this mostly ran smoothly. I did a separate review on the hotel experience for MGM Grand. I will say that I appreciated the complimentary night! I was charged for a two-night stay rather than three. Right now is a good time to travel if you feel safe enough to do so. The planes were spotless and seemed like they were newer models. All of the staff followed safety precautions by wearing masks. They offered passengers masks and gloves. They asked passengers to keep their masks on at all times while in the waiting area and on the plane. There are some minor complaints that I have. 1.) I wish they would fly out to more destinations from El Paso. Right now, they're only flying to Las Vegas, cities in Florida and San Diego. Allegiant...please consider adding Houston to your list of destinations offered in El Paso! I do see that they fly into Hobby Airport but not directly from El Paso. We usually go through George Bush Airport but that's fine. Why am I asking for this? Because I want to go visit my nephews in Houston more often! It is always SO expensive to fly to Houston with every other airline I've used. I have no idea why! The drive to H-town from here takes about 10 hours. 2). They charge ridiculous amounts for drinks and snacks on the flight. They aren't complimentary. A beer is around $9 and a can of soda is $3. The snacks are around $5. Water is $3. Another thing...It also costs around $30 for each bag you check in (give or take). However, you are allowed to take one carry on bag on the plane. Overall, I recommend Allegiant Airlines. I'll definitely use them again to fly out to Vegas and maybe the other destinations they offer us in El Paso at this time. I'm looking into driving to Phoenix and catching a flight to Houston from there. We'll see... I'm saying 4.5 but rounding up to 5 stars. :)

This was at Eastside SunTrevor located at 1718 N. Zaragoza. My neighbor & I had an appointment with one of the agents at that place. On 31st of October at 10:AM to pay the Downpayment that we've been talking about for our trip. The problem was when we were conducting business at their office about a one hour later I needed to go to the restroom. So I asked them & They said their restroom is only for the Employees going as far to tell me to go to the next door to Popeyes or theother side insurance company's restroom. I couldn't believe what I was hearing... I even asked to see the manager & explained it to-her that I'm Elderly person my bladder is not dependable as it used to be therefore I need to go now.. but they wouldn't give it up still want me to go to next door... keep saying it's their policy. Most of us, when the time comes to go you have to go ... I couldn't believe what was happening. I have been with SunTravel before but never experienced anything like it.... The reason we went to the Eastside, we live close to buy it. It only takes five minutes to get there. So instead of driving way out to the west side since it's the same company we never expected anything like this... What upsets me was that they didn't have the simple common decency of allowing their clients who is elderly need to use a restroom. I don't think the president of this company Mr.Paul Corman, will never allow it something like this. Anyway, next morning on Friday the November 1st, at 9 AM I called Westside wanted to talk to Mr. Corman, but they told me he's not in so I asked for the manager and manager who's name is Ann, came on when I explained what happened she sounded like she's not surprised and she said it's their contract whatever that means... but I told her that I want Mr. Coleman to know what is going on out there and then she said that she will let him know. There is no response whatsoever from them. But I want people of El Paso to know that's how they conduct their business. The way I see it, if they don't want anybody to use their restroom, they shouldn't be having business in the public first place.

One bonus was that, as we got text notices that our flight was delayed, we happened to be seated at the restaurant and we could simply turn around and clearly see our gate and when they were about to start boarding, which groups they'd called, etc. As others have stated, this airport does a pretty impressive job with decorating the main entrance area for various holidays.

Waiting area consist of wooden church bench and a vending machine Room where you can plug your phone to charge. The train was late and never got notified until 30mins AFTER i arrived at the station. Once the train arrived, Downloading took about 10 mins Original take off 1:47, Left at 2:54 Tips- Bring your own food to include your own beverages. You only get water and ice included in your ticket. Going on a Long haul, bring blanket and pillow. One lady brought a fitted sheet to drape over her seat...good idea If, like me , you have a neighbor, its ok. You can hang out at the lounge or snack bar...pretty empty. bring your charger. Outlets everywhere. If you have an enthusiatic conductor, he'll point out key things along the way. I see why they named it the sunset route. Right after Lordsburg,  the sun started to set...beautiful however the scenery was distorted by the water spots on the window. Beware- High prices on snacks...as expected Rude people who don't use ear plugs for their mobile electronics, however, letting the conductor know nipped it at the bud. My 7hour trip to include a 45mins delay was long enough to experience Amtrak. I must admit, it was an enjoyable trip

The first bathroom…read moredoor on the first level of train 2/422, 34109, coach class, I had locked the door to that bathroom & as I was attempting to exit, I attempted to unlock the door, but for some peculiar reason, the damn door would not unlock! So I banged it from the inside & yelling to get a staff's attention & sure enough, one of them came because I heard that male staff on the opposite side of the door & loudly asked me if I was one one behind that door & J yelled I was! So he managed to get the door open & that's when I asserted that door lock needs replacement, but he was dismissive saying it just got alittle jammed (as if nothing really just happened.). But I am bringing this matter to the public's attention that the doors on those restrooms need to be thoroughly inspected before someone else experiences the same thing! It's a safety issue & should not happen at all like this. But other than that, I have had nothing, but a very good experience traveling on AmTrak. I have been a frequent AmTrak train traveler since September 2022. I will continue traveling on AmTrak, but I would like to see improvements on those bathroom locks.
