Warped ceiling from leak 7 months after buying it
    Chad F.

Terrible customer service and no communication on how resolve a major problem. Not to mention they did not disclose a leak issue from our camper slide out and now we will likely lose $10k when we sell it. The repair cost is $5k on top of the $15k we owe on it. The photos attached says it all. They literally patched a leak with molding used in a home and not an RV. Of course as an inexperienced buyer we never saw that. The walk through is your last chance to back out and we didn't. These crooks have tons of fake reviews on Google to keep their ratings up. Unless you're buying a brand new camper from them, stay away.

Had to have my AC replaced shortly after I purchased my used 2016 Aspen Trail RV, didn't purchase the extended warranty but the General manager offered to replace my AC at cost but was still more than I wanted to spend.... so I went online and found a new AC unit at a cheaper price and the General Manager still honored his promise to install the AC unit at no cost. My advice is to purchase the extended warranty if you buy a used unit.

    Schedule Service form website

POOR POOR!! Customer Service!! I Tried to make a service appointment 4 times. 1st time: I called a man said the women that schedules appointments does not work on Thursdays and I should call back. I don't see why he couldn't make my appointment but whatever. 2nd time: A man answered and took my information for the women to call me back. No call back at all. Again I don't see why he couldn't make my appointment. 3rd time: I filled out the "Schedule Service" on https://www.delmarvarvcenter.com/rv-service . And Again no call back. 4th time: A week later I called again and was put on hold. 3 times a man picks up and ask what I am holding for and I tell them "I am just waiting to schedule a service appointment" put back on hold each time. Again I don't see why he couldn't make my appointment. After 10 minutes a man gets on and tells me the women is not available. So I tell him this is my forth time attempting to schedule a service appointment. When I told him I even filled out the "Schedule Service" on https://www.delmarvarvcenter.com/rv-service he had no clue about the form. Needless to say I never scheduled a service appointment and I will never call back.

First camp with the new 192RBS

My wife and I purchased our first RV, from Delmarva RV Center in Milford, DE. We had a great experience. Our salesman was Nick Mauncele, and he was awesome. Being our first RV, I had lots of questions. Nick was very patient, answered all of our questions, and was not pushy at all. Indeed my wife often accuses me of "researching things to death" and I suppose that's true in this case: it took me 5 months to decide exactly what I wanted and where to buy it. Nick let us go at our own pace. We never felt pressured by him. When we finally decided on the brand and model (Coachmen Freedom Express 192RBS) they did not have one in stock. No matter, they were perfectly willing to order one with exactly the options we preferred. There were no hidden fees. Since I had done my research so well, I knew the price I asked for was a very good one, fair and reasonable for both sides. I kept asking whether there were hidden fees of some sort, No, said Nick, he assured me that this was the "walk-out price" and he was right. No last-minute surprises. Of course the sales manager tried to offer us an extended warranty, I expected him to do that, but we politely declined and the price quoted was the price paid to the penny. Mike did the pre-delivery inspection for us. Like Nick, he was very patient with us, did not rush us at all, and explained the entire suite of systems on the travel trailer and how everything worked. I didn't time it, but I know we were with him a couple of hours at least, as I had lots of questions. We did have some water leak problems, not surprising given how fast all RV manufacturers are slapping these things out, but Delmarva made it right for us. In our case the shower leaked to the outside of the unit, badly, when we took a shower. I also made a rookie mistake; when I took off from the campsite to return the RV to Delmarva for warranty repair, I neglected to raise the power tongue jack, and destroyed the jack. Fortunately they had one in stock, and replaced the tongue jack at the same time they repaired the shower. So my thanks to Jeff in the Service Department for his speedy repairs - he did two jobs late in the afternoon right before closing when he expected only one. By now everyone should expect that I give my highest ratings to Delmarva RV Center. I'd definitely buy another RV from them again, for both their sales and their service. Ask for Nick in sales, Mike for the PDI, and Jeff in service. (Sorry Mike and Jeff, but I didn't get your last names.) Thanks guys. You got our recommendation, and you earned it. Ray

Purchased our third travel trailer from this dealership. Eric "Jet" Jensen was a fantastic salesman and Meg provided a great walk thru.

Buyer beware. The $798 is probably tax tags title, $300 admin fee, $200 for propane-wash and demonstrate trailer to me. This is the main reason I never even came to look it. Since you basically called me a liar, I uploaded the photo of buyers agreement you sent me. I really have no issue with you saying that's the price and best I can do, fine I went elsewhere, the added fees sent me to another dealer. 5/7/19 I see you have edited your response to me 3 times already, let's be honest Dave. That buyers agreement has $690 in fees beyond the selling price, when I see stuff like that I go elsewhere. If you had not sent me this I more than likely would come to look at it, I work hard for my money and spend it wisely. These fees are all padded to make the dealership money, which your in business to make. I don't pay an admin fee, you have to do that to sell it anyway so why would I pay a padded fee so you can sell it ? I was actually putting my shoes on to come look at it when you texted me this, when I saw the extra $690 I bailed. You may simply say everyone pays this, not me.

The highlights: First location I called was Smyrna, at 4pm on May 20th. No answer. Called twice more before end of business; no answer either time. Called the next morning at 10am and spoke with Tony, who said he was going to check on a Jayco trailer they'd advertised online and call me back in 20 minutes. He didn't call back. This should have been an indication. Nonetheless, and with funds in hand, I found a nice little trailer at the Seaford location. After several calls, all of which I made, I arrived at a deal on a 2020 Aspen Trail and placed a deposit. Great, right? Meh. It took four more calls to finalize a date when I could drive out and pick up my camper. No return calls, so I keep calling until they have time to talk about accepting my money on the deal we made. My schedule was open, their earliest opportunity was a full two after we'd agreed to the sale for a trailer they had on the lot. On the upside, the camper is great! We take it out the first time and decide we want to buy a cover for our spare tire, at which point my wife comments, "it's the wrong size." These are not words a husband longs to hear. But she's right: the spare is an inch bigger than the tires on the trailer. No idea why this is the case. Over many more calls to Delmarva RV to arrange for a correctly-sized replacement - replies, in order, were: 1. "It's a warranty issue" (was it?) 2. "I'll call you Monday" (he didn't) 3. "It's on the truck" (it wasn't) 4. "My manufacturer Rep needs to do something...or something...I'll call you back" (he didn't) 5. "Maybe you'd have better luck with a different dealer" (what? ARE YOU FOR REAL?) I then called the Manufacturer, Keystone, who told me they would reach out to the dealership to arrange to have a replacement shipped to me. 10 minutes after I hung up, I got the ONLY phone call I would ever get from anyone at Delmarva RV. 6. After hearing from the manufacturer, the sales manager calls me to say "great news, we're gonna ship you one." Great news, indeed! If only. Nothing happens for a week, so I called Delmarva back... again... to confirm it's been shipped. 7. "The Manufacturer is gonna ship you one." I call Keystone to verify. I'm not surprised when they have no idea what I'm talking about. I then have to explain the whole situation again, and when I say the words "Delmarva RV," the manufacturer rep audibly sighs. After doing some digging, the Keystone rep informs me that: a. Delmarva RV called their rep and then dropped it hoping I'd forget. Had I not followed up again, this would never have been addressed. b. Delmarva RV never registered the camper in my name after I purchased it. This matters because even though Keystone wants to make it right, the paperwork doesn't indicate that I own the camper - so they can't do anything to help me directly because as far as they can see, Delmarva RV still owns the camper. To be clear, I'd paid for it weeks before. From here, Keystone customer service really steps up for me and begins calling Delmarva RV daily to get this sorted. They, like me, receive no answers and no calls back, ever. After more than a week of this, I started calling Delmarva RV again and after several tries, got someone on the phone. During this awkward and laborious call, I waited while they registered the camper to me, so that Keystone could send me the tire. Within hours of this happening, Keystone had authorized, packed, and shipped my tire which I received July 10th. So to recap: it took a funded buyer almost two months and upwards of 40 one way phone calls to get a camper, properly registered and equipped. Every salesperson I spoke with was elusive and uninterested in my business - especially after I placed the deposit. On a bright note - the receptionist, Amanda, was very kind and the tech, Jodi, who did the walkthrough was nice too, even if he missed the incorrectly-sized spare. Not faulting the guy, I missed it too, but he was courteous to me and I think that's worth noting. This has been a long review, and likely painful to read. But if you've made it this far, there is an upside: you might just be made of strong enough stuff to grunt through a transaction with Delmarva RV. And that's totally an option. Or you could just buy from another dealership.

We called to have them replaced, we're told they couldn't get us in until june, when Junes apt came around, since they are 2 hours away they told us it would take a week, but then that week said they couldn't get it done in time, so rescheduled us for Aug.1st. We had to take off work, 4 hour round trip to drop it off, the weekend before when we had it out the AC unit started freezing, and the fridge stoped cooling. Then we noticed what looked like the weld on our hitch breaking. when we brought it in we told them our main concern was the safety with the hitch because the weld looked bad. After a week of it being there and hearing nothing we called to check in, and we're told they had some sickness going around and we're backed up and wouldn't get to even LOOK at our camper, so come back and pick it up. We told them they had u til aug 17th, and that our hitch needs to be looked at it wasn't safe. finally we got ahold of Lisa who legitimized our fears that the weld was bad and she would make sure it was taken care of and wouldn't let it leave like that. another week went by, we heard nothing. the day before we go to pick it up we talked to someone up front who said that an inspector from Grand Design came down and looked at it, and said it was just an "ugly weld" but totally fine. they spray painted it black so it wouldn't "rust". and that the next day before we got there they would be doing the skylights and checking the AC. when my husband arrived around 5pm on the 17th, they had the camper still pulled out and the Forman said he "fixed" our AC. but didn't have any paper work on it, just that it was fixed. we asked about the skylights, he said he had to order them. We informed them they were ordered back in may and already there, he finally found the paperwork and said oh sorry I didn't know. The camper was there on a repair work order for the skylights! they knew they were there! we asked for the paper work on the hitch he said he didn't have it either but would email it to us. never did. We took the camper, my husband had an 8 hour trip to pick it up and bring it to the race track for the weekend. 3 tanks of gas WAISTED. they did NOTHING by Sunday the AC was freezing up again. when we opened the camper it smelled awful, because the few few things we left in the fridge and freezer were covered in mold Because the fridge stoped working completely. Once we got back home, because we had no service all weekend we called Lisa again and she has refused all return calls. We filed a claim with Grand Design, and i asked if they had copies of the work done and butch inspected by their company he said no such work order existed and there was nothing on our file about any diagnostic or repair that was done at all the 17 days it was at the shop. I am LIVID I have no idea if the RV is even structured properly and safe to have on the road because we were lied to! we have a big Moto community and quite a few have purchased from Delmarva. But after this experience we never will again. And I'll be telling all ours friends to do the same. I'm disgusted with the actions of the service department, and gaslighting of their manager to assure us everything would be handled and we gave them 5 months to prepare to service it, and 3 weeks to do a few hour job. And all they did was spray paint the hutch to be less noticeable.
