From the moment we pulled into their lot, Jimmy Hollister, the service manager met us and assisted us to the service area, with a welcoming smile and hello! What an awesome way to arrive and from that moment on, we were treated so well. He asked if we needed anything and even a bottle of water. Jimmy even greeted our dogs Puppy and Wiggles. It was amazing to have such good customer service! Each person we encountered met us with smiles and friendly greetings. Talk about great customer service. They even shared some good hacks that are valuable to know, especially us being new camper owners. I had previously been here for service one time, all went well but this is such an awesome change to literally be met and walked through the entire process with such great service! Terrible customer service and no communication on how resolve a major problem. Not to mention they did not disclose a leak issue from our camper slide out and now we will likely lose $10k when we sell it. The repair cost is $5k on top of the $15k we owe on it. The photos attached says it all. They literally patched a leak with molding used in a home and not an RV. Of course as an inexperienced buyer we never saw that. The walk through is your last chance to back out and we didn't. These crooks have tons of fake reviews on Google to keep their ratings up. Purchased a 2025 Forest River Vibe. First time we turned the air conditioner's on, one of them doesn't work. Because we are in a seasonal campground they won't travel to fix it. They gave me the number of someone, who wasn't really interested in fixing the air conditioner (he said you don't fix RV air conditioners; you replace them). He kept repeating that Forest River won't honor their warranty. He said they will look for a thousand ways to decline the warranty request. I called Delmarva back today and told them what he said. Charlie didn't seem to care. He referred me to the manufacturer. I reminded him that I purchased the camper from Delmarva and stressed the camper was only 2 mos old, and I need assistance from them. His response to help me, was to give me the phone number for the manufacturer. I called and had to leave a message. They were so accommodating during the purchase process, but that ended when the camper left their lot. read more

I had many friends refer me to buy a camper from Delmarva, so I trusted their advice. Salesman Eric was very nice, quick to answer questions, and was pleasant. I made my appointment, had my walkthrough and everything seemed okay. Went to the finance office, everything was fast and super easy, never felt pressured at all. My issue comes when I went to take this camper for Maryland State inspection where it failed. It failed due to 4 SEVERELY dry rotted tires, and the inspector said "I'm surprised they let this even leave the lot." The tires were covered in tire shine at the dealer, so it wasn't necessarily something I noticed. I called the dealership while I was still there, I was told someone would call me back. I called back about an hour later to find out that person was on vacation and was told the general manager would call me. Still have yet to hear from them. Disappointed to say the least. One of the arms of my camper's awning broke, so I took it to Delmarva RV Center for an estimate of repairs. I insisted that I only needed one arm, but they insisted I would need both arms as well as a new awning while adding that the company that supplies the awning parts only sells the arms in pairs. Thus, the estimate to repair the awning was about $2800 plus about $80 for the estimate, which was a charge they never informed me of beforehand. I called the company that makes the awning and bought one arm for $450 and put it on myself in about two hours. And it works great. I am not sure how Delmarva RV Center came up with $2800, but I am very disappointed in their service. read more

We bought a used 2019 Travel Trailer at Delmarva in December 2023. It was in excellent physical shape as if it had never been used. The styrofoam packing was still in the refrigerator, stove and microwave. We had it towed 2 hours away to a seasonal campground that did not open till April. We should have known something was seriously wrong due to the refrigerator, stove and microwave never being used. The first time we went to stay at it in April, 3 months after the purchase, I received a big electric jolt when I had one hand on the trailer and was standing on the wet ground. We had an electrician look at it, and discovered the entire body of the trailer was a live circuit, known as a Hot Skin. Anyone could have been electrocuted if they touched the trailer. It took 7 weeks of troubleshooting with the help of an RV electrician and an online RV Electricity specialist to isolate the problems. The end result, we lost weeks of camping and $3000 to get it fixed. Electric lines to the appliances were fried and burnt due to reversed polarity, along with a missing ground wire. Delmarva clearly had to be aware of this problem. We spoke with them and they refused to provide any compensation. We should have taken them to small claims court, but at the time was also dealing with some health issues. read more

Had to have my AC replaced shortly after I purchased my used 2016 Aspen Trail RV, didn't purchase the extended warranty but the General manager offered to replace my AC at cost but was still more than I wanted to spend.... so I went online and found a new AC unit at a cheaper price and the General Manager still honored his promise to install the AC unit at no cost. My advice is to purchase the extended warranty if you buy a used unit. read more

My wife and I purchased our first RV, from Delmarva RV Center in Milford, DE. We had a great experience. Our salesman was Nick Mauncele, and he was awesome. Being our first RV, I had lots of questions. Nick was very patient, answered all of our questions, and was not pushy at all. Indeed my wife often accuses me of "researching things to death" and I suppose that's true in this case: it took me 5 months to decide exactly what I wanted and where to buy it. Nick let us go at our own pace. We never felt pressured by him. When we finally decided on the brand and model (Coachmen Freedom Express 192RBS) they did not have one in stock. No matter, they were perfectly willing to order one with exactly the options we preferred. There were no hidden fees. Since I had done my research so well, I knew the price I asked for was a very good one, fair and reasonable for both sides. I kept asking whether there were hidden fees of some sort, No, said Nick, he assured me that this was the "walk-out price" and he was right. No last-minute surprises. Of course the sales manager tried to offer us an extended warranty, I expected him to do that, but we politely declined and the price quoted was the price paid to the penny. Mike did the pre-delivery inspection for us. Like Nick, he was very patient with us, did not rush us at all, and explained the entire suite of systems on the travel trailer and how everything worked. I didn't time it, but I know we were with him a couple of hours at least, as I had lots of questions. We did have some water leak problems, not surprising given how fast all RV manufacturers are slapping these things out, but Delmarva made it right for us. In our case the shower leaked to the outside of the unit, badly, when we took a shower. I also made a rookie mistake; when I took off from the campsite to return the RV to Delmarva for warranty repair, I neglected to raise the power tongue jack, and destroyed the jack. Fortunately they had one in stock, and replaced the tongue jack at the same time they repaired the shower. So my thanks to Jeff in the Service Department for his speedy repairs - he did two jobs late in the afternoon right before closing when he expected only one. By now everyone should expect that I give my highest ratings to Delmarva RV Center. I'd definitely buy another RV from them again, for both their sales and their service. I purchased a brand-new Rouge toy hauler a little over a year ago. I have had several issues with the camper the first was the led light on the front going bad and now the cap for the awning motor is missing it must have blown off also half of the bolts holding the awning in were about to fall out. I understand I am responsible for keeping up maintenance, but this is ridiculous! The camper has only been used maybe 5 times and when not in use is kept stored under a large car port that I had built just for the camper. I have called to try to get help, but no one answers and when they do, I got put on hold for so long I final hung up. This is not the first camper I bought from here, but it will more than likely be the last. I even referred my cousin here and he had to get his camper serviced due to issues they were rude to him and had his camper for two months. The only reason I give this business a "one star" is because there is no lower rating. I blame it on myself, I never did my due diligence and look up other reviews of this business......they were out there. The customer service of this business is horrendous. You get better customer service at a Walmart self checkout. I was insulted, the finance person told me......and I quote "I think you're CRAZY" because I decided not to buy their extended warranty. My wife quickly defused the situation and talked me down. We just wanted to get the deal done and get out of there. Next was the walk through on our used/new to us RV. We found trash under the fold down love seat, trash on shelves, finger prints on mirrors and glass. We were there to pick up our unit and didn't want to wait to have the RV re-cleaned. I immediately went and found my sales person. He told me I could clean it with Windex. I take my RV home and about a week later I was called by the dealership to inform me that they couldn't process the RV through DMV because it was never inspected. I was told that I could just register it but not get a tag.......that I couldn't take it out on the road. I aslked the person.......why would I buy a travel trailer and not travel with it! They told me they would come pick it up, take it to get it inspected and returned. Told me they would be there on Monday. That Monday came and went.I contacted my salesperson, the management and eventually they stopped returning my calls. I eventually had to contact The Attorney General for the State of Delaware. Only then were my issues were rectified. There are many RV dealers across the Delaware/Maryland region, I suggest you go anywhere but this place. read more

According to the dealer response to my google review, my 100 emails caused delays in the repairs. Most all of the e mails were to convince them to do what they either said was done or to motivate them to make corrections to the new camper that was sold with issues. The e mails were to convince them that whoever did Troubleshooting to fresh water tank and cut belly liner prompted its replacement. That whoever troubleshot the furnace in a way where they destroyed The metal furnace cover which is removable according to furnace manufacturer and that is the same manufacturer who states clearly to not modify same cover in safety section of repair manual. So it was all trying to convince them to communicate to me that when they finally did the repairs that they would do the right thing. They even comped me a window blind for door but guess what it was installed improperly and they broke the frame and had to redo it at pick up. so my ready for pick up camper took 2+ hors to be ready. Their oversight of service is poor, communication is poor, this is all the management team and owner. And yet my e mails caused delay. My e mails were to those who do not do the service work and apparently do t check behind to make sure done right. I still left with camper with a broken drawer slide that just happened to be the drawer removed to make fresh water tank connections at pump. And their response ended with the suggestion that i contact Jayco to find another service center for my future needs as they did not meet my very reasonable expectations. It was advice not necessary as that decision had been made already. If you decide to do business with them good luck as despite what they say their processes and communication both within the organization and to the customer sucks. And the service was adequate at best. all the big items were already bad pre purchase but not made known to me until post purchase... read more

Purchased our third travel trailer from this dealership. Eric "Jet" Jensen was a fantastic salesman and Meg provided a great walk thru.

Do Not Do Business with this company! We purchased a brand new Grand Design from them. Before the purchase was finalized we received reasonable service and answers. The sales person who (unfortunately) dealt with us is Nick Mauncele. At first he was responsive but once we signed papers, it became obvious he's just after a sale, no customer service, non responsive, Nick could care less! This is what happened pre delivery! First off, we were scheduled to come for an orientation and delivery of the rig. Nick of course didn't show up. We were introduced to the technician who very quickly showed us the systems (we were about 20 minutes late due to traffic), however, the treatment was as if we were more of a nuisance or after thought rather than customers. Tech then told us that the hitch system I had ordered and paid for was not in and tried to switch us to a lower quality system ..... take it or leave it, cause they were too busy and didn't know when and if what I had ordered .... an equalizer system would be in. I refused to take delivery and finally they called Nick who confirmed my ordering of the equalizer. So delivery was postponed. They then said would call me when the hitch would be in ..... crickets! I had to follow up several times. Once it came in they were pushing me out several weeks, but I had scheduled a trip and I needed delivery. This is where I had to call for a manager as Nick would not returned my calls and Adam Darling, the service manager NEVER returns calls. So enter Lisa Trice, the Operations Manager After being bounced around this hell hole leaving vm messages. So Lisa, said no problem, she accommodated me (as if doing me a favor) to come in for final delivery since the correct hitch was in, I arrived on time to have the hitch installed and stood around for 45 minutes before anyone acknowledged us! ...... this is two weeks later! Since delivery was so rushed and I'm not an expert in rv's ...... as it turns out some items were not done correctly. I paid extra for two roof fans to be installed (they were done correctly) and a camera system for rear and side cameras. I picked up the rig two days before our vacation, take it and when backing up to park it, the cameras aren't working! Called Adam Darling and left an urgent vm (remember he doesn't return calls? Well, he doent). Called Nick Mauncele, no return call. So decided tow back to this hell hole so they could fix the cameras. caught up with Adam Darling whom looked at the cameras but didn't know, he called a very nice and helpful young man Eric Jenson (by the way, perhaps the nicest and very service oriented person there). Him and I discorde the rear camera had been installed upside down, so reversed it but still cameras didn't work. Then they called another guy, did not get his name, but he said the cameras were defective and it was a Furion, a manufacturer problem and to call them. I told Adam that I would, but since I had to leave in two days, I'd be willing to purchase a NEW SET of cameras from them (they sell them and have them in stock) so they could install them right then and there ..... the rig was there, I was there, I was willing to buy a new set, I was willing to wait, there were three of them there, but Adam refused and said they had no time. Needless to say this was the epitome of awful customer service. I left and called the so called Operations Manager as she was not 'available' to witness this horror story. She answered and said they were way too busy and could not get me in before I left on vacations. However, she'd do her best and promised me she'd return my call in TWO HOURS. Well, the call never came, I called her back several times and she'd have an employee who sits in the office next to her answer to tell me that Lisa was not available and would call me. Well, the call NEVER came, and then I found out the woman in next office is the person whom I met when my tags came in several weeks later. About the cameras, I did call Furrion tech support. They ran some diagnos and determined the cameras were fine but HAD BEEN WIRED INCORRECTLY! Explained to me the correct wiring which sounded very simple! My wife and I, went Back to the rig, took off the side market light, opened the light housing and sure enough, all the wiring (three) were wrapped together into one and that's why the system didn't work. We fixed the problem this place wasn't willing to repair ..... their own incompetent work. Finally, going back to when they called me that my tags were in! I met the woman in the office next to Lisa the Ops Mgr. She's the one who covers for Lisa when Lisa doesn't want to answer the phone, this woman was also very rude and pompous! She handed me my tags. They took my $54,000 cash on 3/23/21 for a camper and were supposed to get parts to be repaired they have never ordered them yet. My temp tag ran out three weeks ago and they said they were getting the tags and title last Thursday. Luckily I called today to get them they told me that I have To run it threw inspection I said give me my title to the camper and my money back and I'll get it tagged. They said they can't do that well I said than come get the camper and get it tagged like you were paid to do. I've left sever messages. No response from any one in charge. read more

Would be ok if it was one or 2 but we had about 10 we had in mind. The sales guy was decent took us around to show us what he did have and they were t the best looking. So we decided to look at a new model. A couple days later someone from the dealership contacted us based off an online inquiry we had made. I spoke to the guy and he said oh that never sold we still have it. I mentioned a couple others that we had been Interested in and guess what still available. So we had arrangements to stop and look at one on a day they were closed had been given details on we're in the lot to find it to view and was told we will leave it unlocked for you. we went down and tried to look at it and guess what it's locked. Its always 2-3 months out or more. Had a recall and it was 4 months out. Unbelievable. Called the RV dealer down the road from me and they got me in the following week and were very professional. 0 stars wasnt an option Typically, I wouldn't do this but Delmarva RV Center had 3 weeks to make things right so here we are. BUYER BEWARE. We purchased a used RV in May 2022. It was initially disclosed to us that there was a roof repair. Ok, cool. Guess we should've inspected that instead of assuming it was properly repaired. The first issues were with the awning motor and a broken air condition which they replaced, but delayed pick up after purchasing. To date, we've only used it on 4 occasions. The first trip out was June 2022, we discovered water leakage and assumed it was probably from excess water from the slide out when we closed up. The third occasion, our heat stopped working and we discovered leakage again - this time it had only rained during our drive home. We dropped the camper off on October 31 to have it serviced and they told us they believed the leak was coming from the wheel well. They fixed our heater, and we finally picked the camper up on Jan 30 (3 MONTHS LATER). We took our 4th trip on May 12 and when we got to our camp ground we noticed half of the roof was peeled back revealing what a crappy "roof repair" they did prior to selling it to us as well as the source of the leak. After several calls, I finally spoke with Cross, who identified himself as "my family owns the business." Long story short, he told us he is not liable as we are a year out from our purchase date (reminder that they had the camper 3 months out of that year for repairs and to my knowledge, they didnt even check the roof for leaks). Not only did we have to spend $637 for an emergency temporary repair while we were camping 3 hours away, now we have to pay $1200 out of pocket for materials so my husband can fix it. So if you do shop here, make sure you're handy. EDIT: Cross replied in the comments that our camper was brought in for a furnace repair, which was ONE of the issues, and therefore they had no reason to check the roof. My main concern was the leak which is why we dropped it off much earlier than our original scheduled appt of Jan 14. Further displaying their lack of competence by revealing they never even checked for anything regarding the leak. That kind of builds my case here even more in my opinion. DON'T DO IT...Don't take your RV here for service. This was the first and last time we will ever deal with them. We had scheduled service for the RV in April at the Milford location. I made 3 inquires on status. Each time, the woman took my information and no one EVER called me back. Next, I tried to get status by staying on the line until someone could talk to me but that didn't work. They put me on hold and left me there for over 15 minutes until I finally got frustrated and hung up. I was to the point that I felt I might need to go in person and demand answers. After more attempts, we were eventually able to get status (in May- almost a month after dropping it off). It had not been checked out. They never bothered to look at it. WOW- talk about customer service. When someone did eventually speak to us, we were assured that they would have someone get to it the next day and call back (which is one of the few things they did do). To our surprise, it was "suddenly" done. In fact, we were told that there was nothing wrong with the water heater which was the primary reason it was in for service. Since "nothing" was wrong with it, we were basically charged for labor. The amount of labor that they performed is questionable since the water heater still does not work and is currently at another shop to be serviced. I wish I could give them a 0 rating. read more

May 2018- My 4 star hinges on a 3. I will be updating later as the experience goes on. Bought my first RV here. 2018 Terry Classic V21. Correspondence through email was very professional. I hunted a lot for the best price. Delmarva beat everyone by a few hundred. When I arrived the RV was waiting and Woody my sales person was quick to get me service and everything going. The service guy ( I wish I could remember his name ) was professional and took me through the RV. The finance portion was simple and quick, overall I enjoyed the professionalism of the personnel of Delmarva. Now the negative: The RV was not clean, they said they needed to get a new detailer. I agree. Several broken items including a windshield crack, radio knob, and the adjustable bed motor being inoperative. All items were documented and they said will be replaced when the items come in. Camper came with missing lights, a non-functional tail light, grey and black tanks were still full, dead battery that needed replaced, junk from previous owners, and hot water heater not working. August 2021 part was never ordered and our temp tags have expired. We still do not have our tags or extended temp tags in the mail. I have called for a week to have the temp tags sent out as well as emailed Delmarva. I was told temp tags cannot be sent to me until they expire and the company they use for tags is behind. No one is returning my calls or emails. I have to consistently call everyday to find out what is going on. Infuriated is an understatement. I have had very good dealings with Delmarva RV Center. When I purchased my used RV it was clean and had no leaks. After a year and a half, I had to sell my camper due to medical problems. Cross helped us when no one else was willing to step up. We tried to sell it online and we tried consignment. I have tried to buy 3 separate RV's from this sham business and have lost every single one because NO ONE EVER CALLS, EMAILS or MESSAGES back. First off, I can't get Rob the finance guy to call me back no matter how many times I call or how many voice mails I leave. No one responds to emails, no one is ever "at their desk" or "able to be paged". I keep losing out on RV's because NO ONE EVER GET'S BACK TO YOU HERE!!! Don't waste your time, go literally ANYWHERE else to buy your RV. Follow up on my last review. It's now Tuesday evening, 8 days since I told Linda at Delmarva RV to put my registration card in the mail. Guess what, still no registration card. That's why I called a lawyer earlier today. Signing the retainer in the morning. Even if they hand deliver my registration card to me tomorrow it's too late. Maybe going to court will wake them up, I seriously doubt it though. Stay away far far away. It still won't let me give them a Zero star rating. read more

Two years ago, after purchasing a travel trailer here, I inquired about an awning replacement. I spoke to Ron Moore about an estimate for repair. I went into Delmarva RV several times for help. I was ignored and am still waiting for an estimate. Ron Moore treated me very poorly. I will be including this on social media to help others from being treated the same way. We bought a RV trailer at Delmarva RV Center and recently had to replace two tires. We had never used our spare tire so we thought we would put it on and put one of the new tires in it's place. When my husband removed the tire cover it was obvious this tire and wheel were too large. We contacted the dealership about the possibility of swapping it for a tire and wheel of the right size. Even though we bought it at the Smyrna dealership we were told it was originally from the Milford lot. We contacted the service center. We even went to the dealership. The lady at the service center said only her manager could make the decision. We left our phone number and even though we called them again no one has called us. I believe their lack of customer service is apalling. Even if they were unable to give us another tire they could have called to say that. My point is if you are thinking of buying a RV do not go to Delmarva RV Center. I will never use them for any repairs or products again. read more

I'm surprised that he took the time to try to make it right. With that being said just remember that this has been my experience. It reminds me of the old saying that 1 (one) bad apple doesn't make the whole bushel bad.These guys are a joke. It must be such a good feeling that your business is doing so well that you you don't have to show any respect for someone's needs. The tells me that they wouldn't be able to even look at my problems for another 2 months. Really? Wouldn't recommend these guys to do anything. I think that's what they do best "NOTHING". read more
