The manager assured me that they intended resolve our situation. We agreed to bring our trailer back to their facility on 11/17 for a seventh time so that they can show us what they have and had done to try and find the shower leak. The manager also requested I spend the day if necessary to witness their work. I agreed since our goals were the same - find and fix the leak. Since our trailer has been winterized, covered and put to bed for the winter Driftwood agreed to re-winterize our trailer at no cost.

I called ahead of time (2 hours prior to arriving) and asked if the battery could be charged. Got there and that was a no go... they offered a start up package which I had to ask for and wait to be prepared, and the temp tag wasn't ready either. Okay it's our first day and I'm just stressed things will get better. They absolutely got worse! I was assured time and time again that because it comes with a "service contract" I had nothing to worry about. I found old food in the bottom of the freezer ( I am 4'11 so I didn't see this when I saw the trailer).I found dirty used underwear under the bed, among a bunch of other trash. It was still winterized. I paid $17,000 for this trailer, Bob the manager just kept putting me off to service and service admitted that they are overwhelmed and it wasn't looked at. Now the big issues. My hot water heater is leaking, they didn't give me the keys to the front door and the backdoor wouldn't stay shut without being locked. When I reached out to service they said they couldn't give me a day, let alone a time someone would be out. I go to the pool and come back and some guy is in my trailer, no identifying information either on his truck or his shirt. Didn't introduce himself and I specifically told them the service guy had to call because I had pets in the camper that could not get out. He fixed the doors but almost a month later my hot water heater is still leaking on my floor, the lights on my awning flicker on and off, the speaker goes in and out, the seal to the slide fell off, there are bubbles on my slide roof and a few other things that I've asked them to come look at. My next call/email will be to consumer affairs of New Jersey.

We left that day and returned with a deposit to hold the camper and start the buying process a few days later. Unfortunately, we were not able to close the deal. When I asked about our deposit being returned, I was told 7-10 business days. Ok, no big deal. One week, two weeks...a month goes by and nothing. I called to speak to someone and was directed to Zack. I spoke to Zack and was told that the request had been sent to corporate, but being that it was Saturday, he would have to wait until Monday to call and see what information he could find out for me and that he would return my call that following Monday. Again, no big deal. I received no call. Another 3 weeks go by....nothing. I called again on 7/1/26 to speak to Zack, he wasn't in. I was directed to Dan and once again explained the situation. I was told that since Zack wasn't in, he would have to wait to speak to Zack when he got in later that day, and that either he or Zack would get back to me that afternoon. Again, no one called, emailed, or left me a voicemail. Being that it has been two months now with no communication from Forest River as to where our deposit is, I felt that I had to leave a review to warn other potential customers. I have been nothing but incredibly patient throughout this whole process. I have called twice in two months. Unfortunately, Forest River lacks in their communication skills and customer service. I guess since our deal didn't go through, we are not as important as any other customer and don't deserve the same respect. Beware of leaving deposits....you may have to fight tooth and nail to get your REFUNDABLE deposit back, IF you ever get it back.

As I was waiting for it to be done my rep and the mechanic come out and tell me I need brakes and if I wanted them to do it. I had hardly used the RV and the mechanic said that sometimes on GMC'S the brake controller is not right. Well I told them I would take it to my mechanic to have the brakes done. After I dropped the RV off at my mechanic ,they told me to come get it that I didn't need brakes . It was 3 or more years later that I needed brakes. Another incident : I had to have a new roof put on RV (over $10,000). About a year after it was done I went in for my forever warranty inspection and was told the roof needed new seals ($1200).How is this possible they just did the new roof less than a year ago. So, I had them redo seals on roof. Now less then a year later I am getting ready for a trip and my bed is wet. I go up on the roof and the seal on fan over my bed is severly cracked. Call General RV and let them know ( they only warranty seals for 3months). There answer was it was a rough year weather wise for seals. How about that for bullshit!!Every year must be a rough year for seal . It's either that or forbid I say maybe they don't know what they are doing at their work establishment. Needless to say I am going to let my forever warranty expire just so I don't have to deal with such incompetence and thievery. It a shame that we RVer's have to deal with companies like this. The service team who showed us how to operate were awesome (and again Patient), even noting issues from the factory to address on our behalf and helping us unexpectedly deal with our own truck prep as it needed a brake controller installed when we thought we had one . Dan was an expert and very nonchalant about it like he could do it with his eyes closed...and probably could. Well, this weekend we were supposed to go camping but had a factory issue with the electrical Mike , the Service Manager got us in and fixed in a matter of hours (also fixing those factory issues noted initially because the parts came in) . For them to handle this on a Saturday, during the busiest part of their season speaks volumes. And again, everyone in the office was so welcoming and constantly try to feed you! There was no waiting on what the Mfr would say, they got us up and running and we didn't have to miss a work day to bring it there. If you're buying an RV , these are the people to go to, We traveled all over NJ and PA before we bought ours making sure the dealer was the right fit ,because with an RV, you need this more than with any vehicle and after 15 plus different dealers, Crossroads was it. See you on the road!

CAVEAT - Whitehorse RV Center service department manager and service techs are horrible…read more Letter we wrote to Jayco Corporation regarding warranty work on our 2025 Jayco Alante: (NOTE: picture was removed due to the fact it is grotesque) We are writing to express our deep dissatisfaction with the service department at White Horse RV Center, located at 980 N. Black Horse Pike, Williamstown, New Jersey. From the outset, our experience was marked by poor communication--whether it was scheduling a service appointment, seeking updates on our 2025 Jayco Alante, or simply coordinating the pick-up of our RV. Despite numerous emails sent requesting warranty work and status updates, we received virtually no response from the service manager, Christa, until the day we were planning to collect our vehicle. On Saturday, July 18th, when we arrived to pick up our RV, the receptionist, Jo, informed us that the service manager said we were only there to collect keys, which made little sense given the circumstances. When we dropped off the vehicle, we informed them when we needed to pick it up (It was dropped off on June 20th). We were also told that all relevant paperwork had been emailed to us, which is simply untrue--we have received no documentation outlining what service was performed or left incomplete. Beyond the lack of paperwork, we were troubled by the fact that no one requested identification to verify our ownership of the RV. The process appeared alarmingly casual, as if anyone could hand over keys and retrieve the vehicle without confirming their identity. Upon inspecting our RV, we were dismayed by the condition in which it was returned. While we appreciate that some debris is to be expected after servicing, the level of dirt left behind was unacceptable. As a military/police couple, we take great pride in maintaining our belongings in impeccable condition. During our 1.5-hour drive home, we noticed an unpleasant odor in the rig. It wasn't until we arrived home that we discovered someone had used our restroom--a violation we find appalling, especially since we never use the toilet in that manner ourselves. Although the accompanying photo is unpleasant, we wanted to underscore the gravity of the situation, as it required hours of cleaning and thorough sanitization. This was not only an inconvenience but time lost that we cannot recover. Moreover, without a dumping station at our home, we will need to spend even more time cleaning once we gain access to proper facilities. We will not accept any denial regarding this incident, as our RV was in the possession of White Horse RV Center from June 20th to July 18th, making their staff fully responsible for its care. Such conduct is simply unacceptable and intolerable. We expect compensation for the time and effort we spent cleaning and sanitizing our vehicle. In addition, we have not yet had the opportunity to fully assess all of the concerns we submitted regarding our RV. Over the next several days, we plan to conduct a comprehensive inspection to ensure every requested issue has been properly addressed. Be warned...this is not a place you want to bring a brand new rig for service. BBB is next stop!

The trailer was at their New Jersey location but they transferred it to Delaware for me at no cost so it was easier for me to pick up. Everyone at the dealer was pleasant and helpful while we were there for our walk through and delivery. Our trailer does have an issue that they found during their PDI inspection, they were open and upfront about it and assured me parts were ordered already. While I don't necessarily like having a brand new trailer with an issue, things happen outside of their and my control and I appreciate their honesty. Natalie, in finance, was great to deal with and didn't try to push us into extended warranties or add ons, which I also appreciate. Overall a great experience, especially compared to another local dealer that wouldn't even return our calls when we tried to buy the trailer from them before contacting HitchRV. Mark Logan

Since you basically called me a liar, I uploaded the photo of buyers agreement you sent me. I really have no issue with you saying that's the price and best I can do, fine I went elsewhere, the added fees sent me to another dealer. 5/7/19 I see you have edited your response to me 3 times already, let's be honest Dave. That buyers agreement has $690 in fees beyond the selling price, when I see stuff like that I go elsewhere. If you had not sent me this I more than likely would come to look at it, I work hard for my money and spend it wisely. These fees are all padded to make the dealership money, which your in business to make. I don't pay an admin fee, you have to do that to sell it anyway so why would I pay a padded fee so you can sell it ? I was actually putting my shoes on to come look at it when you texted me this, when I saw the extra $690 I bailed. You may simply say everyone pays this, not me.
