This review is for the Kingston Road location as I am able to enjoy the at this location more often. I've eaten here a few times. It's always fresh. The cabbage roll is like nothing I've tasted before! It's filled with falafel and lentils. There's a tangy sauce on top. The samosas are spicy and, like anything you order here, you can see the ingredients. I have enjoyed the vegetarian and chicken. Both good. The staff are conscientious and put each order together as they are ordered. There is usually a small line up of 3-4 people, so you know there are people willing to wait for the food. - it's that good. The only thing I would have different in a future order is to ask for my cabbage roll to warmed all the way through. It was warmed up, but given its substantial size, it was cold in the middle. It tasted fine (I was hungry), but I'm sure the flavours would come through even better when heated up longer. read more

The folks here are of the kindest one's likely to ever meet! I basically took home the entire menu on this day [Tuesday, June 6th, 2023] lol :D I can only imagine that this is a Leslieville staple because virtually everyone that came in while I was there (had to let my slow brain have some time to make an attempt at choice, while letting everyone else go ahead of me lol) were clearly happy to be there! They seem certain in addition to enjoying the highly fresh selection! : ) I ordered the falafel plate with kale salad, garden salad, and the bell pepper + eggplant roast; I also got beef wraps with all the sauces. :P Typical folks might be "oh, that seems like a reasonable amount...." Welp, my friends, I'm clearly atypical, for better or worse: I also got 2 sea bass, some chicken, 3 cabbage rolls, and 4 grape leaves..., 2 Jarritos sodas, and 4 seasonal thirst-quenching delicious watermelon juices--perfect for when global heating from climate change burns our forests and Toronto gets even more air quality warnings! Anywho, I was pitiful and the kind woman (Abeba, the owner) helped find a nice box to carry the paper bag of the sole joy left to me--food! Okay, the situation isn't really _that_ bad, folks! Long story short (or short story after long), I'm quite certain you'll find at least one of you favourite plates or wraps here, but make sure to have tried a few configurations to make sure it's the one you'll love most (that's right everyone--culinary adventure time!) : ) Case in point, I almost tried the whole menu and I'm gaga for this spot! We were excited to see Delina opening a second location on Kingston Road near Silver Birch, especially at a time when restaurants were only able to provide takeout. It looks like their confidence is paying off, and they certainly deserve to succeed. Everything I've tried has been fresh and tasty, and the servings are very generous. This is an excellent place for vegetarians: try a falafel platter with many choices of sides. And get a baklava for dessert. The service can be a bit slow, but I think that's the cost of food that hasn't been sitting over a warming tray. Friendly staff. read more

MUST TRY Chicken shawarma plate was tasty, healthy, and a great portion. Had lima beans, rice as side options. Recommended: Samosa was solid OK: Cabbage roll. For me, I didn't like this because it has no meat, and it was a bit too spicy I like how Delina herself was there behind the hot table, taking orders and talking to friends. Great place to stop for a quick affordable meal (that isn't pizza) near the beaches if you are visiting. Just a 8 min walk from the boardwalk. Friendly staff. No frills restaurant with limited seating. Decent selection of salads and meats. Large portion sizes. I ordered the chicken plate with cabbage, eggplant and rice and was pretty satisfied although the chicken was a bit dry (although they make up for it with lots of sauces). My wife ordered the veggie wrap and she liked it a lot and mentioned that it was very filling. Overall I would come back if I'm in the area and looking for a quick meal. read more

Our whole family loves this place, even my 5 yrs old picky eater. He loves the fish which is sea bass and cooked to perfection. I especially love the eggplant which is full of roasted flavours. Their rice is mixed with many ingredients including fried onions which gives it great flavours. All their different sauces are super flavourful as well. We were in the Beaches area and wanted to grab some take out with us to eat at the beach. We ended up going to Dalina's and I'm so happy that we did. All the food is prepared by Dalina herself ( who is the restaurant owner) . After having a short conversation with her it was easy to see that she loves what she does and prepares the food with passion and love. The food is middle eastern, the ambiance is very simple and casual. And when I say simple I mean V-E-R-Y simple....it's more like a casual eatery sort of place. I was happy to see that most of the food is vegetarian, so we had plenty to choose from. We ended up getting cabbage rolls, tabouleh, beet salad, delish lentil rice, and so much more. The food was unbelievable! So homemade and delicious. I literally can't wait to go back and have more of Dalina's delicious cooking ! :) read more

To put it simple it's Freshii on steroids with a Mediterranean twist for half the price. The food was fresh, healthy and the women who works there is very friendly. So the fact they're still in business is very telling.... other similar restaurants in the area have come and gone like the changing of the seasons.... If you're a fan of Lebanese/Mediterranean food you won't be disappointed with the offerings @ Delina... and we're not talking just falafel and shawarma here.. they have a wide assortment of options. Everything was really tasty. - falafel sandwiches - lentil rice - potatoes - tabbouleh - bean salad - lima beans - eggplant The falafel balls were freshly made and not prefried. Super tender and fluffy on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside. Great seasoning too. Favourful and not too salty. They were out of a few things (okra and cauliflower) and replaced it with salad and rice. While delicious, I would have appreciated a call so I could choose my replacements. I've always loved Delina but in the past year I've been nothing but disappointed. The falafel was so dry I ended up just throwing it in the compost and the lentil soup that I once adored is inconsistent and today I tried once more only to get a soup with a fully burnt aftertaste.
