Came for a quick drink and got the maple wood drink and it wasn't too bad. A bit strong for a beer. They have a lot of retro games and a pool table. Lots of people and a vibe. Good vibes

Delilah's is one of those classic Chicago bars that never misses. Their whiskey selection is insanely big; seriously, you could come here every week and still not try everything. It's the kind of place that works for any vibe: a casual night out, celebrating something fun, or just playing pool and hanging with friends. The music and atmosphere are always on point, the bartenders know their stuff, and it somehow manages to feel both laid-back and full of energy at the same time. Whether you're a whiskey lover or just want a cool neighborhood spot with great people and good vibes, Delilah's never disappoints.

Delilah's might be my most cherished bar in all of Chicago. It has a great atmosphere of nearly pitch black vibes but with the friendliest of service. Come here if you're looking for some excellent whiskeys, ryes and bourbons. The selection is pretty much exceptional and the bartenders make excellent recommendations. Not that it can't get any better - it does. During football season this place turns into a Buffalo Bills bar which makes it energetic and fun!

Here's another dive bar in Lincoln Park that harkens back to when the neighborhood wasn't all fancy. If interested in an old school experience without the frills, come here. Delilah's is a low key hangout with fun art and hip music. Cheap drinks. The bartenders are chill and aren't chasing after money with overpriced weak cocktails at nearby other bars you can get. A lot of customers think this bar is dark. It certainly is. This only adds to the intrigue and mystique. Good place to do more than just drink. Lots of cool art is on the walls. Many are from local artists. There's also cool ass music. Drinks are the main thing of course. Lots of different types of whiskey. It's about $6 for the cheapest. The prices aren't as good as they used to be but it's much cheaper than other fancier places around here. Has more to check out you may not be aware of the first time, such as inside there's another bar. It has an upstairs that's another hangout. There's a few arcade games, some TVs, and pool table.

Food nah, come here to drink high end spirits and chat up the bartender Ian or the owner Mike Miller. The thing about this bar: do they have an incredible selection of spirits? Yes. Do they have an incredible selection of beers and wines? Yes. Are they pretentious? No, it's just a good bar! Is it a dive bar? Yes! No! Really the only person that can decide is you. Service is knowledgeable, friendly and knowledgeable. Wanna try something special try Delilah's 24th anniversary Rye or the Makers Marks special Delilah's blend. Over 1000 whiskeys on the wall, Over 60 incredible wines and bubbles and simply the best damn fucking list of spirits & wines in Chicago- hands down (period). Ambience - Dark as night, punk, 90's NYC vibes.... In this amazing 130 year old building. If in your heart you're a punk rock anti-establishment lover of the music of the time and Elvis Presley - this is your place.

Quirky hole-in-the-wall dive bar with a huge whiskey selection and interesting wall art in an old building with affordable prices. Appreciate that there are a few games like a pool table on the 2nd floor. Low key but with loud music - mostly rock. Check the event schedule for a more chill or crowded time. BYO Food.

Love this place! The vibes are outstanding. Service is wonderful. Not sure if they have food, but they have BLUE LIGHT

The bartenders over at King of cups told us about Delilah's. This place is for whiskey lovers! my cousin is a big whiskey drinker so the bartenders at King of cops told us to go check out Delilah's, since they are whiskey connoisseurs. This place is super cool. The bartenders know what they're talking about and they make really good drinks. Highly recommend Delilah's!!

Some awesome artwork for horror fans.

What a cool place that absolutely delivers on being a high-quality bar with an unpretentious vibe. The place has a punk-rock atmosphere and fun art on the walls that is a nod to great childhood characters referencing some of my favorite horror moves. The music was excellent. I had to move my stuff to make room for the crates of vinyl someone brought in to spin for the night. All great stuff. The service was great and not heavy-handed. My friend and I were greeted quickly and given time to look over the extensive beer list. The bartender was friendly and helped guide us to some excellent choices for some odd beers they had on tap for the holiday season. Overall, it was an excellent place to spend time catching up with a friend and enjoy some fantastic drinks. I can't wait to come back to try the legendary whisky selection!

When I came back, I walked out to the patio that had no signage that it was closed assuming they went there to smoke, but to my surprise they were not out there. I was then told rudely that the patio was closed and I immediately turned around and went inside to return to my table. Before I could get to my table, the security guard had walked by at the same time, motioned to me as if to suggest I looked "off" and the person that told me the patio was closed nodded. The security guard then immediately removed me by force, and I asked why I was being motioned this way with to no avail. I received no explanation, so I assumed he was just showing me to where he thought my friends were at, out the front door instead. My friends were outside, so I finished smoking and went to go back in and was given a funny look at the door, but my friend said we were just returning to our table and the door man let us in. As I was returning, the same security guard that showed me the front door where my friends were grabbed me by force again and forced me to the front door. The door guy that just let me in also assisted in forcing me out to which I was not resisting aside from asking for the second time for an explanation. I was given no explanation and left without resistance. I was later told by my friends who did the same thing by walking to the patio to then be told it was closed that they got back in and sat at our table with no problem. I only had 3 beers over the two hours I was there and was a paying customer. The security guard must've just been taking a bad day out on me by kicking out someone for quite literally no reason. They were extremely disrespectful and I have 8 witnesses that would say this is unjust and unprofessional. Edited - went back and staff was very nice and food was good. Would get a higher star rating if it wasn't for that first experience.

The staff was super attentive and kind, checking on us frequently. My friend and I stopped by for happy hour, and this should absolutely make it onto the list of the best in town. They have delicious wine, cocktails, and bites for nearly half of the regular price. I opted for the happy hour prosecco to drink, which was light-bodied and not too sweet. We split the meatballs and dates for bites and both were outstanding. I was super impressed with how tender the meatballs were, and they did not skimp on the flavorful marinara and cheese! The dates, which were topped with a white wine cheese sauce, were mouth-wateringly delicious and a must order. There was also complimentary focaccia with olive oil, which was greatly appreciated. With sea salt on top and a crispy exterior, I could easily have eaten a whole loaf. The only note I have is that the portions are small, so if you don't come during happy hour the prices are a bit steep for what you get. The staff were super friendly too and gave us some awesome recommendations, which definitely helped because there were so many things I wanted to try. I ordered the Harissa Shakshuka, it came with roasted peppers, onions, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, goat cheese, and two poached eggs, served with sourdough toast. When it came out, the presentation immediately caught my attention. The two poached eggs were sitting right on top of this beautiful, rich sauce, with the goat cheese scattered throughout. Once I cut into the eggs and that runny yolk mixed into everything underneath... wow. The flavor was outstanding. The tomatoes and roasted peppers gave the dish a deep, slightly sweet and savory base, while the harissa added a warm, smoky heat that slowly built with each bite. The garbanzo beans were soft and tender, adding this really nice texture. And the sourdough toast was perfect for this. I could scoop up the sauce, egg yolk, beans, and peppers all in one bite. That's when the dish really came together. This was a seriously delicious breakfast. Every bite had something going on, and I'd definitely order it again.

The location is great and easy to get to, which is one of the reasons we decided to stop in. The atmosphere was fun, and the restaurant was very quiet that evening. Since it wasn't busy, we expected quick service and were looking forward to relaxing for a bit. Unfortunately, that's where our experience fell short. We were seated right away but then waited about 15 to 20 minutes without ever being greeted by a server. Multiple servers and bussers walked past our table several times, yet no one acknowledged us or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. It honestly felt like our table had been forgotten. Because we were never able to place an order, I can't comment on the food or drinks. We ended up leaving before anyone came to our table. The wait time itself wasn't the issue. We were seated immediately. The problem was waiting 15 to 20 minutes after being seated without receiving any service, especially at a nearly empty restaurant. As for value, it's hard to judge since we never had the opportunity to order anything. However, spending nearly 20 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us made the experience feel like a waste of time. It's unfortunate because the atmosphere and location were great, but the lack of service completely overshadowed the rest of the experience.
