Tight quarters; very bright. Has decent selection of pastries and sandwiches. Interesting touch is that you get to choose your own teapot from a variety of ceramic ones, including ones resembling animals, faces, houses, and others with abstract designs. My wife had one of the scones and liked it. Better than your average coffeehouse scone, if a little soft. I had the moroccan tomato-peanut soup, which was excellent. Did make me curious about their other lunch options.
Among their offerings is a private "high tea" for $35/pp. Hats. pearls, gloves encouraged. If that's your thing...
No wifi is available. When I asked about it I was told I that if I sat close to one of the windows (there are few) I might get a cell signal.
We were there to wait for some other businesses to open up, and to dodge the rain for a bit, and it was enough. read more
