What a wonderful lunch spot! Staff is so friendly, restaurant is clean, food was delicious. We LOVED the ham apple brie sandwich. They have some great sandwich combos, as well as fresh sides and ingredients. It was busy when we walked in (prime lunch hour), but it was still only about a 10minute wait for our sandwiches to come out. Order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Parking was easy, in the parking lot behind the building, but plenty of street parking as well. We weren't sure if we had to pay for the street parking so we opted for the lot. Big fan, I'll be back!

Oh myyyyyy. Why have I not stopped in sooner?? I got the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and two sandwich cookies: bacon pecan filled with maple cream and am oatmeal cream. I took a bite of the bacon pecan maple while waiting for my biscuit, and I can't say I've had a cookie quite this delicious in a long time. It is pretty rich and sweet, but the salty nature adds a really nice balance. Biscuit was duly delicious. It's so cute here too. There is a "free little library". Staff is super friendly. Everything here is five stars.

The food was so good! This little deli is located in downtown Canton, but still has ample parking if you are visiting. We were able to call ahead and place our order so I was able to run in and out. They definitely had a steady stream of people visiting including a lot of downtown employees. The sandwiches were fresh as were the sides. I love how there is a seasonal menu so items change up frequently. Their cookies are amazing. You have to try their oatmeal sandwich cookies. I will be getting this again for sure. I tried the roast beef sandwich with the seasonal macaroni salad which was great. The ingredients were fresh and you could see them making the items as people ordered. If your visiting the area, definitely put this in your list to try. The outside of the deli had amazing artwork in it as well.

My office order pick-up and I ordered the Reuben. It was the worst one I've ever had. It was fatty and rancid. I called to talk about it and he tells me he's not going to change anything about it and that people hug him for it. Ummm, okay why do I care. You could have just said thanks for the comments we'll try better next time.

First timer here, it's apparent from the reviews and the line out the door when i stopped in today that people love this place. If there's one tip i could give, if you are coming down on your lunch hour, ORDER AHEAD! there was a line out the door. I didn't have time to ask for suggestions since it was so busy, I went with the turkey bacon avocado minus the avocado, and i grabbed a piece of their special apple cheesecake out of the cooler. I will say this before i even get to the taste review, they must have not looked at the ticket first because they put avocado on the sandwich the older lady wrapping it noticed and took the avocado off, but then she took a paper towel and started wiping the avocado off the sandwich and that totally disgusted me. Maybe better kitchen etiquette in the future because that was a HUGE turn off. Onto the sandwich, it was good, you can definitely tell it wasn't cheap ingredients, the turkey was full of flavor and the bacon was thick and delicious, but as you can see from the pictures i attached, the bread to meat ratio wasn't great, ( i took one picture with the toppings and then took the toppings off to show just the meat) for what you pay for (8.50) i definitely would have liked more meat. Overall it is good, I will go back a second time maybe when they aren't so busy or order ahead, it would have been 4 stars if it weren't for the paper towel scrubbing of my sandwich, and the meat to bread ratio. Good little place though and I love supporting local small businesses so i encourage others to try it out!

Stopped in with my husband while on a work trip. Cute little deli. Very clean atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Our sandwiches were delicious and made with excellent quality ingredients. Fresh, crisp lettuce, lightly toasted breads, flavorful meats and sauces. We will definitely return again and recommend to others. Thanks for a great lunch guys!

I love the whole idea of this place, and the grub isn't bad either. A friend from Canton took me here, and I'm glad he did. All of their foods are locally sourced, and that's a big thing, and a good thing. We both got sandwiches and sides, as we might at any deli, he: the Ham Apple Brie, me: the Italian Beef. Both sandwiches were good(we swapped halves). I don't know, I could go to any random deli, and get a decent sandwich, or I could go here and get the same/better quality sandwich knowing that it was locally sourced. That's important to the local economy, and I like to support places like that. And....... It's BYOB. I brought a Cincinnati beer. @Represent! ;) Oh crap, I almost forgot to mention the Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies! Stick one in your face!

Best Deli in Canton! Great menu of sandwiches soups and salads with something for everyone. Fresh local ingredients, artisan cheeses, amazing bread, and delicious cookies too! What more could you ask for? Definitely worth taking a few extra minutes to drive to Ohio Deli. We stopped in while traveling to the NFL Hall of Fame and are so happy we did. Deli Ohio was the perfect addition to downtown Canton eateries. The food is incredible and their commitment to providing fresh and local ingredients keeps me coming back. The owner and employees provide prompt service and are always friendly. The atmosphere is lad back and welcoming; the perfect setting for a lunch meeting or dinner with friends. Ok, more than a year since I took my first delicious bite of the turkey avocado sandwich and I am still enthralled with this deli! Today I had the best potato salad I have ever eaten (sorry mom), & a fresh salad with chicken, asparagus and cheese. Sigh. Thank you Ryan for holding steady and giving Canton a real sandwich shop (oh and good coffee...must not forget that coffee ). I am sticking by my initial review... If you skip Deli Ohio for a mindless chain you don't deserve good food anyway!!! read more

Best chicken salad sandwich in the country. Also, Ryan is a true original. I love everything about this place. The tunes are on point. The sandwiches are all delicious. The drink selection is great. They do a mean pour-over if you're into great coffee. Salads and other sides are available. They host rad events and are literally a huge part of Canton Ohio turning around. LOVE LOVE LOVE this local joint! Super clean, super fresh ingredients, and everything on the menu is outstandingly good. I have developed an addiction to their pickles, and I am not ashamed to admit this. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is so sweet and accommodating. I just moved to Ohio from Los Angeles, and after living in LA for 30 years and being a self-described "sandwich critic", I can honestly say the Turkey Bacon Avocado is the best sandwich I've ever had. Soon after this place opened, my husband and I were anxious to try their hot corned beef on rye. To our horror, the sandwich was made up of fat attached to a morsel of some kind of meat. We were already home and were unable to return the sandwiches for a refund. Such a huge waste. Hard to believe it gets a good review. New owners perhaps? read more

This place is amazing! I recommend the Rustic Turkey Italiano. In my opinion, that's the best thing on the menu! Everything here is good, though. I've tried several sandwiches and they're all delicious. Large selection of drinks. They have chips, sides, soups and pastries. A small breakfast selection, too! Deli Ohio is a fabulous lunch spot in Downtown Canton! It gets very busy during the lunch hour, but I've never had a problem finding a spot to sit. Getting a sandwich to go is always a great option when I need a quick lunch or something to bring back to the office with me. The Turkey, Bacon, Avocado is amazing, but my favorite is the Ham, Apple, Brie. If they ever have the Nutella, Bacon, Brie on special- GET IT! You will not be disappointed if you are a sweet/salty fan, and you could brie on anything and it'd be fantastic. I love that they make make all their breads in house, and all ingredients are local. I don't typically make it here for breakfast during the week, but will stop on the weekends after a workout to grab a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. I love homemade biscuits and theirs are great! read more

I was working in Canton and decided to look for a local spot to eat. Finally found this place and was excited by the menu. It was lunch time so the line was long. No biggie but i was running out of time so ordered the tomato pepper soup and left. The soup was not good at all. No flavor except the dill or thyme floating in it. The lady at the counter was nice and I'm sure everything else is tasty just not the soup that day. I actually threw it away and only had two bites. The two stars are just for that soup. read more

So hipster it hurts. Drinking out of mason jars: check. Minimalistic yet cool decor: check. Locally sourced ingredients: check. Girl with an ironic Jaws tee-shirt: check. What a nice little place! Food is fresh and fantastic! Also very affordable. I love how it's served on a wooden block and very convenient to have free wifi. It's a bright place with lots of windows and fresh cut flowers on the tables. I had the Peace 2.0 sandwich special, wow was it good and filling for a veggie selection! Something I've never had before. Also had the home made chicken noodle soup, yum! Totally recommend this place for a healthy delicious meal. read more

Just visited the new North Canton location. Had visited the downtown location many times so ordered favorites from the menu. The BLT was great (as usual) and the turkey/bacon/avocado really was excellent! The bean soup was as rich and hearty as any my family ever made. I really love this place! Eat in space is clean and cool. Staffs are friendly and nice. I enjoyed Ham Apple Brie sandwich and was really tasty. Coffee tastes great, too. A staff told me that coffee is from roaster in Kent, maybe from Bent Tree Coffee? I have to check. One thing is the location... not good neighbor... so I deducted one star (I visited downtown location). North Canton location does not have much eat in space... I hope they will have a spacier restaurant in better place! read more

Great restaurant concept. Friendly staff. If you're looking for local ingredients, Deli Ohio is a great spot. The space is minimally, but very well-decorated. Very clean and inviting. I had their take on a Cuban sandwich, which was good. The pickle was nice and fresh, the mustard was well-balanced with the rest of the sandwich, and both pork cuts were tasty. Perhaps the most-appreciated element for me was the addition of a hand-poured coffee, brewed via Chemex; somewhat of a rarity in these parts. All in all, a great experience, and I will be back. read more

Looking for an amazing deli sandwich, superb sides, a nice root beer selection and a relaxing atmosphere?! Look no further. It's worth the drive from Cleveland or anywhere else you might live. Turkey bacon avocado sandwich is my favorite. Hearty food served on gorgeous wooden blocks, which are all made locally! I haven't been there for breakfast yet, but based on the sandwiches, I'm positive I won't be disappointed. read more

After spending over half of my life in various Restaurants and with the amazing support of my wife, in-laws, and all of our other family; we decided it was time to open a shop of our own. Taking the normal, ordinary idea of a sandwich and applying a mentality of raising the bar, we have created a menu that seeks to use fresh, local, seasonal, and products that are direct from the source. Fresh Food Deli has been in Medina for at least the last 15 years or so, and they've decided to expand to the Green/Akron/New Franklin/Portage Lakes area! They have a private parking lot with enough room to back out and turn around without having to go onto Caston or Main in reverse. Their entrance door is off the right (when facing the restaurant), and it's fairly nondescript. You may think it's an employee entrance, but it is not! It's for you! This location appears to be primarily for takeaway and catering. It's clean and quaint and reminds me of one of the small places you find in Europe. The owner Yannis is very friendly and helpful! He is originally from Athens and his food reflects the quality that you come to expect from authentic Greek and European food! I decided to order the Gyro Wrap w/ Side (from the Board Specials). I've been here a handful of times since they have opened and the food is absolutely great. It;s a gem for the city of Canton. A place that you want to take your out of town friends to. The best thing is that there is consistency in an independent business. Get the "Cuban" on a Tuesday and it is the same "Cuban" you get on Friday. That is important to me. The owner is friendly and the entire crew comes off as good people. The atmosphere is clean and hip which is exactly what downtown Canton needs. Also, Deli Ohio ended up right along the new bike lanes so that is a plus. Keep up the good work guys! read more

The other thing to note is that in a short time Ryan (the owner) and Deli Ohio have become a local mainstay.
