Fresh and delicious!!! Everything I ever tried has been delicious! Been going here for years

Got lunch today at Deli Central! First off, the parking lot is pretty big with lots of parking spaces. Inside is a small deli with no seating available. That said, it's takeout only. There is a salad/sandwich bar, hot lunch section, and a dessert section. For decorations/ambiance, it was very plain, nothing special. Ambiance rate: 2/10. My boyfriend and I ordered... 1. Cowboy Chicken on a Jalapeño Cheddar Wrap: This wrap was very tasty! All the ingredients mixed well together in every bite, and they provided a generous amount of each filling. 1 downside was it included caramelized onions instead of fried onions like they advertised. Another one was I couldn't taste so much of the jalapeño cheddar flavor of the wrap. Rate 8/10. 2. Sloppy Joe w/American Cheese on a Whole Wheat Wrap: To start off, this order was one of their Tuesday Specials, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to try it. The sloppy joe was very delicious! It had a small spicy kick to it which I enjoyed. The only negative thing is it was kind of oily. Rate 9/10. 3. Side of Beer Battered Onion Rings: The onion rings were extremely crispy and yummy! Rate 9/10. 4. Large Peach Ice Tea: Their iconic ice tea w/ sugar and lemon was sweet and yummy. Rate 9/10. The staff were friendly and helpful. The service was quick considering I called beforehand and my order was ready once as soon as I picked it up. Service/staff rate: 8/10. Overall, Deli Central is a great takeout place for a quick bite to eat! read more

There's just something about this place. It's a necessity when driving through the area. I always place an online order on the way, something you must do to avoid waiting; they're always packed. The parking lot is full of patrons in cars scarfing down their own personal favorites. For me, it's the bacon, egg, and cheese with ketchup and mayo on a whole wheat roll. I can't really put my finger on why - I don't know if they necessarily reinvented the wheel. When looking at their site, there are just so many options, so much room for customizability. Hundreds of thousands of combinations from proteins to cheeses to breads. Just one tweak to your previous order can open up a new world of flavors. It keeps me coming back for more. You must try the famous iced tea as well. It's a delight. read more

I ordered a buffalo chicken roll with white American cheese, extra buffalo sauce, and ranch. I was given a multi grain roll with chicken, little buffalo sauce, no ranch, tomatoes and lettuce, with yellow American cheese. Completely not what I ordered at all. Extremely disappointed. I've been living in the area for over 5 yrs now...I really try to give this place a chance...it's always very hit or miss with a lot more misses. Sandwiches are very so so and over priced, salads are good, service is decent usually packed but they get to you with no issues or delay, but they always seems to get my order wrong in almost all cases. Today for example I asked for a simple grilled chicken, bacon, LnT, Mayo and black pepper. I got cheese I didn't ask for and crumbs for bacon pieces, when I ask for grilled I get cutlet, when I asked cutlet I get grilled with no Mayo or too much and I always say light Mayo. So it's just annoying that's all...I want to support local and help the area but a half and half, with a grill chicken club on a roll cost me $15 and change. That's a bit steep to always seem to get my order wrong. I'll try again in 6 months or so, but cmon Deli Central it can't be that hard to get 1 sandwich order right in person. read more

I LOVE EGG SANDWICHES. LOVE IT! This place has been a staple of North Rockland forever I feel. Sadly, the first time I ever had it was probably 2013. Honestly, it probably was a good thing I never had it before then because I probably would have had it every weekend in high school, like every other kid that went to North Rockland. What this place offers is simple. One can get the breakfast sandwiches, regular sandwiches, meats, cheese, essentially what any deli would offer. And yet, this place just stands out in my mind. I can't help but get the SOBO because I love sausage with my egg sandwiches. You get the eggs, the sausage, ketchup, salt and pepper and the home fries - oh and the home fries are IN the sandwich. Brilliant. And oh so fresh and delicious. Basically, every time I get dragged back into North Rockland, this will be a pit stop of mine. read more

Food is mid and so expensive (chicken salad on a ROLL with fries over 15 bucks). Some of the stuff they put in the salads is stale and unedible- croutons taste like legit sand. Same with the bacon bits. How long has that stuff been sitting in the jars? Ordered a bagel with lox and SLICED cucumber, they threw in the tinest spoonful of prechopped cucumbers from the salad bar. I work in the area with potential to eat here every day but Im probably not going back. My coworkers talk about this place all the time - that we are giving up because the quality is not there, oders always messed up, and ridiculous prices. read more

Great spot for sandwiches. I'm constantly raving about the italian combo from here. It is a smaller store and a little overwhelming when you go there for the first time. By far the best place to stop into in Stony Point!! I personally have only picked up food from here during breakfast but they serve lunch as well. Their bagels are great. I absolutely LOVE their 10oz mango iced tea as well as their 10oz iced coffee!!! Already thinking about picking up another coffee tomorrow morning :) The staff is always so kind! A GEM! read more

Ordered a grilled cheese with extra bacon and tomatoes. Got my order and had no bacon at all. Went to store and spoke with manager who agreed order was wrong. He came back a few minutes later and handed me a sandwich and said, "Here, I made a new one for you". Like he did me a favor by not adding bacon to the already cold sandwich. And to top it off, never once did I get an apology. Got new sandwich home and the extra bacon I ordered consisted of 2 strips on the whole sandwich and it wasnt even melted. This was the spot for hangovers to get a breakfast sandwich after a night of drinking. I used to come here almost every day but EVERY time and I mean EVERY time I order an obo sandwich(contains no meat) I find a piece of bacon in it. I have even asked workers to cook it separate and I still find a piece of bacon. This just goes to show it is pure laziness, it is not that difficult to cook away from the meat. Everything at Deli Central is delicious, from their breakfast sandwiches (the Sobo especially), to all of their lunch sandwiches. All the boys in my house love the burgers and fries too. The salads are delicious as well so, like I said, everything is delicious. We never had a bad breakfast or lunch at Deli Central. read more

Tasty, affordable breakfast sandwiches and generously sized iced teas. I've only ordered the Bobo breakfast sandwich, but I liked it so much that it's the only thing I want to order! The Bobo has a fried egg (real egg, not egg substitute), American cheese, crispy bacon, home fries, salt & pepper, and ketchup on a Kaiser roll. It's yummy and cheap. More satisfying than those fast food breakfast sandwiches. They also have huuuge iced teas (green or black) that you can get with various flavors (raspberry, mango, honey, peach). This weekend, the short girl that works here in the front (I think makes drinks), did in fact give me the worst iced coffee I've ever had from this establishment. I ordered a large iced coffee with cream and sugar and, Oh Boy, was I disappointed. I received a coffee that had absolutely no sugar and was absolutely disgusting. It tasted bland and watered down. Words cannot explain the frustration that was bestowed upon me. Not to mention, the same day, and same order, my friend ordered an iced tea with lemon and sugar and received a watered down iced tea-- Zero sugar, might I add. I've asked my girlfriends if this has happened before; they've all confidently said it has-- with the same young lady who made these disappointing drinks. We need change.
