ClearChoice Tysons. I have seen dozens of dentists in my…read morelifetime. Teeth pulled, crowns, root canals, and implants. As far as being a dental patient, I would consider myself highly knowledgeable. I'm sure I've spent more time in a dental chair than 99% of Americans. I went to Clear Choice for implants. Let me repeat - that is why I went there! So for those on here that say they sell you implants/etc. Yes - they are an implant center. That is what they do! Here is why they are amazing: 1. Implants are what they do. They are experts. 2. Fair price upfront. Repeat - one known price upfront! -This is so different from other dentists that are constantly charging me over and over and over again for various xrays. - The price for Clear Choice was BETTER than or EQUAL to what other dentists wanted to charge. Except with Clear Choice, I have sedation. Plus I don't have to constantly have additional charges thrown at me! 3. Their team. For my appointment to get the implants, I was sedated and it was a team of five. This is far more attention than when I had the dentist do it and all I had was one dentist plus a hygienist assisting. 4. Personal touch. The Dentists calls me the day before surgery, and the night of surgery. Not an assistant. The Dentists that performed the surgery. 5. No insurance. This is actually a pro for me. Insurance barely covers anything anyways, and it is a pain for the patient and the doctor. I just paid my fee, and never worried again. By not taking insurance, ClearChoice keeps costs lower! They focus on medicine and patient care - not fighting with insurance companies. 6. Depth of Doctors. During consults, 2-3 different Dentists would look at my teeth and my dental plan. If you ask other dentists about Clear Choice they will likely complain. News Flash - dentists don't like doing regular checkups and teeth cleanings. They are lost leaders. If that is all dentists did all day they would be out of business. Dentists want the up-sells for Crowns and Implants. Its like oil changes at your car's dealer; they don't make money on the oil change, they are trying to gets cars in for service. Dentists don't like that ClearChoice is basically taking all the best business from them. When I see a regular dentist (not Clear Choice) and they see my teeth, I can see the $$$ signs in their eyes. Every visit is an endless journey of physical pain and $$$ shakedown. First the regular dentist pokes and numbs and drills. Then when I am at my most vulnerable, tells me "if you don't do xyz like I say, then abc bad thing will happen". That's when the shakedown starts. The xrays, the procedures, etc. Seems it never ends. Then I end up with a tooth, root canal, or crown in pain. Their advice - give it a few months to settle down. Meanwhile more bills start showing up at the house for things the dentists forgot to add when there. I've had enough of those dental practices. Clear Choice named a price, and treated ME like the patient and not an endless wallet. If I could give more stars I would!

Besides being an excellent dentist, he has incredible bedside manners--humane and compassionate, empathetic and supportive. I went in for new dentures, uppers and a partial lower. While my understanding is that the work on dentures is usually, if not always, done in his Falls Church Office, the staff in the Tysons office were very accommodating and eager to help, and I was able to have the work done there, which is a walking distance from my residence--a plus during COVID-19 especially that I do not drive. Getting my dentures was not without challenges, and at moments I got frustrated and worried. However, Dr. Chaudhry was always reassuring, very patient and promised perfect outcome, which I can confidently say, was achieved. To the greatest extent possible (at the end of the day, they are not natural teeth) I am now very satisfied with my new dentures, and I am getting more accustomed to them by the day; I am also assured that I can always go back and get the same attention in a timely manner in case I need any adjustments. I would also like to give a big shout out to the front desk staff, unfortunately I do not know all names, but Zeina was extremely helpful, personable and made my life easier. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kim and his office if you are looking for an efficient and flexible oral surgeon.

Unfortunately, a 3D scan by my root canal dr showed I had to have a tooth extracted. My first time and I was terrified. He referred me to Sang Kim and I went there that day. Sang Kim met with me for about 5 minutes and said he would be pulling my tooth right then. I was shocked, this meeting was to be a consultation! The office staff came in 1 minute later, quickly ran through the procedure (with generic images online), had me sign a consent form, and had me pay over $2,000 RIGHT THEN. I have insurance, but they wanted their cash before issuing to insurance. They even said if my insurance sent me a credit, to bring the check to them! What?! While sitting their confused and now broke, all I could think was this guy was recommended by my dentist and I trust my dentist. BIG MISTAKE! If it feels wrong, it is wrong. Here is the situation, my tooth (a previous root canal tooth) got infected to the point it had deteriorated the bone under the gum. It was the infection that hurt and the reason I went to the dentist. Was it painful, yes. But not so painful I couldn't wait a few days to let some antibiotics clear it up before surgery. Sang Kim did not give me that option. Nor did he give me the option for sedation. 10 minutes after forking over a huge sum of money, I was in the chair getting numbed. Here is the first of what was soon to be the most painful experience EVER! The tech didn't put the surface numbing gel everywhere the dr would inject the numbing needle. When he hit the un-numbed area in my mouth it was like my brain was struck with lightning. I screamed with pain. He didn't stop - just said this was the most painful part. A few minutes later, he started pulling. I would tell him, "I can feel this, it hurts!" He didn't stop. Again I tell him, "I can feel this, it hurts!". He didn't stop. It is so painful, I start crying uncontrollably. He only stopped when he had the tooth pulled. After a small break, he resumed work to clear out the infected areas. AGAIN I tell him, "this hurts, I can feel it!". He didn't stop. I start crying again, tears flowing down my face, He doesn't stop. I start screaming in pain. He only stops to bring in more staff and shuts the door - apparently more afraid about those in the waiting room than the excruciating pain I was enduring. After another small break, so I could get my crying under control, he returns for the bone grafting - again I CAN FEEL IT AND IT HURTS! At this point I'm physically pushing their hands/instruments away from my face. Once he is done, I'm laying there crying. He nor his staff did anything to help me. All they would say was "That was a bad infection". So I ask, then why not let me take antibiotics before the procedure, or give me the option for sedation. They said nothing. I felt so violated! I'm in so much pain and crying so hard I could barely see to drive home. No one should EVER go to this place! All he cared about was getting paid - he showed no regard for my wellbeing. The surgery was performed 10/2/2025.

Dr. Hamrah Gave Me My Life Back -- Truly the Best…read more I'm 50 years old and had spent more than half my life struggling to breathe. I saw six different ENTs in Canada, underwent two failed nasal surgeries, and was repeatedly told that nothing more could be done. My left nasal passage was 100% blocked -- no airflow at all. I had given up hope that anyone could help me. Then I found Dr. Hamrah. From the first consultation, I could tell this experience would be different. He actually listened. He understood the complexity of my case, explained every step with clarity, and created a plan that addressed both function and aesthetics. I had a septoplasty and rhinoplasty with cadaver cartilage grafting -- and the results have been nothing short of life-changing. For the first time in decades, I can breathe properly. And the best part? My nose looks completely natural. Dr. Hamrah doesn't just perform surgery -- he combines technical precision with an artistic eye that delivers results tailored perfectly to your face. What also stood out was the level of care. No other provider ever gave me a proper pre- and post-op plan. Dr. Hamrah and his team operate at a standard well above what I've experienced anywhere else -- this felt like luxury medicine. From the anesthesiologist and nursing staff to the patient care coordinator and front desk, every single person treated me with professionalism, kindness, and respect. If you're considering medical tourism or feeling let down by the healthcare system like I was, I can honestly say: do it. It's worth every mile. Dr. Hamrah gave me back something I thought I had lost for good -- the ability to breathe and feel whole again. Don't wait as long as I did.

I underwent a deep plane facelift procedure with Dr. Daria Hamrah, who is an oral surgeon. I trusted his credentials, his consultation, and the way the procedure was presented to me. Based on that trust, I moved forward with surgery expecting a professional, thoughtful, and responsible outcome. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. After the surgery, I was left with facial asymmetry, uneven contours, and visible irregularities. My face appeared unbalanced, with areas that looked lumpy, distorted, and not natural. This was not what I expected from such a complex and highly marketed procedure. When I first raised my concerns, I was told to wait and allow time for healing. I respected that advice and waited patiently for over a year, believing that the results would gradually improve. They did not improve. In my experience, the outcome became more concerning over time. When I reached out again to address these ongoing issues, instead of receiving a clear and supportive resolution, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. Eventually, I was informed that the physician-patient relationship would no longer continue. This left me without support after a significant surgical experience, a substantial financial investment, and a long period of waiting. When I raised my concerns and felt significantly affected by the outcome, I requested a partial refund as a reasonable resolution. Instead of addressing my concerns or taking responsibility, I felt that my concerns were not acknowledged, and my access to communication--including social media--was blocked In addition, there were aspects of the treatment plan that, from my understanding during consultation, were expected to be performed but were not carried out as I had anticipated. This added to my confusion and disappointment. As a patient, I trusted an oral surgeon to perform a facial cosmetic procedure that requires not only technical skill but also aesthetic judgment and careful follow-through. Based on my personal experience, I did not receive the outcome or level of care that I had hoped for. This experience has cost me financially, physically, and emotionally. It has also impacted my confidence and daily life. I understand that every surgical procedure carries risks and that outcomes can vary. However, I strongly encourage anyone considering a deep plane facelift, especially with an oral doctor , to do extensive research, seek multiple consultations, ask detailed questions, and clearly document all expectations before moving forward. Do not rely solely on online presence, social media IG, FB...or initial consultation impressions. Take your time and make sure you fully understand who you are trusting with your face.

I went for my consultation, and was scheduled to have all four wisdom teeth removed two weeks later. Never having had any sort of surgery (ever!), this was a huge deal for me, and I was so so so so nervous!...but the assistants and Dr. Ali were super kind throughout the process. One thing that was great was that the patients can contact the doctors 24/7, for any questions or concerns. However, I do have to mention that you (as the patient) should double check the math regarding the estimate of pay with insurance. After reviewing my estimates, something didn't seem correct, so we called the office and it was an addition error on their end. I saved more than $100 just because we double checked the estimate we received during the consultation - but that's minor and should be done anyways. All in all, going towards my fourth week of post-OP and after following all the directions....my mouth feels almost completely normal, I did not have dry socket, all the sutures have fallen out, no infections, and I was able to eat a great steak three weeks later :) THANK YOU DR. His manner makes me wonder if he's been served with a malpractice suit before. Would not be surprised honestly. ... Dr. Ali's entire practice leaves much to be desired... I've visited his office for a procedure and follow up at least about 6 or 7 times in the past few years. I always need to brace myself for his appointments because he is racist and sexist- I will admit I'm not sure if it's intentional or subconscious... But one thing for sure, he's HIGHLY patronizing, especially to people of color. I've been trying to explain his behavior for him, because I didn't want to deal with arguing with a defensive man. But he seems to recognize when his patients bristle at his under-handed comments then he gets defensive. Meaning he's an intelligent man, just all the more rude since he knows where his words land. After so many visits though, i think it's safe to say his bedside manner is just plain offensive... consistently. It's highly confusing considering how diverse his patients are. His staff just follows his behavior. Efficient, but rude. Also worth noting in terms of his office staff and punctuality, I've always had to wait at least a good 15-20 minutes to see Dr.Ali, even if I showed up at the scheduled appointment time. Their office always seems to be too tightly scheduled, Dr. Ali seems to be always in a rush to the next thing. All doctors tend to be quick so this would be understandable, but it's strongly evident thathe wants to move on to the next thing and while he does make an effort to answer his patient's questions, it tends to be pretty curt and dismissive. Too many issues to unravel, this is just the tip of the iceberg surprisingly lol. Maybe just go to another provider, plenty others in the area.

I came in for a cleaning and the dentist told the assistant to run my xrays through AI. This immediately set off alarm bells for me, as I expect a trained dentist to be able to identify cavities with their eye and not rely on AI, which we know makes mistakes. AI said I had 4 cavities, which I thought sounded like too many because I'm diligent about my dental hygiene. But I went ahead and got two of them filled. On one of the fillings the dentist kept drilling and drilling, and despite being numbed, I could feel it. I raised my hand to say I could feel it and he just stopped and started filling it. I was like - if I hadn't raised my hand, would he have just kept going? I then had persistent pain in the tooth for a week (there was zero pain before) so I went to another dentist for a second opinion. Turns out the dentist had not adjusted the filling to my bite correctly, so the way I was biting was inflaming the nerves in my tooth. Adjusting fillings to bite is Dentistry 101, so why wasn't that done? The new dentist also said he drilled so close to my nerves that I was almost in a root canal situation. Fortunately not, but wow, that really scared me. He also said I only needed one other filling, he didn't at all see this 4th filling I was told I needed. I saw another review on here of a man who was told he needed 7 fillings and then a second opinion said he only needed 4, so this isn't a one-off instance. It seems like this place prioritizes making as much money as possible, and therefore wants to sell as many procedures as possible, regardless of negative health impacts. I was also forced to buy a $30 prescription toothpaste, what a rip-off. They also push their in-house orthodontist heavily on people. I'm happy with my teeth even though they're not perfect, so I was not thrilled about the dentist unprompted telling me all the ways I could make them better with their orthodontist. In this economy?! I'm happy I found another dentist who doesn't put money first.
