I got yelled at and gang on by the nurse and secretaries, they threaten to not take my baby anymore unless I do a vaccin RIGHT NOW. For context. I have been taking my 3 kids for a few years. My oldest 2 are, fully vaccinated (even more than what school required) My 3rd is also vaccinated, and was supposed to get a few more vaccins for his 18months. Unfortunately, he got strep, bronchitis, an ear Infection that took 2 round of antibiotics to get the ride and then we went on vacation. When I came back I went for a check up of his ears. Everything was fine so I left. As I was leaving the building the secretary called me back in and told me that we need to schedule a vaccin appointment because we are behind schedule. She then said, we should actually do a vaccine RIGHT NOW. I politely refused and asked if we could do it in two weeks during his well appointment because it was 2pm, I had groceries to drop off at the house and pick up my two kids at different school. I genuinely didn't have the time to go back in there. They got mad, like real mad. Saying in their office they are strict with following vaccin schedule, I HAD to get the vaccin before the end of the week or they won't take my baby anymore. I politely explained that I really would like to wait until the next two weeks, the well appointment, because we are in the middle of moving/packing and that's going to be a very busy time. They just kept insisting, being rude. So I just left. I was very upset about the fact that they were so rude to me and painted me as a "anti vaxer" even tho my kids have all their vaccins, we were just a bit late on schedule. So I came back, I told them, that it was rude to talk to me that way. Being a few months late for vaccine isn't a reason to be yelling at a mother with her baby in her arms. They didn't apologize for their tone, they actually double down. I said, "my kids are vaccinated, that's unacceptable to talk to me like this because we are behind schedule a few months " and the secretary said "no they are not". So, she lied to not lose face in front of other patients. Their website says "compassion" but clearly they have none. They don't care to yell at a mother with her baby in her arm, make her late for school pick up, as long as they get their money. After this I decided to not take my kids there anymore. read more

I have nothing but positive thoughts regarding this practice- specifically Dr Palsky who is seasoned in his profession and gives tips on various things related to caring for an infant and all the tips work like a charm. He's serious about his job but is approachable and doesn't over react. I appreciate how he educates the parents and wants to know what concerns you have- never ever makes you feel silly or ridiculous about a question or concern (like I said approachable!) We feel like we hit the jackpot with Dr Palsky- and to address some other reviews about practice staff I personally find it best to remember that this is a busy highly sought after pediatrics practice so yes you may find that the phones are always ringing and everyone isn't always sunshine and rainbows (nurses) as everyone has cloudy days or personal struggles and to be honest I have encountered ONE nurse who was not sunny in demeanor BUT I would never allow that to run me away from this practice!! read more

Had our first appt here this week. This review is for the lactation specialist at the office. I will post a review for the practice after a few more appts. Ms. Debbie is phenomenal! She's so nice and gentle and sweet. Knows what she's doing and talking about. Took the time to go over so much with my husband and I even sent us home with a paper full of notes and tips. She's also specialized in car seat safety so she checked the car seat on our way out. I got to nurse with her present also brought my pump in which she taught me how to properly use it. We really enjoyed her and will probably recommend the practice just because of her! read more

We have been using this practice since our daughter was born in 1999. The nurses, phone nurses and physicians are all fantastic. In almost 20 years we have never had one minor issue, from care to communication. And believe me, we have utilized them quite a bit! Highly recommend! read more

Both kids have been with Del Val since birth. Very satisfied with the quality of care. Busy practice.

They are very accommodating for sick children. Depending on who is on call there is a very good chance they will see you in the office after hours. I even went in on a Sunday for a flu swab. read more

We were told they didn't have the Saturday calendar ready to bring out 9 month old in for her check up. We asked again later and we're told not worry we were second on the list. It is now February we called were told we saw you had an appointment for a week day so we skipped you. Sorry they are all booked. We picked this practice because they promised CONVENIENT Saturday hours. Currently shopping. Andrea in the office is rude. Very disappointed in this practice! They truly sell how they are for your children. Then they become a patient and that seems to be it. read more

Medical care provided is ok but be warned that their business practices are more than scatchy. Do not be surprised to be charged a co-pay for a visit supposed to be 100% covered by your insurance for vaccination. They schedule these after hours so they can charge your insurance extra and you are stock paying a co-pay. Don't bother complaining to them to let them know that you did not pick the time of the appointment, they did, they will threaten to send your bill to collection. They sent me that threat after my $50 bill was pass due by 2.5 mo. How much lower can you get!! Don't bother communicate your concerns to them, they will not respond. I filed a complaint through my insurance, if enough patients do that they will be treated by the insurance the exact same way they treat their patients, i.e. the insurance will threaten them to contract with them. Patient also have a voice, I do intend to have mine heard so these dishonnest practices we have to bear stop!! Plenty of other great pediatrician office around this area, so avoid going there if you can. read more

Dr. Palsky is the best doctor that I have encountered. We have been very happy with all elements of the practice.

Watch out for Saturday fees! They don't tell you when you try to schedule a regular visit that you will be charge extra. Would NOT recommend. read more

Have been with this practice with my daughter for almost 2 years now and very happy with my experience. The nursing staff is very friendly, doctors are thorough, and the phone nurses are knowledgeable and help as much as possible over the phone before bringing in a patient which I appreciate very much. Dr Yao and her nurse practioner grossly missed diagnosed our son while he had many signs of mono. Just a swab of the throat and out the door again and again. They even went as far as sending him back to his team practices with mono...This is dangerous as the spleen could enlarge and burst if hit..She wouldnt even authorize a spleen ultra sound because the BOARD doesnt recommend..The BOARD? This is our son .. Huge swollen glands in neck, very tired, lathargic, no strep, no flu...Emailed the practice and they fail to acknowledge.. New doctor did blood work, recommemend rest, hydration, vitamins and did ultra sound of spleen and lymph nodes because they were so big before he returned to his sport...I would say good things about the other doctors we seen in the past but none have gotten back to us about this..Sad practice..Its a factory read more

This practice is a nightmare!!! The phone is NEVER answered. You have to leave a message and wait for them to call you back. Every single person on the office staff has a bad attitude. When you are the parent of a sick kid the last thing you need is the office staff's nastiness but that is exactly what you get. Then if you leave the practice, even for a move to a new city, they CHARGE you for your records. Despite the fact that they are supposed to provide them to your new provider, they will not unless you pay. I was told they could not hand me my records while I was in the office but I should have them sent to my new pediatrician. I presumed that that meant they would send them over gratis, but no I received a bill which they told me I must pay BEFORE they would release them. I am not sure this is legal, but you won't get your records otherwise. In addition two weeks after the check was cashed NO RECORDS. Also all records are computer based, why are they charging me copying and mailing fees when they should be able to email them over. Doc's are good, but you will suffer trying to get to them. do yourself a favor and find a different practice. read more
