This Del Taco is always packed! I'm always amazed at the line in the drive thru, but the service is fast and it doesn't take too long to get your food. The employees are amazing! One of the employees won employee of the year for all the del tacos in the country, two years ago! They always keep this place clean and the bathrooms are clean as well. I never feel like I'm at a "fast food" place when I eat here. I tried their birria items today and it wasn't too bad! The ramen wasn't my favorite, but I was impressed at how packed it was. Great service; place was busy with orders and they were obviously working as a team. It was great to be acknowledged and then given patience when we weren't sure/trying to order with kids and having to make changes to the order. Feeling welcome in a fast industry is a rare occurrence and this location served. It's easy and understandable to have and sense bad attitudes but this location was just a good moving efficient vibe. Del Taco recently changed their menu to disclude (what I think are there most popular items) mini shakes, kids meals, etc. I wasn't given a great answer by the staff as to why it had changed and what else I could get for the same price, so for that reason I left the drive through hungry and sad that such a great restaurant is falling into a pitfall. Maybe once they bring back their favorites I'll go back, but until then, they will not be getting any of my money. read more

Worst Del Taco ever! Terrible customer service. One incident I spent over an hour in the drive thru when there were only 4 cars in front of me. When I finally got to the window the food was cold and the employees were rude. Second incident stopped in to get breakfast. Arrived at 10:45am and stood inside for 15min waiting. Finally got to the register at 11:01am and started to order breakfast. Was told breakfast ended at 11:00am. I explained that I had been in line for 15min and it was only 11:01am. The cashier just shrugged at me and told me I couldn't order breakfast. So much for taking care of the customer. When I got home they had also forgot to give me the fries I ordered. The location is very new (not sure exact date of opening). I came for Taco Tuesday at dinner time and this place was packed to the rim. There were at least 25 cars in the drive up and standing room only inside. They were well staffed and things seemed to be running smoothly and relatively quick for the amount of people that were here. I walked right up and placed my order and waited 20 minutes for it to be filled. I'm sure the newness will wear off eventually and things will settle down into their routine. Stopped in here for lunch today. I have tried Del Taco on Riverdale and on 19th street in Roy. Horrible places!! They watered down their food so much it was super runny I am impressed with the one in West Point. Server was pleasant and food was perfect. I had a combination burrito and the consistency was very good. I'll be back to try something else. read more

Yes, it is fast food. Yes, it is a cheapo burrito shop. It's clean. It's fast. It's easy. The food we order is always fresh. The kids' play area is well maintained. Good place to visit if you want to eat on the cheap and not be disgusted by a fast food location. read more

Came in early this week with my daughter and picked up lunch. I have never been to del taco b4. I went simple got a del taco with out lettuce & a half pound bean & cheese with green sauce. My daughter got a kids meal with quesadella & milk. Loved to soft taco, it had double meat & cheese & tomatoes. The half pound bean & cheese was good. The fries were just ok. I usually get no salt fries but I didn't this time & it was a mistake. Way too salty for me. The hot sauce was good. Loved that the tortilla for the quesadella was browned up and it had some crisp to it. My daughter also thought the fries were a bit to salty too Prices were good food was good my order was correct ya I will be back again to try more stuff. read more

Service is fine but our food always seems to get messed up even when there is no rush and not busy. Incorrect kind of quesadilla, no fork included with the chili cheese fries and our chocolate shakes were not only also incorrect, but were mixed in a way that was lazy and not fully mixed together. read more

Just your average Del Taco, but apparently west point/syracuse thinks its the greatest thing since sliced bread because the line is always FOREVER long and not a good Chick Fil A forever long, like its the words slowest fast food taco place this side of davis county, and yet people keep frequenting it. COVID isn't an excuse for poor management. Shitty service starts at the top. It's what you can expect when the manager is rude and leaves the store while they are still open. What was once a decent place to eat has suffered as of late and it's likely why there's always a help wanted sign in the window. read more

I usually don't like to review franchises unless it's either a horrible or great experience. I like this location since service is pretty efficient and quick. Workers are friendly and although I do frequent the drive through, the inside is nice & clean. I love that they have outlets at some of the tables and packets of salsa available as well. Can't go wrong with their coupons which always include great deals every month in the papers. read more

Not sure if they are understaffed or undertrained, but the drive thru wait times are always horrible. Went today, and there was three cars waiting to the order speaker... Took 20 min for me to get there. Once I got to the speaker, no greeting, just dead silence. I said "hello" after 5 min, nothing. Finally after 10 min, I was greeted. Again, I know short staffing is an issue, but not even a "sorry for the wait." I doubt this review will even be read by those that can improve it. Just a typical Yelp vent I suppose. read more

The food is standard del taco. This service is very friendly. This review is for the parents with kids. If you are coming here during the winter they do not heat the play area. Had a bad experience in December with a very long wait time (45+ minutes) and was missing a lot of items and received burnt food. I wrote a review on their website detailing what had happened and their manager gave me a call. She promised me vouchers in the mail and they NEVER came. I have been standing here by the front counter waiting for my door dash order for ten minutes and no one and I mean not one single person working in front of me has even acknowledged me. I'm standing right next to the counter holding my phone and not one person is acknowledging me. I'm back and trying to pick up food for door dash and these worthless employees are refusing to bring me the food since the lobby is "closed" and they have required everyone to go through the drive through even though my food has been ready for twenty minutes and there is a line for the drive through around the parking lot. I have been calling for twenty minutes and only twice did they answer my calls and both times a Spanish lady told me she would not bring me the door dash order and told me I would have to wait in the drive through line to get it. They locked the doors and are ignoring all of my calls. She was very rude and extremely unprofessional. read more
