My family and I have tried the burritos, burgers, tacos, quesadillas and more, and they all taste like they're straight out of another state. The flavors are so rich and delicious. Love the fries. While there may be some negative reviews online, it's important to note that the drive-through is consistently busy and efficient, with cars often lined up five or more deep. I usually don't write reviews, but this experience at Del Taco was just too frustrating. I drove 20 minutes to place an order in the drive-thru, only to be told 45 minutes before closing that they were only accepting delivery orders. That's just bad service. I get that they might want to wrap up their shift, but if you're still open, you should be serving all customers, not just limiting it to delivery. It's incredibly annoying to be turned away when it's not even that late. Definitely rethinking where I go for fast food from now on. I understand that times are hard. I understand that people have a bad day. And I understand that nobody wants to work and so most likely your staff is exhausted after months and months of working their tales off and I get that. I am always courteous when I pick up fast food and mist of the time I even thank the drive thru person for doing what they do because little appreciation gets shown. Lines are longer for food, prices have gone way up.... I get that customers have little patience but... My daughter and I drove into town for the day and she was hungry. We wanted something fast to go, and we remembered that we hadn't been to Del Taco in a long time, so we decided to try it again. My family and I used to come here all the time and it was one of our favorites. When we arrived at the building around dusk, we noticed that the lights for the drive-thru were not on, we were confused about whether or not they were open, so we decided to enter the building to see. We entered the lobby and placed a decently sized order since it was all of us. When we got back home to eat, we were surprised at how tasteless and soggy the food was. We couldn't finish it, and we ended up just discarding it all. The cheesy fries are what really caught our attention; they were our favorite thing on the menu, but they were very soggy, and the cheese was cold and uncooked. read more

Not only is it terrible service but the cashier overcharged for my food. When I pointed it out, he lied about the price. I pointed it out in the window right in front of him and he said 'yeah taxes went up a dollar per item.' Literally the worst Del Taco I have ever been to. Let's get it straight, it's Del Taco, not high end food. I came here for HOT, FAST, just barely edible "Mexican" food. What I got was 30 minutes in the drive through. I watched 3 kids stare at an order screen and try to figure out what went in what bag. Literally only 3 cars in front of me... 30 minutes. Second car in line started screaming at the first. He just took off which is what I should have done. 3rd car waits 5 minutes for 2 quesadillas! I finally get to the window and ask the kid, is this going to take 10 minutes because I've got 2 kids in the back falling asleep. He apologizes and gives me a discount. Offers free drinks, I say nope, just make sure there's enough fire sauce. 4 minutes later we have food in hand and head home. I get home and not a single damn hot sauce is in the bag. Seriously? Quesadillas are cold, 4 minute drive home mind you, my first taco is soggy, second taco (pictured) is basically water in the middle. I'm heading back tomorrow to get all my money back. I came in after my family went to Silverwood. I place my order, wait for it at the counter and get the bag. When I get to my car- my soft tacos are hard shell. I went back in to get it fixed- this time they came out soft, but without cheese, extra dry refried beans... Would you believe that the sprite bag had no syrup and I needed two new sodas too? If it weren't for the manager who handled my wrong order, I would probably give a 3 star. HOWEVER, today I went through and ordered simple BRC burritos for my toddlers and asked for NO sauce (spicy to my little ones). My sister was in the car behind me and also ordered 4 of the same for her children. Upon getting to the park and all our kids taking a bite we realized they all had green sauce added. A total of 6 burritos. A simple mistake. I took some of the burritos with me as examples, my receipt and my sisters and went back to have the situation corrected. The manager who assisted me really haggled me over the burritos saying that he personally made them himself and they were correct. I don't know what else to tell you sir...but THEY WERE NOT RIGHT. My children will not eat the sauce. So I need my burritos replaced. He didn't even ask to see the wrong burritos but rather gave me 3 of the 6 burritos I asked him to replace because HE (in his pride) knew that he didn't make them incorrectly! I can't believe I had to haggle over simple burritos and ended up not getting my money's worth because of his mistake and his pride. As a customer I should not have to deal with this type of service. And I won't. Consider me committed to Taco Bell now. Several items were left off our order from Del taco. Perhaps due to door Dash or perhaps due to Del taco. I called Del taco to have it corrected and they would not answer the phone. I continued to call until somebody finally answered and in the background I heard someone say, "why did you answer the phone?!!?!" Rather disgusted by hearing this. I had to follow up later because they did not relay the message to the rest of their team once my husband was at the drive-through to pick up the missing order. I had to call three times and let the phone ring for maybe seven or eight minutes until someone finally picked up on the third attempt. It took them about 10 seconds to explain to me that the issue was resolved. That was much faster for them than having to listen to the phone ring for 10 minutes. I then thanked them and they abruptly hung up. I understand they may be swamped, with perhaps not enough employees. But they can still do better than being so outwardly annoyed that someone would dare call them. I paid money for that food and I expect either a refund or the food without feeling like I am ANNOYING them for being their customer and the reason the company continues to earn income to pay these employees. Not impressed at all. I have been hearing good things from employees on how good their quesadillas and tacos were so, I decided to go try one for myself. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and when I looked in the bag I knew it was going to be interesting. I removed the grease-stained wrapper to find a sad chicken quesadilla waiting for me. I picked it up and gazed in wonder in the waterfall of grease pouring out of it. I was baffled. Did they just dip it in the fryer? Needless to say, it tasted as if it was. The drive thru is always so insanely slow, regardless of how many cars are or aren't in front of you. Last time I went, I ordered french fries and green burrito, was very dissatisfied because my fries were cold! That's all I wanted was some hot fries and they were cold! Also, my green burrito tasted like it had been sitting out. Very disappointing. I know it's just a del taco but the food is usually decent. Can't say that for this one.
