Just stopped to use bathroom and impressed on how decent, clean and well stocked it was!

Well you won't be disappointed at this location. I had the best chicken soft tacos I have ever had at any Del Taco. They were very generously filled and true to the product pictured. This del taco is so nasty !!!! First thing so many flies in the restaurant!!! Second the Employees Touching every with the gloves on and then preparing the food !! Third our tacos sat for a good few minutes getting cold as they waited on our other food !!! And forth the bathroom were so dirty and smelled so bad !!!! We are regulars at Del Taco,but as with all chain restaurants some are better than others. The place is great. Even on a busy night, staff is on point, food us fresh, service is fast and the bathrooms are usually clean. My wife really liked this del taco. We stopped on our way to Vegas on Friday (forgot to check in) and she made me promise we would stop again. STAY AWAY FROM THE ICED TEA! The service was fast and friendly. The store appeared clean. When I went to dump my melted ice and reuse my cup later this afternoon there was a bug in it. I didn't look close enough to see what exactly kind of bug it was, but it was fairly large. Food was hot and delicious as always. Upon receiving my $30 order, there was a hair in my fries, so i went back to the counter to get a new one. Came back to the table, noticed they forgot a burger, came back to the table noticed they forgot fish tacos. Lady with the unsanitary acrylic blue nails said we didnt pay for the tacos. I told them exactly how i ordered and she said yeah but you didnt pay for it. Being so displeased with everything i figured the most they could do was give me free tacos, nope. worst las vegas pit stop idea ever. i warn you all. DO NOT eat at this "restaurant"!!!!!!! Last Friday (8/7), i stopped by and ordered the new chicken fajita burrito (w/ guac and tomatoes) to dine-in. a couple hours later after arriving in vegas i began to feel nauseous and dizzy. i tried to sleep it off thinking it wasn't anything serious. it turns out that i was food poisoned. i literally ended up sleeping in my hotel room the whole weekend in vegas while all my friends were out enjoying themselves. I am serious when I say that i will NEVER stop to eat at this location again. i would have given it zero stars (or negative), but that option isn't available. this place used to be a 5 star del taco. and yes that sounds weird, but they did put 5 times the topping and filling of any other del taco out there. and everything used to taste fresh and warm. i stopped in may 2010 and they're just like every other del taco now. sad to say. read more

In the middle of nowheresville, there is Del Taco. Yeah. Service has always been quick. There is a drive thru but I like to stretch out for a little while in the dining room. Soda machine. i grew up on taco bell but as i matured i saw that i was more of a del taco guy.. wierd aint it? they have great chicken soft tacos which may be their staple but for a better deal the del classic burritos work. on one of their taco tuesdays in college, ive eaten 23 hard shell tacos NO JOKE i suggest deluxe chili cheddar fries, chicken spicy jack quesadilla, and cheeseburger also but this particular del taco does things differently.. ive been to this branch several times on my way to LV and they serve taco supremes when you order reg tacos but i cant complain. read more

After ordering the gentleman doing the drive thru was very social and after receiving our food we pulled off to the side to check our order. !PLEASE READ! First and foremost, let me start by saying if I could give this Del Taco location 0 stars, I would. The staff here is EXTREMELY rude and have no customer service skills whatsoever. I only got one of their names that was already provided on my receipt and her name is Bradley, unfortunately did not get the HORRIBLE manager's name. I places my order through drive-thru and they got my order wrong. I politely stated my order and they told me, with attitude, that I had to go back around and place a new order. There was already a really long line behind me and I just simply wanted my one extra taco that I had ordered. How hard is it to just charge me for the extra taco that I had originally ordered to begin with. Bradley was not cooperative and she had nasty attitude so I requested to please speak with a manager. The manager, which is quite frankly scary that she even has this position, had an even NASTIER attitude than Bradley did. She also told me with attitude that "I had to go around or leave the premise and that she didn't care about their mistake." I have NEVER in my life received this much lack of customer service. This Del Taco is a stop when going to or from Vegas. Food is good and they really pack the cheese on which is what I like. Tacos are stacked with lots of beef unlike Taco Bell. The bad...the restrooms are absolutely disgusting. They really need more attention in that area since most people stop to use the restroom and walk out. read more

I went through the Drive Thru, but I didn't find it to be slow at all. I thought it was really weird that French Fries came with the Combo meals. I thought that a "Mexican" fast food place might pair a burrito, taco, or quesadilla with some nacho chips. The fries tasted okay, it just seemed like a weird thing to pair with a taco. I got the #5 combo of two chicken tacos. These were impossible to eat while driving. They were sloppy and drippy and frankly, they tasted gross. I felt like I had to try Del Taco, since I was in Cali, but I don't feel the need to return. read more

Okay so I stopped here in baker because we were starving on our way to Vegas. The place was dirty inside and out. The drive thru was very slow and we were the only ones in line. im a super huge fan of del and the fact that its right before you get to vegas makes it that much sweeter ive had so many good times here, driving to vegas or back from vegas we usually always stop here and re-charge ourselves :) the food is cooked to order and is really fast. and they havent screwed up on my order EVER. customer service is great also. read more

OK. This is the best fast food in baker. This del taco is alot better than all the other del tacos ive eaten at (barstow,las vegas, and phoenix). I have a theory that the workers here take more pride in their work as opposed to the crack heads that work in phoenix and las vegas. They hook it up . the tacos are fat with lots of cheese. Had a little issue yesterday with something my husband tried for the first time, the epic chicken fajita burrito,my husband was very upset about the food (and he normally doesn't complain) so I called and spoke with a young girl that said she would help us tomorrow when we come back in. I went back in today and a gentleman named Fernando helped us, I wanted to say that he definitely went above and beyond making sure that we were taken care of. WHAT HAPPENED? This del taco used to be #2 in all of California only second to the Barstow location. Paid for extra cheese only to get less than usual without paying extra. The combo burrito was smaller than average and 90% beans. Tacos have shrunk and corners are being cut to the point that this is now just an average del taco. We would go out of our way to stop there as we drive to and from Las Vegas. We are done and will make sure the Barstow del taco gets all our business as we pass through. read more

Best Del Taco ever. This place was slammed with people at the beginning of a 3 day weekend, yet the food was prepared quickly. The dining area tables and trays were being cleaned as fast as they were being used. Tacos and quesadilla were good size portions. Hamburger and fries were good, too. The manager was overseeing orders as they were coming and going, efficient and organized. It is nice to see a Baker, CA business take pride in their business. read more
