We initially were drawn to Del Rey Fabrication because of a dark brown ornamental metal gate, Anthony created, shown in his galleries. From our first conversations, we could see his creativity and willingness to work closely with us. He really wants to satisfy his clients and thoughtfully presents options to accomplish those goals...He's realistic about turnaround times, and produces some elegant scrollwork. He carefully planned and staged the construction in steps, and was well equipped to perform all the onsite welding and support beam installations. The engineering of the gliding suspended slide gate door was technically clean and functions very nicely. I am sure he will post a photo of it..the metallic dark brown powder coat finish is stunning. Anthony also researched and found a lock solution for the gate, so that the gate security could be integrated into our existing house locks! Awesome extra effort! Based on his performance, we plan to have Anthony rebuild our backyard fence with metal posts and another ornamental iron project. Highest recommendation. read more

Del Rey Fabrication just finished installing our new handrails and re-vamped front gate today and I am thrilled with the outcome. Anthony, was very responsive and friendly and listened to my ideas and concerns and gave me great input so I would get exactly what I wanted. In the front, Anthony matched the detail on my existing front gate on the new hand rails. Our gate was 10-12 years old and very faded and rusted so he removed it, sanded it down and had it re-powder coated. It looks like brand new now and like it perfectly matches the new rails. I have MS and the steps in the front and back yards are getting difficult for me to navigate without help and were an absolute necessity by our pool. Prior to calling Anthony for a quote, one of things that captured my attention from previous YELPS were that his prices were fair, workmanship was superb and he kept customers updated on the work status. When Anthony first came over to give a quote, he was on time. I made a few calls to other fence companies and ditto to what others have said, some other companies never called back. I even had one person come over and took all the measurements but never followed up. LET'S GO BACK TO ANTHONY..... Anthony's professionalism and consciousness truly shows in his workmanship. During the installation which involved a total of 4 neighbors, he had a delivery delay. He was quick to call and update on the small delay. He also had separate contracts for each neighbor detailing each person's financial responsibility. Where are 10 stars when you need them?!?! Anthony did 2 iron fence projects for me a few years ago. Both projects included gated doors. Well, 3 years later, a hinge broke. It was my improper care that caused the entire problem. A week ago, I called Anthony to repair the damage. He said he'd repair the problem; but did not quote me a price.
