Beautifully decorated place, yummy food and friendly staff. The drinks could have been a little stronger but the meals made up for it. Looking forward to coming back.

My wife and I dined at Del Monico on Valentine's Day. We hadn't dined here in several years - and now realize what we were missing. The menu has something for everyone. We shared the pupu platter appetizer. Sesame chicken skewers. Filet skewers. Pork wontons. Swordfish wontons. Garlic shrimp. Cole slaw. Everything was absolutely delicious. This is a MUST appetizer when we return. My wife had the chicken with prosciutto and cheese. Nice portion and very tasty. I had an 8 ounce filet - cooked to a perfect medium rare with a nice char. Not too many places where you can get a filet for $35. Tender. Tasty. I also got the horseradish mashed potatoes - great choice - nice kick. Service was warm and attentive. Food came out promptly. Water refilled often. Zero issues. This is the meal we envisioned for a special night out. Five stars well earned.

Went for the first time for my daughter's birthday and first was decorated really pretty for the holidays . Everything we had was very good would definitely be back !

Celebrated my birthday with my family at Delmonico's and it was an awesome experience. We got a few appetizers (chicken lettuce wraps, wings, and calamari) and they were all phenomenal. I ordered the 22 ounce ribeye and it was out of this world. Super flavorful and so soft that my knife cut through it like butter. The staff were super friendly and quick with our orders. The owner actually came out and spoke with us a bit, and even sang happy birthday for me. This is an awesome restaurant, with great ownership and excellent food! I'll be back for sure.

Our second time coming. Love their steaks. It was quiet when we came but as we left it was getting busy. The owner comes around and is present. The whole staff is real nice. Food was good but this time I think it sat for a little as my medium well was well done. But all good. Steak was still very good and juicy. The inside is clean and cozy.

I heard great things about this place, the New York chain , so when I heard there was one in New Jersey I've been trying to come here for sometime. well I was definitely wildly disappointed, my server clara was super sweet and attentive but the food was definitely lackluster. The appetizers were just mediocre at best the only things that we're good we're basic the shrimp cocktail was good, the pu pu platter was ok. there are definitely some great deals for lunch though, we ordered almost the entire menu and our bill was only 190. I think perhaps lunch is not the way to go because I saw the steaks for dinner and I definitely think I'll be back for that.

Eh. Went in recently and had just an okay time. I've been here in the past and enjoyed happy hour but somehow my experience missed the mark. I am taking out how covid has affected things, and my experience was slightly forgettable. What make up for it was the very please gentleman (manager maybe) who went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience. Would I go back?? Eh, maybe? Moreso for happy hour apps and drinks if anything.

Okay, I'm not sure why this place doesn't score higher. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked. The salad was dressed just right. The drinks were perfect. They even had blue cheese stuffed olives for my martini. The baked scalloped potatoes on the dish are amazing. I'm not saying they are healthy, but they taste a little like heaven; creamy and cheesy. Will definitely we back.

Check this out... It's a little bit tricky where the entrance is, because it is not located on the Main Street as you drive by the restaurant. There is a parking lot in the back and that's where you'll be walking in from. I was told that James Gandolfini (aka: Tony Soprano) was part owner, back when he was alive (God rest his soul), which would make sense why this is designed this way. Back in the day, mobsters always went in through the back door to get seated. I'm not going into detail why mobsters always went in through the backdoor to any "joint" (place of business)...Google it! Haha As you park in the back lot you notice the outdoor seating. Again, perfect for being hidden away from the Main Street so that people driving by wouldn't see what's going on. And, makes for a quick getaway when you're located next to your car haha. As you walk in you have the bar area along the right side with some high-top tables for dining. They have happy hour specials on drinks (half off), and bar food items. The hours run different daily (around 4pm-7pm & 9pm-11pm), and some last a couple hours before closing. They had fit as many TVs as possible, and I could see this place being a nice hangout spot for sporting events including "Sunday Funday". The restaurant side brings elegance and a trendy look to the place. I liked the decor and the seating, great for big parties. I made reservations so I was seated right away which was very nice. The food items I chose were delicious. The bread (dinner rolls) come out hot and fresh with 3 side items: butter, oil infused garlic for a sweet kick, and oil infused hot peppers for a spicy kick). For my main course I had chosen the Filet Mignon dressed with melting butter and garlic which was recommended by our lovely waitress, Chelsea. It was made this way as her special request, so if you see the video you'll have to ask for it to be cooked sizzling hot with butter and garlic. Overall I liked this place, because of the atmosphere and menu. It's a steakhouse that has different dishes to offer (Asian and Italian), and the menu is worth coming back for again. The bar is definitely a nice hangout spot with young locals, and good drinks made by the bartenders. So you won't be disappointed in making new friends if you are new to the area.

My family and I always come to this restaurant on holidays. Brandon (the owner) is very accommodating always making sure you're well taken care of. We generally always start off with the lump crab appitizers it's so delicious and very fresh. & my mom always sticks to the filet mignion and this time I switched to the general Taos chicken. It was phenomenal, I should've gotten this entree years ago! Can't wait to come back!

Went to this place after driving past it a ton of times from Willowbrook Mall. One day I'll go and check it out. Boy, I wish I went in sooner. The food here was amazing!!!! At first I was a little iffy walking in. It doesn't look like much from the outside. But once you go inside, they treat you like a king from the moment you walk in. Their biggest ticket here is the food quality. I got the Del Monico which is their Ribeye and it was very well seasoned and very fairly priced. The only takeaway was that I couldn't have dessert because of how full I was. The food here is priced just right, the portions are generous, and the food very very very good.

The restaurant was packed when we arrived, with both indoor and outdoor dining, but they were expecting us for our reservation and seated us right away. The front-of-house staff was warm, friendly and even remembered my husband from when he called to make the reservation. The food was the standout. I ordered the short rib, which arrived with quite the presentation, a huge bone topped with incredibly tender, shaved short rib and mixed vegetables. It was delicious and the portion was enormous. I shared some with my husband at dinner, took the rest home, and we still managed to turn the leftovers into an omelet a couple of days later! My husband ordered the double-thick pork chop and loved it. We also shared the fried shrimp and calamari appetizer, and both the marinara and aioli were excellent. One small area for improvement would be helping the younger waitstaff become a little more comfortable guiding guests through the menu. When we asked for recommendations and what dishes the restaurant was especially known for, it took a little prompting before we got to Parmigiano. Our server was perfectly nice. It just would have elevated the experience to have someone confidently say, "This is what we do exceptionally well, and here's what I recommend." Overall, though, we had exactly the kind of evening we needed. We brought a bottle of wine, relaxed, talked, enjoyed the atmosphere and genuinely felt like we had gotten away for a while. Our bill came in at the $100 range, and we left completely satisfied. Great food, generous portions, a welcoming atmosphere and excellent value. We'll absolutely return.

After ordering, you seat yourself at one of the tables inside or luck out with lovely early autumn weather on the patio. They have plenty of specials to choose from and a healthy selection of pizzas, platters, shared plates, and pastas. My only complaint was the awkward waiting to order and be sat at a table if you're waiting for 2/6 folks in your party but there are plenty of open tables both inside and out. Would definitely come again for a quick bite with a bottle on the patio while the weather is nice.

It was a very lively place to be and the server was such a delight. We had a sangria, a mimosa and a bullet 95. All excellent! In fact I had another sangria with dinner because it was so light and refreshing. My daughter loves arancini and theirs was perfection. The right amount of crunch on the outside with the tastiest sauce. She remembered a fancy grilled cheese that her dad made when she was younger. He told her it was mozzarella en carozza and ordered it for us to share. Omg, it was amazing. Grilled cheese for adults! I was getting kinda full from the drinks, appetizers and the most incredible bread (our server sent a loaf home with us-their ovens truly make a difference) so I ordered a side of Mama E's meatballs and risotto. Both were so very good and a couple of meals for me. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his sole oreganata. The right amount of seasonings and the sole was cooked perfectly. It was delicate and flakey as it should be. My daughter picked the tortellini Alfredo and loved it very much. We were too full for desert but the server was super nice and brought a scoop of ice cream over a brownie and sang to my daughter. All in all it was an excellent meal, the service was amazing and the restaurant was everything we wanted it to be to celebrate a Milestone birthday. It comes with fresh cheese. Olive oil, red pepper, salt, and pepper are at the table. We ordered an eggplant rollatini appetizer which was three good size rollatinis, plenty for two people, even maybe 3-4. For entrees, we ordered short ribs and a salmon filet stuffed with crabmeat. The waiter asked how I wanted the salmon which I thought was odd for a stuffed filet. The entrees were both good, the short ribs were nicely done and seasoned. The kitchen or waiter made a mistake and brought me a piece of salmon, not the stuffed one I ordered. It was thick so I thought maybe it was stuffed but seared closed. As I cut in, I saw it was plain salmon. It was OK but very dry and not what I ordered. I cut into the middle, thinking maybe it was just stuffed in the center. Nope. I also then realized the side veggies were not what was on the menu (because they brought the wrong dish). I let the waiter know and he apologized. Mistakes happen and I was not going to insist on a new dish when I had eaten about 1/3 of this one. They did bring over a small cup of shredded crab meat and a sauce. Again, mistakes happen but what irked me was they didn't even adjust the price, charging me higher price for what I ordered, not the lower priced dish they served. I was not looking for a free meal or even a free dessert, but you don't correct the price on what you served??? Again, staff was all nice, but this is my second time there and second eh experience. Calandra does have a nice restaurant up the road, Med Grille, and that is always top notch.

This review is from our meal on August 30, 2026. While the menu has been changed from time to time, it does not happen frequently. However, there are often a variety of special additions. One item on the menu we have ordered in every visit is the shrimp appetizer, which I mentioned in my original review. It used to be called shrimp arrabbiata. Now it's called garlic shrimp (according to the online menu, but believe it's baked garlic shrimp on the actual menu). By any name it's not to be missed. I believe it used to be 8 shrimps, which at some point was trimmed to 7 shrimps). The size are large to near jumbo, easily more than a single bite, easily U-25, but maybe not quite U-15 sized. The sauce is so good it's worth finishing with the consistently delicious warm rolls being used to soak up every last drop, or spooned out of the bowl like soup. It's spicy, but not overpowering. This is a must order for shrimp lovers. I usually order one of the many house-pastas. My wife is usually ordering one of the fresh fish offerings. The scallops are a hit too, as is the risotto, though I still nix the chorizo, which I'm typically then rewarded with extra crab. The service is very accommodating in every respect, willing to make every reasonable adjustment. Desserts are typically good, but also typical to all Italian eateries. They used to have a must-have mousse concoction that disappeared after a while. That was a mistake, as it was exceptional.

Some standouts were the ravioli appetizer, very delicious and the rigatoni with truffle butter, which was a special, was also a favorite of mine. I would say the food was a little bit on the saltier side and maybe they could tone that down a bit. Other then that, laid back spot. Good food.

The bright citrus flavors paired perfectly with the salmon, and the radishes added just the right amount of freshness and texture. I wouldn't change a single thing about the dish. The pasta was just as impressive. The sauce was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. It tasted like something my grandmother would have made from scratch--fresh, homemade pasta cooked with love. It had that comforting, homemade quality that makes a meal unforgettable. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse, and it was phenomenal. It wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated.
