They make cancelling overly complicated for a service such as lashes. You cannot cancel in person you need call even if you told the same person that you signed up with you want to cancel! They do not action cancellations through their app and it is not clearly or visible on the app how to cancel the service no where do you see a cancellation memo! You need to call in! They do not allow you to use your credit if the membership is suspended! Very questionable business practice. The same way I signed up should be at a minimum an option to cancel! Scheduled appt for 9am. I called to See if I was :15 mins late if they could still take me. I couldn't get a human from the physical location on the phone. As I was driving there I called. The call center didn't open until after 9am. When I got someone they were cold and robotic and told me 5x they would note my account about being late. No friendly cadence like "sure that works just get here when you can and we will try to get you out on time." Or "I don't think we can do that today but can reschedule you no problem." I get to the location that had 2 workers and was 100% empty and they said they couldn't take me and that they could schedule me later in the day. Again, cold acting w no warmth, soft skills, how are you today, nothing. I will never trust someone with my eyeballs and glue if they treat me like a number or robot. I have been in the aesthetics arena for over a decade and the service industry my whole life and the customer service at the call center and physical location were red flags when you are trusting people with something so personal. Deka Lash is known for having a subscription program where you pay a certain amount a month usually $100+ and in return, you build points and get fills at a lower price tag when you go in and get them done. So, one would think that It'd be worth it... NO! Absolutely NOT! When businesses create programs like these they are trying to push for their clientele to feel a sense of community, and yes you're paying a lower price tag when you go in, but that $100+ price tag that you pay once a month is insane! Especially, because you're also paying $50-$70+ tip every time you go in. Price-wise for everything you are getting here it is simply just NOT worth it. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!! Going back to the sense of community they are trying to push with this business model that in theory is a great idea for them to try, and I've seen it work for so many other businesses but... for Deka Lash specifically the Johns Creek location it DOES NOT WORK! And, it will never work if the employees that work there are RUDE, NEGLIGENT, have ZERO SENSE OF HOSPITALITY, and treat their clients like they are insane for demanding what they should already know how to do as employees of Deka Lash. It's horrible that when a client wants to voice that something has gone wrong with their lashes they're met with a defensive attitude from multiple employees and even the OWNER of sed location. I used a Groupon for a set of classic lashes. It was easy to schedule an appointment. I was able to get in at 2pm the day that I called. I must say that getting them applied was a very comfortable and pleasurable experience. The final result was beautiful! Hence the 2 stars. I considered getting the membership I liked them so much. I told her that I would think about it and possibly sign up when I got my fill in. I bought the make up remover pads and facial wash to the tune of $36. I followed every direction they gave me, I actually didn't wear any make up (I don't really wear it anyway), I didn't get them wet for 48 hours, I didn't pull, rub, or anything like that on my eyes or lashes. Fast forward one week. They were completely off! I called to cancel the fill in appointment I had because I was not satisfied. At all. It appears to be a corporate number you get in touch with. The woman I spoke to was very nice and when I told her that they didn't last a week, she told me that I was just outside of the one week guarantee. What one week guarantee?! I wasn't told about. I had no idea. I was out of town, but I would have called to tell them the lashes didn't last. She told me that she would email the location to see what they would do for me. What they offered was: one hour with the location manager to get done "what she's able to get done in an hour". Or I can get a free full set I sign up for the membership. Wouldn't I get a full set anyway if I signed up for the membership? They gave me until January 31st to decide. I can't prove that I wasn't told about the guarantee, so there is nothing that I can do about that. I've never worn lashes before and got them done and originally didnt get the look I was trying to explain and went back to have her fix what I was unhappy with.. She never once seems bothered that I returned and took her time understanding my concerns and fixed it! To be honest I can't even feel them and they still look natural but more enhanced . They also allow me to wear my glasses which makes me happy! Lashes don't last very long and customer service to fix a membership problem is very bad.

That was my first time getting lashes (ever!) and I got a deal at Groupon. After 2 hours getting the service, buying their kit, not getting the lashes wet for 48 hours and following all the direction, my lashes still fell down. When I came back for filling 2 weeks later I was told by my professional (during the session - not before, not after but while I had my eyes closes and glue on my lashes) that she should not be even taking me in since i had only about 20% of my lashes on and that on top of that she should charged me a no show fee (?????) because I needed a full set (2 hours). It was VERY unprofessional of her to tell me that while I was still laying down and finished saying "you should know by looking at the mirror you had only 20% of the lashes and I cannot see you like that".. 1) I was NEVER told I had to have at least 50% of lashes to make a refill (if I knew that I would not have bought the membership at the first day, without knowing how my lashes would react); 2) Guess what, I did NOT know how many % I still had on... I knew many were missing but I thought I was normal (my first time, remember?); 3) I read some reviews about a week warranty.. I was NEVER told about that otherwise I could have called after week so she could take a look and tell me if that was normal... My professional didn't even want to schedule my next fill unless I was going for a full set. The real sad part for me is that the refill she did with less lashes than a full set looked way more natural and beautiful than the first time!!!! I've had lovely service from this establishment in the past, yet this time was different. I made an appointment over the phone for a lash lift and they accidentally booked me for a tint so the time slot blocked off for my appointment was not long enough. This wouldn't have been a problem if the management had tried to fix the error or offered me a different appointment, yet I was stared at and made to feel uncomfortable as if it was my fault. They style as a whole I had to be extremely specific w or I would end up w one size on the entire eye so no depth or texture and the retention was absolutely terrible. Had these beautiful lashes applied and was happy but they began to itch after the first day....I was so in love with the look that I went back the second time and it went downhill. I woke up the next day to swollen eyes. I called and was told to try Benadryl for a couple of days. I couldn't stay woke taking this drug so I went to the John's Creek location and was told the same. The itching continued and my eyes got worst so I made an appointment with my doctor. I was told I was having a bad reaction to the lash glue. I called and cancelled my subscription but was told I needed to pay for the next month and I had two fills that I could use. I will not be going back and was really disappointed that I was forced to pay for a service that I could not use and cost me more money to take care of the problem I an really disappointed! read more

This location is bright and beautiful and always immaculate. Felecia is my daughter's lash stylist and she always does an amazing job. However, it would have been nice if when I called to make the appointment, that the person that scheduled my appt., could have given me a heads up to the fact that I was booking the appt. 5 days too early. Because I'm on the automatic payment plan, I will now get an extra $60 taken out of my account in a couple of days after paying $60 today. Let me start off my stating I am not one to complain or even write reviews but I felt the need to share my experience to provide you some insight to this franchise. Deka Lash @ Johns Creek has a horrible business model and even more questionable owner. I have held a membership with Deka Lash since December 2019 (which I was completely satisfied with until COVID-19 hit). In March when COVID started and the businesses started to close down, they shut down their store (with no notification- I just so happen to have an appointment scheduled and they called to let me know it was canceled). While on the phone I placed my membership on hold and was told that my membership would be on hold until I reactivated it (I even received an email confirmation stating my membership would be put on hold indefinitely). Then in May my credit card was charged for the amount of my membership. When I called to ask why I was charged, the representative on the phone stated that the hold on my account was lifted since the store reopened. I live in a household where my husband is high risk since he has no spleen so coming in close contact with other human beings is not even a choice for me. When I asked for a refund the owner declined to give it to me. Since the owner doesn't value their customers health I decided I didn't want to give money to someone who does bad business. I'll spend my $1,000 a year on lashes elsewhere. I used to recommend their store to my coworkers but now I will warn everyone not to use them. If you decide to get your lashes done really think twice about receiving their membership. read more
