I felt like splurging at the time and was impressed on how careful and considerate she was in protecting against spreading any kind of infection. Not to mention that I became instantly hooked on lash extensions! I do a Hybrid, which looks natural and lasts 3 weeks with care. Vivian and her staff, Madison and JazmenGlory, all do precise and careful work, besides being lovely ladies. So when Vivian decided to train to do permanent lip blush, I didn't hesitate to be a model. I was confident she would again do precise and careful work. But permanent make-up is a more difficult procedure than lash extensions! Vivian was so patient with me in choosing a color and lip outline that would give the natural look I wanted. And it worked! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS LASH PLACE. I have been going to this lash salon for over a year now. Everyone there is so professional and really well-trained in what they do. Vivian is the lead lash/ business owner there, and she has been a pleasure to get my eyelashes from. We not only have gotten to know each other really well, but I feel so comfortable with her while my eyes are closed for hours at a time. Getting your eyelashes can look/ feel uncomfortable at first, but Velvet Lash has the best glue, technique, and place to get your lashes done that I have ever gone to. My eyes have NEVER hurt, or burned after my lash extension process. The salon has good parking and is easy to get to. The chandeliers, the pink fur, and the scented bathroom are just some of the many touches that make this lash salon so lovely. Whether you are in the area or not, it is worth calling and talking to Vivian. She is so warm and friendly and will answer all the questions you might have. Okay, first of all this isn't my first Rodeo - I googled eyelash tint near me to find this wonderful little salon in Roswell GA. When you walk-in for your appointment, you are immediately welcomed with an extremely friendly staff and an environment which is quaint and homey allowing you to feel relaxed from whatever it is or was you were doing prior to this. Now for the treatments I have received similar treatments in San Francisco where I am from and considered high end in SF but you pay dearly $$ for such. But Velvet Lash is a Blast!! Not only is it affordable, it was the most professional, careful and without a sense or "rushing" that I have experienced even better than in San Francisco! Vivian, who is highly regarded in her field, does an excellent job and you will leave not only looking younger, more radiant and youthful but it won't dig a hole in your wallet either. The new location is fine but a little out of the way (hard to find from the street). I was a former client who has positively loved the lash extensions I got here pre-Covid. Today I went to try a lash lift and tint in preparation for some professional photos I'm having to have taken. The person I booked with, Arlene, was maskless. So grateful I double masked. Given the fact that this type of work requires the lash specialist to be 6 inches from my face for an hour-long stretch to perform such a service I think it's reckless (to business continuity and public health) and not customer-focused for those performing services right now to not be wearing a mask during a surge of a highly contagious version of Covid. The woman who did check me out was wearing a mask but I can't recommend Arlene or Velvet Lash currently for this reason. Hopefully they will reconsider their employee mask policy to encourage others to keep using their services during the pandemic. read more

I wanted to update my review (still five stars) since I have now been to Velvet Lash four more times for fill ins and just give some more valuable information. I do 3 week fill ins. I could probably stretch to 4 weeks, but I find that the days before my appointment my lashes need a boost. Could I stretch to four weeks? Sure. Do I want to? Nah. The amount of lashes left directly relates to how well I treat them. Lashes fall out naturally (without extensions) in four weeks. If I clean them and brush them daily, they stand up pretty well. I recommend the solution they sell there. I have to be careful not to rub my eyes after waking up or when they get watery. But it is an easy habit to break. I have started seeing Mia simply due to availability reasons. She is just great! I would welcome making an appointment with either her or Vivian. I haven't worked with the other staff members, but I really do believe this salon hires top tier quality employees as every person I see leave has a great looking set. I love this place so much. It's my happy spot to relax after a long day of work. It's truly a spa like atmosphere. It's just so therapeutic to go in, fall asleep for an hour, and wake up feeling beautiful. read more

I've been wanting to get lash extension for years, but was always hesitant because find a trusting a stylist I could trust with my eyes was hard. I did a lot of research and looking around a stumbled on Velvet Lash. I went to for my first appoint two weeks ago and for my re-lash this past week and could not be happier with the results! I booked an appointment with Vivian, and explained to her what I was looking to achieve. She is the sweetest, and so so so good at what she does. I started with the Classic look and have not gone to the Volume - I truly love both results and will be continuing to go regularly. They look so natural but also full and beautiful. Had my first set of lash extensions put on two days ago with Mia at Velvet lash and my experience here has been superb! As a newbie, I had lots of questions and the owner Vivian was quick to respond by text to answer them in advance. I decided on a volume set on my first go for the drama as a frequent wearer of false strip lashes, the look turned out perfectly! I had to return the next day to have some lashes adjusted (not their fault, I have crazy natural lashes that don't grow in even directions) and again Vivian was so quick to respond and have Mia correct them exactly as I needed them to be! I don't have another experience to compare them too, but if you're looking for a quiet, clean, calm, personable experience with great communication between clients and Service then I highly recommend Velvet Lash! I couldn't have asked for better service or quality when I visited Vivian. I'm a very picky person and I place quality at the top of my list when receiving any sort of service, and Velvet Lash didn't disappoint when it came to that. I got my lashes done for my engagement session a week and a half ago and my lashes still look exactly like they did the day I got them done. I wasn't sure if I would keep maintaining them, but seeing how well they're holding up and will continue to hold up, I will most likely get fill-ins! And this rate, they will only require monthly fill-ins since I don't see them budging anytime soon.
