She didn't have an e-certificate option available, but due to her unbelievable flexibility, creativity, and customer service, she managed to drop off a paper certificate in the mail that my mom found in her mailbox on her birthday. Fast forward 2 months. My mom wanted to use her certificate because she found out rather unexpectedly that she'd have to move out of the Tri-state area. I asked Elaine for her availability and she said that she typically books out three weeks in advance. However, she put my mom on the cancellation list and after a few cancellations, my mom was fortunate enough to make it into Elaine's Skin Studio three days before her move. Throughout all of these interactions, Elaine never showed an ounce of frustration or annoyance. She is truly a gracious individual who goes above and beyond for her clients, even her new clients! I called my mom after her facial, and she told me that Elaine was very friendly and knowledgeable. She remarked that the studio was pristine, cozy, and intimate, and that she immediately felt relaxed upon walking into the studio. She described the entire experience as peaceful and calming, and I'm so grateful for that since my mom had been in a frenzy trying to pack an entire house together in relatively short notice. Elaine also gave her some great suggestions to enhance her current skin care routine. Though I'm bummed that neither my mom nor I live close enough to drive to Elaine's Skin Studio regularly, I really do hope to go there one day to meet Elaine and pamper myself with one of her amazing facials!

Let me start off by saying, Din is amazing and you absolutely need to see her for any permanent…read moremakeup procedures. I had gotten my eyebrows microbladed ~4-5 years ago elsewhere, and while I was happy with what I had gotten at the time, after seeing Din, I appreciate how much more care she takes in what she does, and the level of customer service she provides. Getting permanent makeup done, especially your brows, is a BIG procedure, and actually, a bit of an emotional one! And thankfully, Din is there every step of the way. I started the process by booking my consultation with her, which we did via Zoom due to COVID. Although I was fairly familiar with the process, she still took the time to explain everything so I was prepared for the procedure, and to allow me to tell her what I personally wanted. From there, we booked my first session! I got a combo brow, and Din took into account the shape of my face and what I told her I liked. The procedure itself was not bad at all; Din numbed me (and continued to do so throughout the procedure). While it is a very similar feeling to getting a tattoo, Din has such a light hand and made sure I was OK throughout the entire procedure so I never felt any pain - moreso I felt the vibrations from the machine and the eventual soreness that comes with getting a tattoo procedure (if you've sat for a tattoo, you know this feeling). (Also, as we got this done during COVID, I must say - Din's office is *spotless* and she took every precaution to ensure that we were safe, and of course, that everything was sanitized for the procedure itself.) Afterwards, she walked me through what I needed to do through the healing process and what to expect - the itchiness, the peeling and how dark and light it would be at different stages (she also provides a cute info sheet!). You can see how my healing went in one of the pictures attached. What's great is that Din also includes a touch-up with the fee you pay, which is amazing and really speaks to how much Din cares about the final result. All in all, Din gave me back my confidence, and saved me a lot of time trying to fill my brows every day!

The lashes started falling out that night. By Wednesday, there were barely any lashes left. I took photos and sent them. The woman I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude when I let her know how bad the lashes were. Ashley refused to make it right and tried to blame me. She even threatened me with police action if I tried to dispute it with the credit card, which is an interesting business practice. She sent me a series of harassing texts and blew up my phone with calls. The length this woman would go to not do the right thing for a new client over $300 is astonishing. So unprofessional and very poor quality work. She responds with lies about how she offered to fix her disaster, but that's not true. I have the threatening texts and the repeated calls as receipts. It was sent to the credit card company. Only an unhinged person calls the police to intimidate a client posts negative feedback on bad service. That's not how a normal business operate. Go somewhere reputable. That's certainly not here.

NEVER AGAIN. $1300.00 down the drain…read more I lost my brows due to very low thyroid function last year and decided to finally have my brows done. I made an appointment (and by the way, you need to pay a 50% "non-refundable" deposit when you make an appointment, which should've been my first red flag) I was also shocked that the service was $1300.00. But, stupid me, for that price, I thought that meant my brows were going to look exceptionally great The day of my visit, I showed Courtney a picture of myself so that she could clearly see what my brows normally look like and what I expected them to look like. She assured me that that's what they would look like. After close to two hours and toward the end of the procedure, she told me that my skin was "tough" When she was done, I looked in the mirror expecting to see brows like I showed her in my picture. Instead, my "brows" resembled two thin, auburn worms across the tops of my eyes (my brows are normally thick and dark brown). Courtney assured me they'd look better after my second appointment. To say I was disappointed would be a vast understatement, but I made my "follow-up" appointment for a few weeks later (an additional fee, by the way), paid my remaining 700.00 and left. By day two, my brows were back to being bare, all traces of the "work" Courtney did were completely gone. The following day, I had an appointment with my dermatologist (who's office also does brows and other services), who could not believe I had anything at all done to my brows. He also couldn't believe I was charged for "What??? What did she charge you for? You have absolutely NO eyebrows". I was completely humiliated. The following weekend I was at a party with two women who own a brow bar. When I showed them my (non-existent) brows and told them about my experience, they couldn't believe I had anything done at all, as there were absolutely no traces of ink on my brows, nor was there any "peeling". They also couldn't believe the amount of money I paid and both encouraged me to reverse the charges, as services were not rendered. The following day, I called my bank and did reverse the $1300.00 charge back to my bank account. I also immediately sent Courtney a text as well as a voicemail letting her know that the "brows" were completely gone, that I had reversed the charges and questioned her services. She immediately called me saying she let me know my "skin was tough" during the procedure. Yet, instead of stopping the procedure, knowing it wasn't going to work, she kept going and then had the nerve to charge me $1300.00. She also told me on the call that she needed to be paid for her "time". She had absolutely no interest in the fact that I wasted MY own time being there, nor the fact I didn't receive the services promised. She did offer to have me come back so she could make it right, but by this time (when I told her my dermatologist laughed when he saw my brows three days after my procedure and didn't believe I had anything done, Courtney became extremely defensive and told me she didn't give a "F" what my dermatologist thought), I had absolutely no faith in her, as she could have "made it right" during my first visit, or stopped the procedure completely once she saw my brows were "not taking the ink". Instead, she gave me crap brows which disappeared 48 hours later and had the audacity to charge me for them. I wanted to end the call, so I told her I'd be back. However, after speaking to others in the field, they strongly advised me NOT to return to her. I then sent a text telling her I had a face peel and was advised not to have my brows done for a few more weeks, to which she replied it was fine for me to come even though I'd had a face peel. Which I was absolutely not going to do. I canceled the follow-up. I had already been through too much with this woman and had absolutely no faith in her. Also, after her cursing regarding my dermatologist, I saw an unprofessional anger which made me very uncomfortable. Fool that I am, I actually reversed the charge so that she did get her full 1300.00, when I should've filed a police report for theft of service. However, I just wanted to be rid of this woman, who charged me $1300.00 for a service I never received. I'm not sure which was worse, the fact that she kept working on my brows when she knew damn well the ink wasn't taking, or that she charged me for a service I never received. We live and learn. I have since been referred to another professional, who did an amazing job!

I'm most certainly I am real, and disgusted. I made an appointment with this place to get permanent winged eyeliner. I sent in photos of what I was looking for, which was on their website, and photos of my eye. I was explained that the procedure could be done, and to go ahead and make the appointment which I did. Upon arriving, the woman taking care of me, I believe her name was Chris, appeared to have no clue what she was doing. It took her about a half an hour to finally draw the winged eyeliner correctly on my eye. But even with that, she still found a way to royally mess it up, and now I am permanently disfigured thanks to her. The owner, now she is a piece of work. At first, she was very apologetic, and explained that after this healed that it would be fixed. Now mind you, because of how bad this came out, Chris explained to me that I did not have to pay. This was more than just not liking the outcome, this looks absolutely nothing like what I have asked for. The owner was fine with this. Just a few days later when I asked for something, the owner got all defensive and started stating that I owed her money. Lol, there is not a chance in this world that I would pay for what you did to me, lady. Now, if she would've came out, respectfully and made an appointment with me to have this done the correct way and fixed, I would've been more than happy to pay for it. Unprofessional is not the word, ghetto is more like it. There are so many more places that would do an incredible job, and not be treated the way I was.
